The girl on the horse has nearly the exact same sprite as Eliwood's promotion. v.v

Thats Eirika shes one of the new Lords of FE8.

Theres 2 main lords, Eirika and her twin brother Ephram, Eirika is a Lord and Ephram is a Spear Lord.

Ephraim is a god in that game...his growth, stats, everything, he is like the immortal FE unit. Anyways, my favorite character is Rath, on numerous FE boards I am known as "RaththeNomad" so you can tell I like him...

I absolutely love the art and character portraits from Seima no Kouseki. I haven't seen much of the art, but what I have seen is fantastic.

Someone at the FESS forums got a ton of the portraights taken. Last post on this page: http://s7.invisionfr...opic=3296&st=15

And careful, you might run into Sety over there ;)

TJ, FEP has great sprites, I am friends with the webmaster, they might have 6 people ripping for FE9 already...

Who knows...I just know it is FE9, thought it is actually going to be "Fire Emblem 2" in America. I thought that the game was too easy...Ephraim is almost TOO good.

Besides there will be no sprites for FE9 since its GCN exclusive.

Unless they come up with a pretty good GCN emulator soon...I mean I have seen ripped N64 sprites, so why not GCN...

Sprites are 2D images. Fire Emblem 9, the Gamecube one, is 3D. Therefore, no sprites.

Well, I guess they aren't considered sprites, but Great Deku Tree (the site) has OoT and MM sprites, they are called.

GDT's OoT "sprites" are just cropped screenshots of polygonal figures.

OoT does have some sprites, however. Look at the flowers, and some of the grass... they're 2D images. Sprites.

Problem is a GCN emulator is nigh impossible to make....bakcward disc reading isn't exactly the easiest thing in the world to emulate you know

Yeah I know, it would be pretty cool though...

Anyways, who are your favorite characters in FE? Mine are:

FE5-Galzus, Shiva, Leaf
FE6-Karel, Dayan, Rutger
FE7-Rath, Jaffar, Karel

So far in FE8, I like the Wyvern Lord, the evil one.

Hm...not much. FE-7: Eliwood, Jaffar, Marcus, Lyndis, Hector, Athos, Dorcas, Harken and Rath.

I like it when the Hero-type performs a critical hit. Cool move.

I like the assassin critical best...its just 00ber...the hero is also pretty cool, but the one that owns all is King Zephiel's critical, its like 35 frames...

Ephraim is awesome...even without his godly stats. And TJ...hate to break it to you, but thats not animated, and how can you make that sprite if it is game ripped?

What do you mean, how can I make a sprite if its game ripped? I'm pretty sure thats generaly how they're done. ^^;

You said its the first battle sprite you've made, so I thought it was custom. But nice animation for your 1st, speed up the frames a bit, and it will be near perfect.
