Aiden stood silently on the deck of the Taro, waiting for the others to return in hopes they could leave as soon as they arrived. Aiden was itching to be out on his own again. This idiotic vow to protect Ken was not his concern. Ayden's loyalties were nothing.
Before long Aiden was sitting, polishing the dark blade that reflected his own thoughts. If he could have, he would have killed everyone on board and sailed away long ago, however, neither half of him knew enough to sail the ship alone, despite how much they had learned.
For now he would just have to wait.

Perseus flexed his wings, enjoying the warm sunlight.
He looked at the sun.
Just imagine if I could absorb power from that thing, I’d be like, invincible. What the heck is it anyway? I can’t believe I go around every day ignoring the flaming ball of doom that’s hanging in the sky… and by what? Stuff doesn’t just hang?
I suppose the earth just hangs too… I wonder if anyone else would believe me if I told them it was round? Or at least a convex disc… too bad I cant hold my breath long enough to fly higher than that…
Man… I’m bored.
He heard a pirate trip far down below.
clumsy pirates…
He gave a quick backwards glance.
Looks like he’s unconscious. Heh heh.
10 seconds later, Z leapt up behind Perseus.
Perseus sensed him immediately…. somehow.
“?” Perseus said, flipping around to see an enraged Z ready to strike, sword above his head, coming right at him.
Perseus had a split second to dodge, and he barely used it, leaning back as the sword sliced downwards, coming within inches of his nose.
Perseus let himself fall backwards off the branch, so that he could fly to a safe position to asses hi enemy.
Z landed on the ground nearby, looking up at Perseus, who was hovering,
Perseus spoke, “Where’d you come from? and are you having fun on the ground?”
first I’ll test his speed.
Perseus swiftly pulled out his bow, and shot an arrow, (still hovering), straight for Z’s heart.

Z effortlessly dodged the arrow; now that the Bake-Dao was no longer draining his power, he not only had his strength back, but his speed as well.
"Honestly, arrows? A tad to predictable..." Z taunted. He jumped high in to the air, scaling the tree branches and was about to slash Perseus. Seeing he was about to dodge, Z scanned his body to see where he would go. Z smirked.

Perseus watched as Z swiftly sidestepped his Preliminary arrow shot, already launching a counterattack by using the tree to reach Perseus.
"Honestly, arrows? A tad to predictable..."
Z was already in the air about to strike Perseus.
Perseus went to dodge, but realised that he had no chance with his current limited mobility. So instead he quickly whipped out his knives, blocking the attack by a hairsbreadth.
Both Z and Perseus descended rapidly, driven down by the forceful attack.
im almost helpless flat on my back… damnit.

Z snickered. He backed off, falling at a slower rate than Perseus now. He then threw the pirate's katana at Perseus like a boomerang (just in the respect that it is spinning in the air, not like a Boomerang that will return to him), aimed straight for Perseus' chest.

He decided to proceed to the fight scene, he loved to tease the dark one anyway.
"Keh...I have nothing better to do anyway." he mumbled to himself as he walked toward the battle.
Besides, Perseus could easily live until I get there...he was pretty skillful fending off the LegendsAlliance ship crew...
He stopped for a second.
...dammit. With my help...
Realising this, he rushed off to Perseus...

He tracked a scent to a feather. He looked up from the feather to see where the battle was going on.
He rushed to the scene...

"I am not weak... I am not weak..." he muttered under his breath over and over.
Walking up the plank extending from the dock, Ken looked around the deck of the ship, only seeing Aiden.
The other pirates must have gone off drinking... he thought to himself.
Ken brought himself to the wheel, pulling out a few maps and other such items. Since convincing a crew to have him be their captain had failed so far, the boy decided to commandeer the Taro. He was under the admiral's orders anyway, and this was the only way he could carry them out. He looked over the maps again. Ken originally thought it take at least a week to reach his destination, but investing in a few charts found his journey cut down to a couple days.
The boy wanted the ship to be as ready as possible, and went to check the cargo holds to see that there would be enough. betweenHowever, his stamina has still faltering, and he tumbled down the short lenght of stairs leading to the main deck. Ken tried to stand up again mumbling, "Not weak... not weak... Not a liability again..."
The boy leaned up against the wood, holding onto a small ledge. He closed his eyes and caught his breath before opening them again. He looked at Aiden, knowing it was not Ayden becuase he saw the difference in the way acted, and just from sensing a different vibe. Aiden looked up from polishing his blade to see the noise Ken had made. For a short moment, the two made direct eye contact. The boy knew the threat that Aiden was, but calmed his fear by knowing that the darker one still had a reason for him to be alive, and that Ayden kept him in check regardless.

Z looked down at where the sword landed; it was wedged in the ground... directly in front of Kitsune. "What in blazes is the half-breed doing here?" Z thought, landing on the ground on his feet with a crash.

Aiden continued to polish the blade, still glaring as Ken walked by. The boy was weak at the moment, wouldn't put up much of a fight anyway. As easy as it would be to just kill him now, he'd save that death for later.
"Welcome aboard." Were his only words.

