[Captain Jack Sparrow]

I love spoilers. I just wish i could find a guy who remembered Ike's complete moveset.

I also hope is is given enough speed to not be as hideously slow as that guy said he was. He said he was slower than bowser and ganondorf! but he also said that the game moves slower as a whole, so maybe thats just it.

Hm.. Nice to see Link's N64-version taunt back. His SSBM taunt was pretty lame, now that I think about it.

Otherwise not really anything exciting. Other than Snake's box seems to be activated via Taunt.

Also, Wario appears to be mooning the camera in that one picture. I do hope his pants stay on.

I think Link's taunt should have had Midna popping out of his shadow, not the fairy. The fairy pointer was kind of "not real," anyway.

(I don't mean it doesn't exist, what I mean is I'm pretty sure the fairy pointer isn't acknowledged in any way by the characters in game, when Midna clearly 'exists.')

Kind of a boring update today, but I does get me thinking about how nice the auto-handicap feature can be. :3 Real nice for parties where some people are experts and others have never played the game before.

Also, old news but multiple taunts = Splash being a very, very, very happy person.
And soon to be a very, very, very annoying player.

Kinda 'eh' update, considering I'll be playing the game I intend to buy. Seriously, I don't see the point of watching.

For a relative amateur like me, watching other people would help me see just what can be done with certain characters.

Many of us will be playing for almost the entire time the game is on, but others, as Veteran has said, will most definitely enjoy watching. I know I'll do a bit of both. It's better than putting the computer on against itself and watching that, to be sure. I do hope there will still be AI opponents in the multiplayer of this game, what with WiFi battles and all.

I'm already hearing some sadness over the replacement of the good ol' black Link, but the change isn't so bad to me. I wonder what they'll do for Sonic and some of the others, though.
For him, I hope it's not recolors. D: The last thing we need in this game is "fan characters."

I think the dark Link model looks great. Is it confirmed that there's no black-tunic Link? If I were them I'd replace the ice-blue Tunic from the old games with that one.

Each character will have 6 different customs, there's no need to replace any of them. But Blue Tunic Link should stay ^^

Sod that, replace the Blue Ring outfit with the Fierce Deity colours if you're gonna replace it with anything. Now *that* would be nice.

I'm still hoping for proper costume changes, but it doesn't look likely given that there's no hints at it. ;-;
Even so, Dark Link looks just like he does in the TP cutscene showing him, so I don't know what people are complaining about. The black tunic in Melee was a poor man's Dark Link. It was fairly dull. I'm glad we actually get Dark Link this time.

It seems they're going for 'dark' versions of most of the characters, too. This wouldn't be too difficult for many of them. If they wanted to, they could even have Shadow Mario from Sunshine, although the Wario outfit suffices I suppose. There's already a Dark Meta Knight in one of the Kirby games, so that would be easy.

That Dark Fox though... Is that the outfit that some people claimed was a Wolf outfit? Because if it is, that's yet another reason to ignore people blabbing about demo information. @.@ That's not like Wolf at all, even if the fur is more gray.

Despite the lack of costumes, I LOVE the Fusion Suit colours, and Yeti DK and 'fallen angel' emo Pit fill me with joy. ;-;

One more thing to say then I'll shut up, but the Nintendo Official Magazine over here has put their money on Krystal being a new character. Of course, they're hardly a source of reliable information, but it's interesting to note anyway. AND I SHUT UP NOW.

Whoa. Custom buttons? As boring as this update may be, I think this may be one of the best posts yet.
Seriously. My main worry about SSBB was about how awkward the controls may be for those of us who have to use the Wiimote, and being able to choose the controls changes that completely.
Now I can go back to worrying about whether Captain Falcon is going to be in this game or not.

Although I get the feeling that the secret characters won't be revealed until close or after release. And I think Jigglypuff, Luigi and Captain Falcon might remain as secret characters simply as a sort of tradition. Except Captain Falcon wasn't a secret character in Melee... So... Uh. Well he was in the original, anyway... Frankly I can't see them removing Falcon unless they've gone mental.

Anyway, yeah, today's update was interesting but nothing exciting, but hey, we've been spoilt regularly so we can't complain too much when they throw in a few 'fillerish' updates. Especially since the game was delayed so they need to drag it out a bit longer.

If they have gone mental and removed Falcon, it was probably to hand his moveset over exclusively to the more widely recognized Ganondorf, in which case I will scream bloody rage and murder until the third moon sets over Mute City.
