[Mystic Kitsune]

He guided her to Steel's body. Which was laying in the same place as where Kitsune had left him.

"He...helped fix a error in my past. He took great wounds during the battle...because I couldnt help him on time."

He turned to Motoko, with a slight hint of sadness in his eyes.

"You think you can heal him? I know his eyes wont come back...but at least the heart slash..."

"I........don't know if I can...." Or if I'm able to.... "....but I'll try." She then kneeled beside Steel's side. Almost instantly, Motoko saw dark spirits coming toward him. Nani?? She reached out to the spirits and they descintegrated before her eyes. Steel's chest wound healed up, leaving a large scar, and he started breathing heavily

"Keh. Well hes awake. Lets go." Kitsune said turning around to walk off.

"I dont want him thinking that Im going soft on him. Keh!" He mumbled as he walked off.

Hmph. Now to deal with those Laz ninjas who mustve got lost within the caves somewhere. Or they were hiding and waiting for us to beat the dark one. It doesnt matter, I can handle them anyway...

He was back in the cave, scanning for the ninjas...

Something told Motoko to be wary of the darkness. She sharted to shiver as she peered into the caverns while walking back to the others

"Ah yes. Motoko, you should go tend to your fallen father as well..." He said noticing the unconsious body of Gabriel...

He signalled to Ken and Germanlink that everything was alright. He was wondering how Perseus was doing on the outside though...

Z stopped moving mid-way through the cave, just ahead of Kitsune and Motoko. He sensed the presence of people blending in with the shadows.

"Those accursed ninja's again..." Z thought. "How did they find out that I was here so quickly?" Z then noticed Kitsune, Motoko and their friends approaching from behind, completely unaware of both him and the ninjas. "Hmph. I don't think the half-breed is convinced that my power has returned... I'd wager he still thinks that I'm still a weakling. Perhaps a little show and tell will change that..."

Z waited until Kitsune and Motoko got close enough to see. The ninjas were about to strike them. Just as the ninjas leapt from the darkness, Z rose from the ground in his human form and drew his Spike Chain. Using the dark energy-charged chain, he swept it around the cavern, causing it to wrap around every ninja in sight. Since the chain was full of darkness, Z could control where it went with a mere thought. "Looking for me? At least you completed some of your mission before you died..." Z said in a sinister tone.

He then sent out his dark energy along the very long chain, causing the wounds from it to get much worse. Dark energy seeped into the wounds, causing the ninja's bodies to swell. Eventually, they exploded in a show of blood, gore, and dark energy. Blood and tattered organs quickly filled the walls, stopping just short of Kitsune and Motoko. His chain retracted back to him; he was covered in the blood, but he didn't seem to care. His crimson eye shifted to Kitsune. "Just in case you didn't believe me when I said my power wasn't being drained by the blade..." Z said, returning to the ground and flowing away as a shadow once again, the blood flowing off of him when he did so.

Motoko was devestated. She has never seen so much blood in her life or something so utterly demonic than the action of Z. She then fell to her knees and started crying again, this time for the wouls of the fallen ninjas

"Keh. Show off." Kitsune mumbled as he turned to Motoko.

"What are you crying about? He just did us a favor, better than us having to kill them, eh?" He said.

It wasnt helping. She was still crying.

"*sigh* If I were to burry them, or whats left of them, would you stop crying? Oh come on...they were going to kill us anyway!" He said, starting to get a bit annoyed...

"They didn't have to die........... At least not like that...." Motoko managed to say through her tears

"Perhaps that will inspire fear into those fools... but how did those ninja's locate me so quickly? Whoever is behind this, it had better not be who I think it is... I wasn't hoping for a reunion so soon... Z thought as he finally left the cave and possessed a pirate, making him carry on as if nothing just happened. He possessed his whole body just to make sure he wouldn't give Z away.

Ken was standing with sword in hand. He watched the slaughtering of the Laz ninjas with horror, falling to the ground when he felt he would throw up.

The boy had completely tired himself out. His aura which had burned so brightly on his sword had quickly faded with the strike he made to Z. Ken laid on the ground, breathing heavily as his spirit recovered from the technique. He attempted to get up, and wound up finding himself falling to his knees again.

"Damn... I will not be weak again..." the boy said through gritted teeth, his body shaking from strain as he brought himself up again.

"L-let's get out of here...." she said and shakily walked toward the way they had came in frim

"Motoko-chan...what about Gabriel?" He said looking back in the direction of where they had fought Z.

"...Keh. I guess she can catch up later. We could got out this way, to the hidden beach..." he said pointing toward the broken door.

"But, if you insist on going this way, I have no complaints."

I think 4 or 5 have gone by since I last posted in this...sorry guys but I'll have to say that Lena stayed on the ship, waiting until the next segment comes up to bring her back in, there's too much that's happened for me to catch up now.

