So about the current chapter in the Manga (Scans)

Poor Hitsugaya, he can't help but Worf himself.

Let's hope that he Worfs himself. That way the all vs. one aspect of the Aizen fight can be focused on. Also, I hope that Aizen finally kills a main character, as not a single good guy has died in Bleach so far. Another thing I'm hoping for is Hiyori either being too far gone for Unohana to save or at least still being in bad shape and out of the fight. Finally, what is Gin doing? He's just been floating there while everyone has been attacking Aizen.

While I have been keeping up with the manga, I haven't been too interested in Bleach. The pacing definitely needs to be improved, as it took over a year just to finish off the Arrancar in the false Karakura Town, and Aizen, Gin, Wonderweiss, and Yammy are still around. Tite Kubo, the creator of Bleach, has even said that this arc won't end until June, meaning that the end is hardly in sight. Hopefully some important, interesting things happen between now and the end of this arc, because sitting through six months of fighting after sitting through a year of the stuff will just be tedious.

Also, the backgrounds have more or less disappeared, as 4chan's /a/ board frequently points out. To be honest, I'm more interested in Kubo's trolling (as dubbed by /a/) than the actual plot.

I've always wanted Hitsugaya to die, and the LOADS AND LOADS of characters to get cleaned up, so I'm hoping Aizen cleans house and kills/badly injures everyone except the main five, so we can start proper, also, haven't all of the buildings in that area been destroyed by this point?

That said, Kubo's trolling has always made me laugh, but he hasn't YET topped Kenpachi's Bankai psyche out.

I suppose that is the advantage of watching the anime compared to reading the manga. The backgrounds are kinda non-existent but artistically that might not be such a bad thing.

So, Aizen has apparently been stabbed in the chest in the latest chapter of Bleach. If he actually dies from this the trolling will admittedly be too obvious, and I'm not certain if Kubo would try to please Hitsugaya's fan girls to such an extent either, even if Aizen lives. What's most likely is that the captains foolishly assaulted Ichigo, Yamamoto, etc. It'd be better for that to happen and be punishment for the captains, as the dumbasses knew perfectly well that Aizen could best them with Kyoka Suigetsu on a whim.

Also, how the hell is Kubo going to resolve the Wonderweiss and Yammy battles, and is Gin ever going to do anything? Heck, Kubo may even cut to one of the other two ongoing fights this week just to drag out the suspense of Aizen being stabbed.

Ugh. I was hoping that someone had brought this thread back to life with discussion of the anime, rather than the manga. XD Oh well.

I find manga with lots of fighting hard to follow and sort of boring, so I prefer to watch it after it's been animated. T_T

I will say, though... I totally thought this filler arc was supposed to be over...

... but the most recent episode was definitely a continuation of filler.

I do like the side arcs in Bleach, but I'm antsy to see more of the main storyline unfold before we take further detours. I don't want this zanpakutou arc to be another Bounto arc (the first season of Bounto was great, but extending it to a second season was kind of annoying). The Amagai filler was a good length. They should use it as their standard. XD

Kubo's probably banking on the fact that we supposedly see Aizen's thoughts, though we're probably seeing a combination of Aizen's thoughts and the mind of the poor sap who is being screwed over by Kyoka Suigetsu. Alternatively, "Who said Kyoka Suigetsu's hypnosis was limited to tricking the senses?"

How did Barragan's own respira work against him? It naturally comes out of his body, and he's a skeleton; there are no innards to take advantage of. Seeing as how the respira comes into contact with Barragan the moment it is created, why did teleporting the respira back at him have an effect? It really makes no sense; the respira was touching the spots that were already immune to it.

I think Aizen is meant to appeal to "The Asshole" in any group, because he won the Superpower Lottery, and is using it nigh exclusively to rain blood on everyone's parade.


In that sense, I love the guy.

To be fair, the captains walked straight into that, so they largely have themselves to blame.

While it was admittedly predictable, it was still great and in-character to see Aizen troll the fuck out of Hitsugaya. The fact that there won't be a new chapter next week just makes it sink in.

Okay, but I still don't see how that applies. The Respira, which destroys whatever it touches, was produced by every inch of Barragan's body. Making a small amount of Respira touch his ribs and spine shouldn't have had any effect, seeing as how Barragan displayed an immunity to it. It's not like the stuff was made by his skin and Hachi targeted his organs. Barragan's a skeleton; the Respira was just touching a part of him that already made Respira. I really don't see how his death made sense.
