And Selena, according to the whole forgiveness thing, it is during this life that you get your chances. Infinite chances. But when it's over, it's over. No more chances. You choose your fate, so you take it.

God created hell for Satan and the unbeleivers of earth. The only way to prevent going to hell is accept Jesus Christ as your savior. God gives every human on the earth to get the chance to accept Jesus as your savior. The thing is that a lot of people don't wanna beleive in it. God wants everyone to know the truth before dieing and getting screwed.
What about some tribesman in like Central Africa that has no access to the outside world and is not exposed to the doctrine of Christ? They had no chance in their life and because of the circumstances in which they were born they could have HIV since they were born and lead an extremely short life with NO chance of receiving the gospel. What happens to them? That doesn't sound like they had a chance. Just curious what you think, not inciting a flame war.

I don't have the answers, because I am finite. But I do know that "all things work together for good for those who love God and are called according to his plan and and purpose"

So if we believe in your God, no matter how many sins we commit we'd go to Heaven? Sounds like a gimmick for the weak minded to me.
So long as you are truly and honestly repentant for said sins. What exactly a sin is, I cannot say; that's something you have to work out for yourself abiding by your own moral values.

Sorry, but that isn't how it works. Anyone who is saved will hate sin, and will thus turn away from sinful lifestyles. The process of sanctification is usually slow, but anyone who becomes a Christian will abandon his sins.

I suppose that you could not sin at all and avoid hell too... But that would be very hard to do.

Not quite true I'm a Christian, yet out of anger and depression I said terrible things to God (venial sin). So now I'm screwed...Being a Christian cannot stop Satan nor can it purge you of original sin.

Funny, I hadn't even seen your question, but I was gonna ask about the same thing as you were. XDMy question still hasn't been answered directly...
Where there are places in the world that know nothing about western religion, is it their fault for not believing? Are they going to hell for not believing in and following God's rules- simply because they don't know what those rules or this god are? What if they live in a place so basely concentrated on surviving in the same way that they have for thousands of years that they don't even really know what law is, let alone disobediance of law?
And that goes into one of the most controversial questions of our own culture- if a child dies before they are old enough to accept Christ and fully understand the meaning of accepting him, will that child go to hell for being an unbeliever?

Hitler wasn't christian though. So, Bond, are you expecting Hitler to great you once you get to Heaven?
Christianity is a rebellion against natural law, a protest against nature. Taken to its logical extreme, Christianity would mean the systematic cultivation of human failure."
"Christianity is an invention of sick brains: one could imagine nothing more senseless— A negro with his taboos is crushingly superior to the human being who seriously believes in transubstantiation."
"Christianity is the worst of the regressions that mankind can ever have undergone, and it is the Jew who, thanks to this diabolic invention, has thrown him back fifteen centuries.
Theres more, but I really don't like to quote Adolf Shicklegrubber."It is a great pity that this tendency towards religious thought can find no better outlet than the Jewish pettifoggery of the Old Testament; for a religious Folk who, in the solitude of winter, continually seek ultimate light on their religious problems with the assistance of the Bible, must eventually become spiritually deformed. The wretched Folk strive to extract truths from these Jewish chicaneries, where in fact no truths exist. As a result they become embedded in some rut of thought and, unless they possess an exceptionally commonsense mind, degenerate into religious maniacs."