Perseus leaned against a branch in the far heights of the Forsaken Fortress, concealed by an overhanging ledge, he was waiting for the others to emerge from the cave.
It had been at least 4 hours now, how deep could this cave be? Or were they already dead? Did the ninja’s intercept his message?

He couldn’t be sure, and he was getting curious, very curious.

he started to play with his newly acquired arsenal.
He now had a bow and two ornate knives he had taken from the captain of the alliance ship that attacked them. his quiver was also packed full of good strong barbed arrows. The Forsaken Fortress had good quality stuff.

He twirled the knives in his fingers as he continued to wait, bored of nothing happening.

[Steel Samurai]

Steel opened his now-sightless eyes. Darkness. It seemed as though his wounds had been healed though. He ran his fingers down the long, thick scar which now ran diagonally across his chest. Their [the fingers] sensitivity had been more than that an average humans before, but with his sight gone it seemed as though his other senses had not only made up for it, but compensated 10-fold. In later times, Steel wondered whether it had been the result of being cut in such a sensitive place by the blade of illusion, or whether it was simply another result of his birth-sign genetic encoding.

Steel got unsteadily to his feet. It was strange . . . it was almost as if he could [i]feel[/f] the objects around him. And the smells were incredibly heightened as well. Steel sensed the pulsing energies of the portal some 5 meters away. He walked towards it, until he felt its coolling energies surround him, and he was whisked down to the beach once more.

Steel walked slowly down the beach. He had learned much already in the few minutes he had had to rely wholly on his senses, but still would not trust himself to run. He gradually approached the now-shattered door and stepped slowly through it, sensing Kitsune and Motoko on the other side. The light energy coming from Motoko seemed to be the same as the residue on his chest.
"Thank-you, girl, for healing me." He said, and bowed respectfully.

"Y-you're welcome, s-sir." Motoko was feeling a bit on edge. Even though she did heal him, like he said, she didn't know how she did or what those dark spirits were. All she knew was that she'd rather not see them ever again. She then walked to where Gabriel lay and scooped her father up into her arms

Walking around and minding his own business in the body of the possessed pirate, Z sensed energy.

Light energy.

Z was repulsed; he sensed a fair amount of light power nearby. It obviously wasn't from Motoko, Gabriel or the Kaze-Dao. Z stopped for a moment and tried to sense where it was coming from. His eyes were directed to a ledge on the fortress. Z scanned his host's mind for the directions, and went up to the ledge. He saw the source of the energy; the angel Perseus, sitting on a tree. He hid behind the doorway to the ledge so Perseus wouldn't see him.

Z thought for a moment. "What should I do with this one? The amount of light magic in his body could become a great threat for me later... but, is he even aware of me?" Z thought. "He must've seen the ninjas enter the cave... perhaps he knows of me. Someone with that much light energy will be driven to stop me; I'd better eliminate him now before he becomes an immediate threat."

Z drew the katana that this pirate had and stepped onto the balcony to get ready. Unfortunately, the slow reflexes of this pirate worked against him; he tripped over a barrel and fell down flat on his face, cursing aloud at his misfortune. There was no doubt that Perseus heard him fall and swear. Worse yet, his katana was drawn; his dark energy and identity may be masked by the pirate's body, but his intentions were obvious.

Kitsune smiled as he saw Steel thank Motoko.

Without saying much, he proceeded back to the starting of the cave, now illuminated.

My buisness here is done... He said looking down at his new blade...

He exited the cave, into the sunlight.

Motoko, with her father still in her arms, walked back onto the ship they came on, the Taro, and down to the lower decks where she put her onto one of the beds. She then walked back up and leaned on the side of one of the upper cabins, where she slid down to a sit and looked out to sea

He eyed Motoko go back on the ship. Why she did? He doesnt know. He now just needed Ken to get them out of the fortress.

And he needed to wait for Perseus. Wherever he was...

Too much fighting.... I can't take it anymore.... Motoko thought as she hugged her knees to her chest and layed her head on her arms

Kitsune approached Motoko...with the Kaze-dao in his hand. He was hoping it may in some strange way, comfort her. It was, after all, related to her.

He didnt want to say anything right now, he was going to speak more on violence, and why it can be used for good, but he knew she wouldnt understand.

He just sat next to her and looked off in the distance...

She saw Kitsune sit down out of the corner of her eye. That alone comforted hat a little. She wanted to say something and was about to...........but then she silently fell asleep. Both the physical excursions and the mental had exhausted her

Kitsune carried her and placed her on a different bed. He stood there looking at her innocent face while she slept.

He walked back off the ship quietly, to go and search for Perseus...

Z tried to move, but he couldn't for some reason. He could clearly see the ground below, but then he realized that the pirate couldn't. He was out cold. Z's heart sank; when someone he is possessing is knocked out, his body is forced to leave. Perseus will sense his presence for sure.

"Gah, this isn't going very well..." Z thought. He knew he had to leave, so he decided to make his attack quick. He emerged from the pirate's body, quickly picked up the pirate's katana and jumped high in the air at Perseus when his back was turned.
