I've skipped ahead to the latest manga pages to see what would happen in the future. But then I got a question. How many chapters do you think go into making one episode?

in my opinion one episode is basically 1/2 of the manga book
ex. episode one is the first half of the manga book and episode 2 is the last half..so forth and such

In the Anime:

It seems Grimmjaw and Ichigo are going to fight again. I'm looking forward to this.

I started watching Bleach last week. I've almost watched all the way through season two. How many seasons are there right now? I'm seriously lacking; I've only got episodes 1-63 so I've got some work to do tracking down the rest. XP

There are several webistes and webrings that host the series, so don't fret. As of now, there are 167 episodes in the series, so you'll have a fun time watching them all. Although, you're probably better off skipping the Bound filler arc altogether. It's OK, but the main story is better.

*blink* Okay, possibly stupid question here! I've watched eeeeeeeeverything I can find, and I still can't find anything around episode 170 or further. Does this mean I'm caught up? Is Dattebayo holding out on us with the fansubs or is 168 actually the last episode currently in existence?

*hides*

This is really a terrible feeling. XDD I'm going through withdrawals... to the point where I actually started watching it from the beginning again just in case I missed something the first time. :P

So, what do you guys think about the new filler arc?

Spoiler : click to show/hide
Ignoring the obvious weirdness with the time, it looks like the story might actually be decent.

Not dead sure. Judging from what the intro credits show it looks to be yet another time we get to watch Ichigo save someone.... First Rukia, then Orohime, and now...new girl...

I hope I'm wrong, but if I'm right I say three times of basically the same script is enough. Come. Up. With. A. New. Script.

In other matters, I want to make a sig GIF out of Ishida's new machine-bow. That was awesome. (I only have a slight case of hero-worship of Ishida.)

Why the filler arc now? They have plenty of material from the manga to still use.

Spoiler : click to show/hide
Just becuase Grimjaw is dead doesn't mean everything is resolved

Is Grimmjow really dead? I've heard lots of people (manga readers, that is) say that he isn't dead yet... that it was too anticlimactic of an end to such an important character.

I don't think it's "the same storyline" for Ichigo to save Rukia, then Orihime... he's the hero of the series; that's what tv heroes do; they save people repeatedly.. XD

Aaaaand... I could deal with this filler being a flashback (isn't that what we decided it was?), but what's with Ishida's bow? He still has the one he got for Hueco Mundo...

Probably happened just before Orihime's kidnapping. Or something like that. My philosophy is, don't think too hard about it and you'll enjoy the story much more.

(watch episode 170 before clicking... I dunno how spoilery this is)
Spoiler : click to show/hide
What do you guys think of Lurichiyo and her friends? Other than the fact that she looks like Hitsugaya... XDDDDD I kinda like her, and I'm starting to like her attendants, now that they're being less asshattey towards Ichigo. I was also amused by Ichigo actually voicing the questions I had about how long it took everyone to realize that Rukia was that Kuchiki, and how Lurichiyo was from that Kasumi-Oji clan... XD I was also amused that they didn't answer. :P

The assassin was a little crazy with that weird reflective zanpakuto.. I'm excited to see what the swords of the other assassins do.

I was hoping to see more of the new captain in this episode... he really reminds me of my form and analysis teacher (he's the director of the music school and he's the most ridiculously laid-back person I've ever met).. alas. XP

yeah, the bodyguards still kinda piss me off with their stupidness (seriously, if you want someone's help, you don't insult them, no matter how low rank they are, and especially when they could most likely kill you in a fight that would probably only last a few minutes) but Lurichiyo is pretty funny.

I haven't been watching as much of the anime as of late, but I haven't been reading the manga either. I think I'll just be Bleach-less until the actual story gets back on track.

Dude, the fillers are pretty good. Don't cheat yourself out of a decent story. It's not amazing like the normal story is, but it's still better than most normal anime stories.

Yeah... I don't even notice the Bleach filler as being filler, most of the time. There are a few inconsistencies with the regular storyline, but the filler's good.

Ok. So I have a question, and you had to have watched episode 183? for this.

Is Amagi (the new captain) going to be a main-ish charicter or was he invented for the filler?

I liked the flashback chapters recently. Nice to get a break from all the fighting. Or, well, quite so much fighting...
