Granted, but with the very best already over and done with people realise that the rest of their lives will be a sad mediocrity. With nothing left to look forward to, suicide rates spiral wildly out of control, and those few who try to keep living sink so far into their despair that they can't be bothered to do anything. Soon, everyone in the world is dead, and it's all your fault.

I wish I could play the piano forte to a grade 8 standard, in both Classical and Jazz. With Distinctions in each Grade, except for Grade 2 Classical which has a merit. All grades are from the ABRSM.

In fact, so many have achieved the exact same grades that you have, that your piano skills go unnoticed and your talent becomes unwanted and dismissed as nothing special.
