But I like the series so far.
Howver the thing that bugs the pee out of me is the fact that some anime series can be like... several episodes long.
Like 100+.

That's crazy. I can understand and appreciate a stories's depth. But still...
That's a lot of story.

The manga has been pretty boring recently. Week after week of nothing but fighting. Does this manga even have a storyline any more? Is it all just a vehicle for chapter after chapter of people getting more powerful than each other?

I remember Bleach back when AnimeCentral used to air on Sky. They got up to the episode where Ichigo was training to become stronger than what's his name... the girl's brother (yeah, it's been that long). Then I stopped watching coz they stopped airing it.

Now that I think about it, though, Bleach kinda had some similarites to DBZ in terms of plot structure. It doesn't get worse in that respect does it? I can't stand how fights lasted several episodes in DBZ.

In their defense, they're completely acknowledging that people are going to be pissed, and asking them to be patient, so it's not like Naruto where it was all "Hey guys! Filler! Aren't you excited? This is gonna be awesome!"

Plus the fact that so far Bleach filler is pretty much as good as most normal anime series. Seriously. The Bounto arc could've worked as a 52 episode series in it's own right, methinkest.

The Bounto arc was decent, I'll give it that. However, the more I look back on it the more and more I cringe. It dragged on.

So I find myself watching the anime and reading the manga, switching off between the two. It's interesting.

It's pretty ridiculous. Imagine the most epic moment in DBZ, then increase it by a factor of ten and you have that finish.
