I hear that Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones is coming next month.

ESRB rated the game an "E" so it's release is coming soon. Probably not March though. Expect April or early May is my guess.

BTW, there's a new Fire Emblem scan out there for those who wish to look for it. I saw it already though and it shows some new characters as well as a few things that are being "pointed out" but I can't read Japanese and I'm a bit too lazy right now to try to get it translated by someone else

They've kept Excalibur in the game, too...

Advanced Wars is stealing away all my love for Fire Emblem. I didn't know they have better battle units than FE.

Thats not Excalibur thats Elwind from FE4.

And theres too many new classes to mention so far.

No, I'm pretty sure thats Excalubur. It could be Aircalibur, but that spell's effects are blue.
The book's cover also matches.

Um...what do you think we've been talking about? And theres already a JPN and US release date.

And TJ its Elwind, unless they make a unecessary name change. Aircalibur was FE6 only and Excalibur was just a special spell in FE7, Holy spell in FE8 and Maric's personal weapon in FE1/3 and Elwind was a pwnage wind spell from FE4.

Most likely we'll see some more updates in the future since the game is releasing in April (April 20 or 21 I believe) in Japan.

Anyways, we have some of the character's names now (although they may be subject to change for localization). Now we have that "Dark Knight" character (he was revealed previously but I didn't know his name really was Dark Knight)... I'm pretty sure he's a character that will join the group (well... seeing that he's grouped up with the rest). We'll see what part he plays and what's his true character (or we can never find out and leave him to be the eternal mystery man ).

EDIT: Oh, haven't seen this posted yet... The Sacred Stones has been confirmed for a May 23 release (which means it'll probably be in stores on the 24).

Probably like the Dark Knight class of FEG........although he's the first masked guy since FE3.

The Souen boxart is some of the most impressive I've seen since FE6 for sure.

Yeah. It looks kickass, but its probobly wont be the same for the american release.

The Seima boxart looks far better than the FE7 boxart too...

Theres also a soldier in FE8

Amelia hardly counted as a soldier. She was a trainee knight. =p

Actually she was a New Recruit and had the exact same weapons and stats as a Soldier and a cuter version of the animation too.....

And you could get Soldiers in FEG too.

Nah, she actualy had a little better stats that a soldier. They're not too hard to beat, stats wise. =p

You could get them in FEG? Bah, my knowledge stops at Thracia. >.<

And they got multiple promotions...main trademark of FEG was you ccould promote about 3 times and down different paths and all stats went upto 40.

But then again FE8 borrows heavily from FEG...the female and male Lord, monsters as main enemies, rpg style advancement and overworld, multiple promotions, heck even how FEG was the only ever game to have class stats over 30. Since FE8 has Demon King whos stats max at 40 and ZombieDragons who stats max at 50.

Why can't you play it? Is it because of the format? www.gametrailers.com has a Quicktime format available if that's the case.