"Argh! Ya got some nerves messin' with us, boy!" one pirate yelled.
"Aye, that's right! You been... er, what's it called... whatever! Ya been doin' it to many of our crew!" another pirate yelled. Many other pirates yelled similar things among insults to Z. Now it was obvious; Z had possessed many pirates from the Forsaken Fortress, since they were all over the place. The ones he possessed must have told the others, and now they had him surrounded. They want revenge on him. Z could only laugh hysterically.
"Yes, that's right. It was I who possessed so many of your crew. You fools happened to serve me quite well when I was getting treasure. If you have grievences about it, then come and try to settle them if you dare!" Z taunted, after laughing. His attitude was only infuriating the pirates further. Z reached under his cloak, about to draw his spike chain...

The sword whooshed past, cutting a slash on one of his wings as it did so.
Perseus cried out in pain, almost convulsing. (wings are very sensitive)
Kitsune jumped in, challenging Z.
Then the pirates came, almost a hundred of them, surrounding the three, obviously angry.
The pirates argued with Z, declaring their hate for him.
“…then come and try to settle them if you dare!" Perseus heard him say.
The pirates Angrily converged on Z, practically ignoring Kitsune and Perseus.
Perseus righted himself, and broke of free of the throng, starting to check the damage done to his wing.
He looked to see Kitsune also escaping the battle, seeing no point in useless slaughter.
“So should we stop him, or leave?” Perseus asked.

That did it; the pirates were officially ticked off. They all charged at Z, who drew his spike chain. It circled around Z and blocked the pirate's path to him. Some looked in horror at the chain. Then, like with the Laz Ninjas, the ridiculously long chain violently whipped around and ensnared at least twenty of the pirates, lifting them into different points of the air. The pirates looked on in horror, their numbers clearly thinned out. Z also noticed Kitsune watching from afar.
Z smiled at the half-demon, who knew what was about to happen. Z sent his dark energy through his spike chain, and the wounds to the pirates caused by the spikes began to eject dark energy into their bodies. Eventually, they exploded in the same horrific fashion as the Laz Ninjas, blood and gore being sent everywhere. Z's chain lowered down to him. Smiling and sinisterly, he said, "Who wants to be next?"
The pirates, scared to death and covered in blood, ran for their lives. Z laughed hysterically as he went into his Shadow Form. "Let that be a warning to you, angel. If you dare to oppose me, your fate will be very similar to that of these deceased..."
He sunk away into the ground, invisible, possessing one of the running pirates; the others were too preoccupied running to notice. He boarded the Taro, since he needed a way to get back to the mainland. He noticed that several people had not left the ship, and that is was getting ready to leave. This ship was being stolen by the one who were seeking the Kaze-Dao, so rather than be kicked off, he hid in the cargo hold. No one would find him, and Perseus wouldn't sense him in this body. He drifted off into sleep...

"Let that be a warning to you, angel. If you dare to oppose me, your fate will be very similar to that of these deceased..."
he then disappeared, leaving Perseus and Kitsune alone with 25 dead men.

He noticed something odd...the blood and gore, they were coming back together, as if something were pulling them back together, to their old bodies.
"Perseus...this is a result of corruption...theyre coming back as the un-dead, and seek revenge on the one who killed them..."
He saw Perseus getting ready to attack them.
"Wait, I just said, theyre going for him...theyre stronger than before, and are now immune to anything dark..."
Keh! It only takes a spec of light to kill them. But that show off is going to have some trouble...and if he does win, I get the right to tease him in the next fight.
Kitsune chuckled to himself as he saw the army of un-dead pirates heading for the ship, weapons armed, and out for blood.
"In the meantime, Perseus, we should get your wings healed...or do you self heal? Like me?" Kitsune said as the army kept marching onwards.
He saw Perseus looking a little nervous, he understood, his friends were on that ship.
"Dont worry about them, theyre all going to find the dark one, and hes going to be in for a suprise...Keh. They will rest once they are purified or when they kill the one that killed them..."
Realising it would be useless if anyone else killed them. Even Aiden has Ayden, which is his spec of light...
"Perseus. Use a magic arrow, and deliver the following note: 'Army of Dead approaching, not targetting you, do not interfere."
Perseus nodded and did so, with the arrow hitting the wall right next to where Motoko and Gabriel were sleeping.
This is going to be intresting... Kitsune thought as he proceeded back to the ship behind the army...

This happened before in his old village of Sinios, where he became what he was. He destroyed the whole village in his rage, even the innocents. And those innocents became zombies that were immune to anything dark, much like now. However, the zombies had one flaw: light. However, this did not serve Z well; he couldn't stand light anymore than the zombies.
Z sighed and reached for the pirate's katana, which was gone. Then he remembered; this pirate drew his sword when he was threatening Z before. He reluctantly left the pirate's body and drew his sword, which was almost the size of a halberd. He listened; the pirates were at the door. He ran at the door and kicked it down, knocking down a couple of zombies. He then picked the door up with his free hand. "Allow me to show you the door, you hellbent freaks!"
Z began battering zombies with the door, then slashing them with his huge sword. But it was pointless, however; the pirates just reformed. Z, whilst avoiding attacks, started thinking of how to best dispose of these accursed fiends...

