I thought Warrior's final smash would be the nuclear flatulence.

Jokes aside, maybe they're trying for a (near) simultaneous release.

But I do find it funny that 'Nate' has one of his taunts set as 'REAL MEN USE ITEMS!'.

Of course maybe I should have my name as "pwnd" because that's how bad I am at that game.
Ooh, I just came up with a great taunt...

Aside from that, there's some little gems of information hidden within all this stuff. I like the fact that you can steal Final Smashes. They seem even more tactical then I first thought. I think for some characters it'll be ideal to use the Final Smash instantly though. Bowser, for one. o.o
I love today's music update too. Fairly sure it'll be selectable on the Lylat Cruise stage, because X was developed by the same people who made the original Star Fox and is a similar themed game. Just to save people looking it up, X was the equivilent to Star Fox (3D shooter, not plot related), but on the original Game Boy. It used 3D graphics that god knows how they managed to put it on that 8-Bit thing. o.o I'm stunned that it was never released outside Japan.

Couldn't they just release a version in the UK without the continental translations? Please?

Somebody else knows about X? I'll be damned. Most people just thought it was some Megaman X.Obviously they're going through a fair few 'filler' updates recently, I'm fairly sure this is mainly down to the fact that the game was delayed from it's initial release date, so they have to avoid revealing the entire game to us when it's still a few months away.

I listened to that track rather often (and got into one of the tunnels in the actual game at some point, not being able to read Japanese makes it much harder)... so I'm glad to see it's getting put in, as obscure and "out in nowhere" as it is.
...By the way, the reason they could do that, is because of the GB being more suited to VRAM (that is, writing graphics directly to tiles instead of having them on chips). It did all of the rendering straight to VRAM, which is why it slows down when there's a wall covering a lot of the screen.

I don't buy it. Even for NoE, this seems extreme.http://www.videogame...-2007-7051.html
Sucks to live in Europe.
I mean, for fuck's sake.

Delaystation Wii!
Really, I feel bad for you guys. It seems like Europe and Australia are always getting shafted when it comes to release dates.

I laughed. I think Crazy Japan Time Man just dominated a large group of people/games with that teasing remark. That?s epic! Can we really do this? Wouldn?t you say it?s way better than having all your opponents drop out?
Oh, CJTM! You're my hero!
Gasp! CJTM, you don't say! When you have a battle mode that runs online like Basic Brawl, the problem of what to do with hidden characters arises. If one of your opponents chooses a character you haven?t unlocked yet, it will be spoiled for you immediately.
But even without this mode, given the proliferation of the Internet these days, the existence of hidden characters is going to get exposed anyway.
So, this time I?m moving in the direction of not being too hung up on hidden characters.
What?This is a CD.

Check out the very bottom of the page. Notice something different? Yep, it's an extra music track! Only for Japan? Who can say. @.@

I watched an episode... I was confused. King Dedede built a factory, which his subjects then happily worked in, unknowingly assembling a giant robot for him to then attack them with... But after the robot's destroyed, they seem fine with him still being king. Why is he trying to kill his subjects? Why do his subjects not care that their king is trying to kill them? Why is Kirby a baby?

Aside from that, I can't speak for the dub, but there's probably a few things lost in translation. I don't know why he'd attack his own Waddle Dees, but there must have been some reason. @.@
Kirby's a baby because he's only just turned up in Dreamland and was in a sort of deep sleep beforehand.

His subjects are Waddle Dees, aren't they? They're not exactly bright. Or particularly bothered about much. Oh, and a lot of what happens with Dedede in the anime is a parody of America and George Bush in particular.

No, they were Cappys. There were Waddle Dees too, but they just built the factory and didn't show up again...
And I think he did mention "Weapons of Mass Dededestruction" or something...
So. A pokémon you throw at people. Mm.
