That was done by the Japanese though, and I heard that it sucked.

Anyway, there's no way this can end well. Besides, Bleach's plot isn't even close to being finished yet.

They can easily do the first two arcs, and possibly leave room for sequels to finish the story.

It's highly unlikely that it'll match the original, but that doesn't mean it's going to be bad. Same thing with the Cowboy Bebop movie. Wait and see. Anime-to-live-action generally doesn't fare too badly. Deathnote was good, from all reports. It's the same as comic book movies, really. Some good, some not.

So, I was reading Bleach on Onemanga but now they are closing up shop. Anyone know of another place I can get newish scanlations? I really don't wanna lose Bleach, not when I feel this section (and possibly the whole thing) is so close to being finished.

I think it's possible that Gin and Rangiku are either siblings of some sort or one in the same person. The series keeps dancing around their relationship, but with the newest release, their zanpakto are disturbingly similar.

I used to be a huge fan of Bleach, but this series has let me down.
Serious disappointment. IMO, the Anime has gone to the dogs. Its boring now.
I stopped watching because it stopped adding to the manga and the fillers were pointless.
The manga itself has gotten me very upset now. Its become so drawn out and predictable it isn't funny
anymore... And what they've done to Aizen in the current manga...How low can they go?!

They turned him into a giant butterfly! And Ichigo's transformation was
expected and retarded. Like I said, predictable. For a main character in a series
he has to be one of the least developed characters ever..

Did they just try and pull a "nice job breaking it, hero" ? also, I'm hoping Aizen comes back as a villain for a later arc, because he really was my favorite character.

....And do we want to take bets on how long Ichigo's lack of power will last? Five issues is my current guess.

Basically that's what they did. I mean, Urahara put his kiddo in HOPING Ichigo would get the Hokokou (sp?) to reject Aizen? I don't buy it.

And, just for sake of variation, I'll go 6 issues. At least 1 for Urahara to explain... something. 2 for everyone to rejoin and rejoice. 3 for Ichigo to realize he's done. 4 for a new enemy (Soul King?) to emerge. 5 for enemy to start raping face and Ichigo hides. 6 Ichigo gets powers from Iishen.

I figure Ichigos dad has something to do with his power return, from what I can gather he was a fairly powerful shinigami himself till he lost his Engetsu from (what I can only assume was "The Final Getsuga Tenshou") but he managed to get his back. So I either figured that or Urahara was going to help him...again XD Which I hope the seal isn't the end of this. I wanna see Urahara fight and unleash his bankai o.o

Really, I don't think it's over. Aizen won't accept defeat and will probably retreat if Urihara really seals the Hokokou. (Like PA, I have no clue how to spell it.)

The conflict in Bleach isn't between Aizen and Ichigo. In a very real sense, while the Hokokou is a means to an end (killing the Soul King) for Aizen, Aizen himself is a means to a different end (bringing the humans, Shinigami, Vizards, and hollows together) for Ichigo. Yes, the conflict between Ichigo and Aizen has come to a head...apparently, but there are still a lot of loose ends; Nell has to be restored to her former self, and Arisawa needs to get trained so that SHE can kick some ass.

If I were an editor, I would INSIST on continuing Bleach. Not only is it still a money-maker, but this isn't a good and proper ending, either.

Aside from the fact that I think this series has TERRIBLE pacing and that half the things that happen are just kinda done half assed, the more recent developments have proven enjoyable despite certain characters being uber and what have you.

How many times has Aizen managed to not die? It has to be more than 6 at this point. And what of the others in Los Noches? There has been absolutely no mention of them for a while now. Seriously, maybe killing of half of the Gotei 13 was a good idea, that way the cast isn't so congested with fan service characters and other oddities. Although I have to give them props for how they did the Resurreccion for Tousen, it made you think Aizen and Gin were going to do that song and dance as well until you realize it isn't happening. Using the Hyogokou as a plot device generator was also rather clever, it resolves a lot of the things I felt were just thrown in there to be 'interesting' (Orihime and Sado's powers, Rukia's body problems in the beginning). I personally hope Gin manages to live (doubtful at this point), I've grown rather fond of that character recently.
