Then you're wrong.
Sakurai confirmed it on the old site.
Anyway, what's with all the Fox hate? Weirdos. And S_L, he HAS aged by about ten years. And he doesn't look fat anyway. Unless you think anything other than 'skinny' = fat.
I personally think the old design looks dated now. And the new one isn't much different - the clothing just looks more realistic, and the eyes are more expressive, and the face is a slightly different shape (but not much).

And I hated him in both Super Smash Bros. just because my brother used him, and he was annoying

falco was a slow piece of crap compared to the almighty fox, complete with the ray-gun-that-takes-your-health-without-you-noticing-of-ultimate-doom.

Coming from the furry?Anyway, what's with all the Fox hate? Weirdos.
I've never had anything against Fox as a character, really. I like Starfox 64, and I think SF:A was a stupid idea, but as far as the character goes, he's alright. As far as Smash Brothers goes, I didn't use him a whole lot. I typically went with Falco if I had to choose.
I like his new costume design, but his face looks a little weird. I think it's the placement of his ears right at the very top of his head. I'm digging the scouter though.

Coming from the Flint?Coming from the furry?
I'm not a furry. I'm a human being, kthx. Furries don't actually exist. Just so ya know. XP
And I was referring to the weirdness of disliking a video game character 'just cos'. I don't see how anthropomorphism has anything to do with it, other than the fact that oh em gee, I quite like some anthro characters, which is, well, irrelevant. I'm sure it's probably facinating and all, but irrelevant. o.o

I wasn't exactly being overly serious when I said 'weirdos', you do know that, right? You do realise that maybe I was just joshing around? And that most people's concept of 'normal' is a logical impossibility that nobody can conform to due to it's subjective nature, so therefore, everyone is weird in some respects?
And also you're being very weird for making light of my fondness for anthropomorphic characters when it is entirely needless given that I was being not at all serious?
I never said I wasn't weird. I'm weird. But at least I'm likeable. XP
And I don't genuinely think people have 'issues' just because they disagree with me. That'd be weird. Oh wait.

Honestly, there is no pleasing some people though. Please stop complaining that you do not like the Fox design, or whatever issue you have with his look. You should be more worried about his moveset or taunt. Besides, everyone knows the original designfor Fox was the best ( I A-M B-E-I-N-G S-A-R-C-A-S-T-I-C ). I mean yeesh people, have some class if your going to hoist what you think is the best design.
EDIT: On second thought, I do not have a problem with people complaining. I just hate it when people fret over stupid little things. If you never really liked Fox in general, I got no problem. But if your going to whine about the fact that he has his Command look (and the aspects thereof)... It really is childish. He looks pretty good taking into account the fact that he is based on a simplified design. If your complaint is that he looks too much like a toy, guess wait--the guy is from a videogame. As far along and mature some games have gotten, you must remember that a videogame is a toy--a very sophisticated toy, but a toy nonetheless.

Mmm. It's like Yoshi's Island in 3D. Now all we need is Yoshi. XP

And I agree, that stage looks great. The support ghost is the icing on the cake; never thought I'd see that in SSB.

Okay, is it just me or does the Yoshi's Island stage look *gorgeous*?
That's what I was gonna say. It is a work of art.
Take your Cell Processor--I'll have YOSHI'S FRIKKIN' ISLAND, man!

The graphics as a whole in this game - and the music... heck, everything - are making me drool puddles.
It's good to be a SSB fan, isn't it?
