As for today's update: I think it's funny how Sakurai talks as if he's the only person working on the game. "I'm working very hard on it!" When, in reality, the game is probably somewhere between 99% and 100% complete, they mainly just have to design box art, print the manuals, and begin mass production.

But hey, I'm just speculating, he might be sitting on his ass and has written all the website updates aaaages ago for all I know.
Nice to see some new footage anyway, even if it's only 15 seconds. Wario scares me. Fox's Fire Fox seems more powerful. o.o And the Cracker Launcher looks very fun.

Not really, because it's been understood that there will be online for it.

That's weird, in the Spanish and the UK English version of the site he talks always in plural.

I'd love to see K. Rool show up as a playable character, too.

December 3rd, 2007.
Nice, right in time for Christmas next year.
And it's about time they brought the Bumper back! I really missed that in SSBM...

It could be a round planet, and the camera could zoom in and out, sometimes revealing the whole planet. Occasionally, it could rotate, bringing different platforms and environmental features to the top where the players fighting. You could even jump through a pipe into the centre of the planet itself.
I hope they keep some of his old alternate colors.
Blue Donkey Kong for the win!

However, this tune is from the original Star Fox, from one of the coolest stages ever, so I'm rather overjoyed to see this classic theme finally make a proper reappearance. ^^
Edit: Wait, no, I was wrong, it turns out the Corneria theme is a medley of the Venom theme, the main Star Fox theme and the Space Armada theme. Forgot about that. Even so, it's nice to hear it properly, like I said, it was only around 20 seconds long in Melee.

I remember the first Star Fox... the first ever publicly-released game that was made in 3-D. That music sounds miles better than the SNES version. However, this tune is from the original Star Fox, from one of the coolest stages ever, so I'm rather overjoyed to see this classic theme finally make a proper reappearance. ^^

i cant wait to use pit im dying for this game already i have the 60 bucks waiting. i refuse to spend it.
its nice to see that they are doing incredible things with the stages, the amount of detail gone into them really makes them more enjoyable to look at.

I see this as a good thing, since Samus has a two-pronged Final Smash, while everybody else who failed to read the interview in context or look at the E3 video is having a hissy fit because ZSS isn't a separate character (or at least, probably not).

I told people this was how the change would take place, but did they believe me? Even after the video? Noooo.
Of course, there may be other ways to switch between the two of them...

I mean sure, the Final Smash triggers ZSS, but take this in context with Adventure mode. When Zelda/Sheik transform she stays in the same state at the beginning of the in the next match so would this apply to 0 Sammy too?
