Brawl update! SPOILERS

-There's a scene where Fox gets his Final Smash when Zero Suit Samus on on the stage. This means one of two things: Zero Suit Samus is independantly selectable, or final smashes drop more than once per battle. My money's still on both, actually, but now we know for sure that one or the other is true.
-Character icons on the bottom fade when a character goes behind them. Look at Pit's icon at the 0:05 mark.
-We see Lucas doing some sort of move at 0:48 that is NOT one of Ness's old moves.
-Taunts are back. Look at Ike at the 0:50 mark.
Adventure mode looks incredibly awesome, too.

Apparently you did not spend enough time with it to learn much the game at all (evidently not even bothering to watch and/or memorize the beautiful intro), and I assume you therefore did not experience the growing monotony of its stupidly simple minigames. You mean it's not possible to play a game without owning it?
They sure could've had me fooled.
That could be a modified PK Flash, or simply his taunt.-We see Lucas doing some sort of move at 0:48 that is NOT one of Ness's old moves.
Moreover, the trailer revealed several new stages (Lave Caves, Ice Climbers and (?) Subspace/Final Destination) as well as some new moves/additions. Peach's taunt appears to have a paralyzing effect this time. Link summons Navi... Even though she wasn't in TP. Oh well...

Dude, it's like, right here, pay attention to the very forum you're on. XPWait, what? I heard about a FE DS game, but it's actually a remake?
Aha! You've made the classic blunder of assuming I feel anything else in this forum is worth reading! Ahahaha!

Personally, if they're limited to one more third party character, I would expect to a Square-Enix character, given all the musical talent from them seemingly randomly involved in the same.
Nobuo Uematsu is technically a free lancer - he still does quite a bit for SE, but he's free to work for other companies now. Sorta like how he did the Brawl theme.

Um, no. I haven't. When have I ever said otherwise?Apparently you did not spend enough time with it to learn much the game at all
I've played it once at my friend's house, once at my cousin's house, and I rented it once. The most recent of those (renting) was over half of a year ago.
Of course I haven't had nearly enough access to it to get to that point, having only played it a few times.you therefore did not experience the growing monotony of its stupidly simple minigames.
I don't get where all this contradicting me is coming from. Especially when it stems from me noting a sandbag trophy, and making an intentionally stupid comment about it.

Namco's Pac-Man
Capcom's Mega Man
Hudson's Bomberman (Hudson may be a part of Konami, but have longed enjoyed a close working relationship with Nintendo)
Square's Generic Character (Either "Black Mage" or "Chocobo")
I just don't see Square being that high of priority. They've only warmed up to Nintendo's handheld platform, whereas the other three have been a bit more friendly to the Gamecube and Wii. Namco is also part of the Triforce Arcade board along with Sega and Nintendo. Although not a founder of the board, Capcom has made a few games for it.

...okay, it's not that big of an announcement, but still a megaton nonetheless. I hope he is balanced; he looks way too fast right now. I mean, I'm sure he has drawbacks, but I can only base these opinions off of what I see.
This is so sweet!

I never had a Sega system, so I can't really comment. My only real exposure to Sonic is the cartoon. (The old one, I assume. With "Sonic Says" segment at the end.)
They should get Megaman and Simon Belmont, and you could do Captain N fights...

It was always TBA. Now at least we get it the same year. I would kill if this turns out to be another Super Paper Mario though.PAL release delayed to TBA 2008 (i.e. never)
But there is a blue Kirby that pwns everyone! There's also Dark Link! ...As a skin for Link, I mean.Sod Jiggs, there's no KIRBY.
No, I'm not being very funny. Sucks for you (and me).

can't...wait...agghh!!
...Well, since there's going to be another few months, plus the fact that we have Sonic AND Snake in Brawl, we're probably going to get one or two more 3rd party characters, no? Any guesses? I'm thinking of two more: Bomberman, and Rayman. Perhaps we'll also get Nightmare from SoulCalibur (or someone from that series), and Mega Man. Anyone else more likely now that they've anounced Sonic?

His Final Smash would be to transform into Megaman-X for some 16-bit style butt-whoopery.

Though Megaman definitely gets the nostalgia vote.

That would be awesome in many ways.I'd love to see Geno on the roster, to be honest.
Now, about today's update, any guesses on the blurred out selection? I'm fairly sure it'll be an 'Edit' feature of some kind, possibly allowing you to make simple stylish adjustments like lighting effects, sepia and other little things like that.

Also, Fyxe, I think that's astute. :D Would be cool, tool; maybe it could even have stamps or voice bubbles or something of the sort.

MY LIFE IS RUINED!!!
Well on a completely different note, it'd be cool if Jack Sparrow appeared in smash, so unlikely it borders impossible, but cool.
