This thread shall never die. =p
Now all us who post in the Fire Emblem thread may continue to do so. ^^

I believe that the question I asked before everything was lost was how many different classes can have multiple promotions in the next GBA FE.

I'm tempted to think all of them will have multiple promotions, but there seem to be some "cross promotions". For example, Cavaliers can promote to Paladins or Great Knights (an FE4-5 axe-using mounted class), and Knights can become Great Knights or Generals. It sounds interesting, but a little confusing.

I'm getting pretty much all my info from gamefaqs boards. So far I have learned....

Knight = General / Greatknight
Cavalier = Paladin / Greatknight
Myrmidon = Swordmaster / Assasin

Are there any more?

EDIT- I heve to re-load this because of the crash...

Wow... :deadlink:
And as far as I know only recent FE8 updates is that they're filming the FE8 commercial.

I'm still playing Fire Emblem in my free time. Quite interesting but it keeps me in my computer for hours. I usually get tired out after such a long battle to the end in a chapter/side quest.

There's one thing I couldn't do: I can't seem to use the Heavenly Seal on Eliwood. When I tried it on Lyndis, it did work well.

Thats because Heaven Seal doens't work on your main lord.

Why did they design it to not work on your main lord anyways? o.0

You might want to see this fact: when I made Eliwood reach Level 20, I was surprised to see that he stopped receiving experience points, even if I use him to kill an enemy. That's very odd. :mellow:

I remember a saying in the game in which, Eliwood can't use the Heavenly Seal yet. He'll have to wait until the time is right. Maybe he'll morph in a few more chapters ahead.

Yeah, your main lord promotes automatically.

And level 20 is the max level that a character can get, and once they're promoted, they go back to level 1, but they keep their stats.

Ha ha! Eliwood finally morphed! So did Hector! Now I feel as if I have a powerful force but I still doubt if I would be able to defeat Negral. Poor Ninian--she never stood a chance to survive when she reached Eliwood. :(

You still have a while before you have to fight Negral. Don't worry about it that much, the battle isn't that hard.

I'd worry more about the Mamkute aka Dragon n_n

But trust me...FE7 is a pushover...

Hey, some of the morphs in the last battle can get pretty trick to beat.

He's an American Fire Embelm gamer...

FE7 is harder than most Gameboy Advance Games out in America...

So it's not that much of a surprise that he thought the morphs were hard.

I beat the game at last! :sc2link: The final chapter was somewhat hard but I managed to survive. I couldn't have made it if it hadn't been for Athos' help.

The epilogue was somewhat touching. I liked everyone in the game so much that it's hard for me to say farewells. What still lingers in my mind was of Athos' final words. I wonder what he meant by a new threat arising in the future. If anyone here knows of a sequel to this game available somewhere in the web, please drop me a link through private messages.

I'm eager to look forward to the next adventure. B)

FE7 was the prequel to FE6, which was only released in Japan.

Another update for Seima no Kouseki.

Mage Knights and Forest Knights are officially returning after a long missed abscence....

My only complaint is that they're really just a revamped Nomadictrooper and Valkyrie instead of the old units....

Wyvren Knights are official now and are a revamped version of the Dragon Knights, other new classes include Novice Fighter which promotes to Fighter and then to Hero.

Also Skills are back, confirmed skills so far are...

General- Big Shield
Wyvren Knights- Pierce
Sniper- Certain Hit
Assassin- Flickering Kill

Four new characters have been revealed as welll....
Hineas-Sniper
Assassin- Coma
Salef
Mirra

Umm...skills? What do you mean? (ie- General- Big Shield) What do those do?

And for some of the morphs in the last chapter being hard, I simply meant that they were way ahead of all the other ememies.

Skills are back? Fantastic. That's the best news I've heard about this game, period. I don't suppose there is art for those new characters, is there?

Only Salef and Mirra but quality was crappy so I didn't bother getting them....
Seems to be a mamkute one of them...

And skills was a system only in FE4/5 where some characters could get abilities unique to only them...

Big Shield is a returning skill from FE4/5 which Generals got which allowed them to randomly COMPLETELY block an attack.
It only activated occasionally but when it did it was sweet as you became impervious to any atks.

As for other skills they're new but we have good ideas what they'll be.

I'm wondering who are those new main characters in the next Fire Emblem adventure. To me, they looked like descendants of Eliwood and Lyndis.

They're not related at all.......

Its a different continent called Magi-Val and the Lords are called Ephram and Eirike.

Sety... do you have a link to the low quality art for Salef and Mirra? It may be low quality, but even so, it'd be nice to have a bit more to attach to the names.

Perhaps we're going to see Eliwood again in the next sequel? In his final words, Eliwood said he'd promised to see me again so maybe it's true?