His dark blade moved swiftly, not even giving off the flash of light a normal blade would have. In a mere moment, Aiden had dashed through the crowd, slicing through the undead bodies in a flurry of attacks that woud annihilate even the most battle tested soldier of the Legend's Alliance army.
As Aiden skidded to a stop behind the group he turned to watch his favorite part... the bodies falling to pieces.
Instead he saw the group trudging on, no missing limbs, no still bodies. Only dark gashes where his sword had cut, and a dark force holding them together.
Ayden laughed from deep inside. ^Even you should know better than that. Shadow on shadow... what did you expect?^
^But it should have destroyed their flesh.^ Aiden said, still trying to discard his disbelief.
^It did. Those pieces are only connected by some dark energy. You just better hope you didn't envoke their wrath.^

Z saw Aiden stop in front of him. "Are you so dense?" he taunted. He sensed something odd in this individual. "There is more than one soul in this one... how very strange... he thought, but then returned to the matter at hand.
Aiden's position was rather inconvienient. Z planned to jump over the zombies and lead them outside, the only problem being that Aiden now stood where Z was going to jump from. He glared at the boy and tried jumping over the zombies, but stopped short; a zombie grabbed his leg and threw him into the pile "Darn you, swordsman!" Z shouted to Aiden, who didn't seem to care.
Z suffered some brutal punches and slashes, then turned into his Shadow Form to get out of the crowd. He came back up and ran outside, the zombie hoard hurriedly following him; they created quite the unholy racket. "That's it... keep following me..."
(Consider "when" said, Gabe. That noise had to wake at least one of your characters up...)

He saw Z, leading them...somewhere.
Oh? So hes actually thinking now? Kitsune thought.
I guess Ill turn things up a notch. He took out the Kaze-dao, and it transformed into the giant blade in his hands.
He produced at Kaze-no-Kizu, directly in front of Z's path.

The zombies jumped at Z, either passing through him or just falling into the sea. The light reflecting off the sea tore the zombies apart when the touched the water. Z then hovered back onto the ship and turned back into his human form, glaring at Kitsune. "I could've done the same thing without you blowing me off the ship, you meddlesome half-breed! Why did you do that!?" Z complained.

Well. That took longer than I thought it would...but it helped me realize one thing...
Kitsune looked at Aiden.
He shows no sign of light currently, if he could not inflict any damage on them...
It was this factor that worried him for his companions' health. He could easily fight back, but he wasnt to sure about the rest of the crew.

Motoko was standing in a field. Kitsune was fighting Z on front of her, his Kaze-Dao was drawn. She, on the other hand, was holding a longbow and had a fairly large quiver of arrows strapped to her back. Everyone else was out of sight and the ground was drenched in blood. Suddenly, she saw Z raise his blade and strike Kitsune down.
"NOOOOOO!!!!!!!" she screamed as she ran to her love's side. Before she could do anything else, Z struck her down as well.
She then woke up with a long scream and started crying Was it a dream........?? Or was it a premonition to what is to come.......? she thought.
The Kaze-no-kizu was heard from abovedeck.
Motoko quickly crawled out of bed and ran up the stairs to see what was going on

Z was wondering what was going to happen now. The ship was already adrift too far from the Forsaken Fortress; even in his Shadow Form, he couldn't fly that far. Worse yet, he couldn't swim. He was stuck on the boat with Kitsune and his friends.
Z then felt a major surge of pain all over his body, He fell over with a crash so hard that the deck dented as a result of his heavy weapons. Z had been completely ignoring his wounds from today; a big mistake. Not only that, the last few moments had been stressful on both his powers and his mind.
"Well, if I'm stuck here, I may as well get some rest..." Z mumbled, about to fall asleep again and allowed his dark energy to heal him. He didn't seem to care the slightest bit about where he was falling asleep.

"So what. The anchors gone, you killed more then enough pirates to steal this ship anyway. You should be thankful we have Ken here with us."
Kitsune smiled, even if the annoying sea smell was getting to his head. We were at sea, away from the accursed fortress, he didnt care, he got what he came for, resolved his sins, and left.
"Keh! So where to next? I saw we go back to the mainland." Kitsune said.
I am SICK, and TIRED of this sea! I hate water! I just want to see land again. Even if it is a desert. I hate being stuck on islands.

He eyed Kitsune, confident it would be an amusing fight, but he finally sheathed the sword knowing they would destroy the ship long before the fight was over.
Aiden was sure that everyone who had seen that display knew about his darker half and knew that he was in charge. Word would spread soon enough to the rest. Aiden had to be cautious.

Through tear-stained eyes, which the sea air had irritated, Motoko could see Kitsune, Z and Ken. She also noticed that Ayden had a darker aura than the last time she saw him and a different look in hie eyes. What she didn't notice was that the ship had floated away from the Fortress.
"Kit-kun!" she cried and rushed in for a glomp
