I like these trophy assists. It's a good way to get a lot of cameos in and please a lot of fans without bloating the playable roster too much. Also they'll be an interesting strategy similar to Pokéballs.

When I try to use IE for ANYHING it blocks it. Someone turned on the content adviser and it blocks EVERYTHING. (even the default home page go.microsoft.com)

I'll be using Firefox for now. and anyway, I always have an IE tab.

Showsni, you'd be surprised to know how many people don't know about the acronym tag and its uses. Most people think you just post your messages with dotted underlining.

Oooooh! I could only see what you were on about by quoting your post. I don't see any dotted underlining though, so I don't see how I was supposed to know to hover my mouse over random words! XD

I don't see dotted underlines either, so the only way I can see it (which I only realised yesterday) is to hover the mouse over words and something may or may not appear.

Anyway, yay, the Combo Cannon gets involved in the battle. Knew it would. ^^ I can assure you though that the best thing about the Halberd stage will be the music. The Halberd themes in Kirby's Fun Pak are excellent.

Okay, the attachment shows what I see for those last posts by Masamune and Showsni. If you don't see any marking then it can be quite hard to recognize the 'acronyms' which are initially created so people read the meaning of an abbreviation. Apparently, most browsers are not well adept to visualizing them. It just such a mess the Internet.

The Halberd looks fine for all out melees..., I mean brawls. Don't know much about its background from the Kirby series though.

Well, IE doesn't get the underlining, but shouldn't cut the end off sentences.

The first sentence makes it look as if it's not Meta Knight's. Or not anymore...

I must try and regain all my trophies on Melee before Brawl comes out. I did have them all, before my memory card broke.

The first 280 are rather easy, they just cost a lot of time to collect all of them. As for Captain Olimar, Crazy Hand and Diskun Throphies that may be a bit harder. Especially in case of Olimar if you don't own Pikmin. I was lucky enough to be able to rent it somewhere. Good luck!

Wasn't the combo cannon supposed to have TWO arms? A higher one to grab with, and a lower one to throw bombs? At least that's how I thought it was in Kirby's Fun Pak...

Oohh... Todays update shows quite a few interesting things. The custom battle reminds me a bit of Melee, but this one allows for permanent items and statuses. So, Metal Box and the Bunny Hood return as well.

Ah, that's truely a wonderful thing to see. I was worried for a while that we wouldn't get the Ice Climbers, or any duo for that matter! And I must say, their outfits look phenomenal.
