Didn't they show ep119 with clips showing it was an Ikkaku episode in 118's preview?

Aaah! What happened to the thread people?! Keep the thread alive!

So yes, Bleach 123. I chigo accepted training from the Vizards and it looks like there's going to be a sweet fight between Ichigo and his inner Hollow. I'm following the manga so I already know what's going to happen but I'm happy to see it animated. 124 looks good.

What do you guys think this week?

This might actually top the Zaraki fight. Of the series so far, 3 fights are the most awesome so far, first was the first Byakuya/Ichigo fight (more of a slaughter actually) (where Ichigo got pwned by flash step) then was the Ichigo Zaraki fight (number one in my book) and then the Ichigo/Grimmjow fight. Somehow the fights where he gets beaten are generally more awesome than those where he wins.

In any case, the look of shock on the faces of the Vizard when Ichigo finally went hollow was classic. I've been waiting for him to really let loose with his reiatsu since . . . the Zaraki fight actually. I hope they've remembered that, though everyone always ridicules him for not being good at controlling reiatsu output, he's actually suppressing about the same percentage as everyone else, he just has that much more. Also, I don't quite understand why Ichigo's also always being bagged out for his inability to sense reiatsu when he was able to see the spirit threads which even Rukia couldn't. [/rant]

Can't wait for the next episode.

This series is getting really exciting, although I sense a real major point in the story is coming up. Something really. . . well not good for the heroes.

Finally, the light of resolve lights Ichigo's eyes. This, this is what's been lacking from the battles. Next episode can't come soon enough to suit me.

That was disappointing. One move and it was over. He weren't so tough after all. However the sheer amount of exposition almost made up for it. And the montage at the end was awesome.

Training episodes are always entertaining at least. I actually jsut read the first two volumes of manga. I never realized Orihime's crush on Ichigo was so much more pronounced in it.

This anime is great! I never thought that I'd watch any ongoing, long anime aside from Naruto, but this one is worth the time and effort.

Is anyone still watching Bleach? I haven't really been watching it because of the fillers but I have been reading the manga.

Spoiler : click to show/hide
Hopefully the Ichigo/Grimmjow rivalry is resolved now, what with the arrival of Noitora.

I'm still watching it. At least it was a short arc, looks like this weeks episode should be back to normal. The fillers weren't too uber bad either. Not bleach, but still not bad.

Oh, is the new chapter out?
*downloads*

I'm getting pretty sick of constant fighting, to tell the truth... Sure, a bit of backstory is thrown in to make it more interesting, but it's basically chapters and chapters of two people slogging at one another, getting more and more powerful with each hit.

Yeah the fighting can get long. The only one who I was looking forward to was Ichigo (and to a smaller degree Chad and Ishida)to see his progress as his Vizard training wasn't making any progress.

Also I hoped Ichigo would just take Inoue and pick up the others but I should've known that the Espada wouldn't let them go, especially Noitora as he has this thing about being the strongest and his sensing strong reiatsu signatures (which turned out to be Icigo and Grimmjow).

I've still been watching Bleach. However, this thead has been dead for some time, so I haven't gotten the chance to post here too much. I kinda want Bleach to hurry back up to the action, the small filler episodes are getting annoying.

MORE FRICKIN' FILLER. Just when I thought the series was going to get back to the actual story. How dare they raise our hopes with a title like that and then dash them with crappy animation and plot.

Blame Studio Pierrot. (That's because I think they're the animators IIRC) But I'm not sure how the process works so it's either one or the other.

I read that the last filler ep is on the 29th August, and that Bleach will go back to the main storyline the week after. (5th September)

Until then, let us enjoy the meaningless filler.

Or just watch Naruto: Shippuden.
