I am NOT going to put that link up AGAIN! It is a few pages back in an interview she did the day the book came out..

But there was one error in that guys great reasoning..no Quidditch match..Rowling said that the one that Luna narrated would be the last and final one she would ever write XD

Nice OSC article. Of course, Rowling's gonna read that and rewrite the entire book so that he's wrong.

well this dude did have some good points but i think a few things were a bit off.....i really dont think harry's scar is a horcrux unless voldemort did it on accident because he was trying to kill harry not make a horcrux out of him and plus voldemort wouldnt keep trying to kill him if it was in fact a horcrux. also that guy was wrong about "we don't have is any serious proof that Dumbledore is completely, irrecoverably dead," i think he forgot about his portrait appearing in his old office/Minerva's new office. and i didnt think that dumbledore fell of the tower i thought he just fell on the floor...i could easily be wrong about that though. but besides that he definitely had some good thoughts.i also still agree with him in that snape is good although i am a lil perplexed about him i just like to trust dumbledore's judgement over voldemorts'.

oh yeah and i was unaware that this book contained the last quidditch match thats soo sad i always enjoyed reading about them!

again with the scar and portrait thing <_<

DD's portrait appeared...thats ALL we know--JKR NEVER told us how/when/why the portraits appear so it can easily be said that they put it there to make Voldy believe he was dead. also, Umbridge's portrait didn't appear either and she was headmistress. so we obviously don't know the circimstances under which it appears!

Harry/his scar being a horcrux WAS an accident. he didn't mean to make him into one but i think it was when he wanted to split the soul by killing harry, that he lost control causing it to happen without him knowing until later...

i also HIGHLY doubt DD made horcruxes...i mean, c'mon--its DD. horcruxes are dark magic and he would never do that. also, i doubt he would've killed anybody to make them, including fawkes who would be reborn.

Ah but Umbridge wasnt the rightful headmistress, she was appointed by the Ministry, remember Dumbledore's Office sealed itself and refused to let her into it... Whereas the office had no problems letting McGonagall in as Headmistress...

Exactly.
So, with Harry being the horcrux, is illogical. It doesn't make sense and fit in. Harry might have to die to win, but I doubt he's the last horcrux. I still stand by my list.

The article was good though, it made sense in some respects. I'm glad the last quidditch match was in this book, because after a while, the reasons behind it are essentially pointless. This last book will probably only partly be at the school anyways.

And Tekky's right with the portrait and office. Umbridge was not a real headmistress at all, and it refused to let her in because of it.

You would assume that if you were to split your soul in order to fein immortality, you'd only be able to do it willingly and not accidentally.

Voldemort went to Godric's Hollow with the intention of killing Harry, not infuse him with part of his own soul. The killing curse back-firing and Harry becoming a horcrux all at once? Nah.

true...but arent u assuming that the portrait shows up when the person was rightfully headmaster/mistress and dies? i mean, not necessarily...

or i could be desperately thinking DD is alive

Yes, you are desperate. He is dead. Or so we think, and believe. We'll have to wait and see.
