I don't like using legendaries. It makes me feel stuck-up.

Bah, everyone uses legendaries. Real players don't need legendary pokemon to win. Good for you 13 for not using them as a line up.

I agree with Skyreus.

If they could do a beautiful 2d overhead world with full 3d graphics in battles and a menu/item/pokedex/team/map screen on the bottom, that would rock.

I don't really care about that as much....I just want them to seriously tone down that overpowered blob called a Blissey.........the thing has always been way too strong and they just keep making it stronger with each generation and keep working into the metagame.

Quote

Yeah, I do that too. I find the ultra rare ones (Dragonite, Tyranitar, Metagross, Salamence etc.) are really powerful once you train them up some.

It would depend on what you train them on......everything grows differently depending on what you use to train it.

Well, I go to wherever's the strongest place I can find for what kind of stats I want and then I swap them out. I raised my level 3 Larvitar to the same level as my lv 80-something Lugia in a week and now most of its stats are higher.

Thats not what I mean...there can be a few reasons for that.....

1) Tyrannitar has naturally higher attack anyway....Lugia is a master of defense

2) Personalities, certain personalities boost stats by sacrificing other stats.

3) IV's, base stats legendaries in Advance are fixed to always only have a IV range of 0-6 wheras others get the potential 0-31. That means just in base stats its impossible for a legendary to be stronger than 20% of its actual power.

4) Ev's/Effort Values, if you battle high offense pokemon your attack grows more, high HP pokemon and your HP grows more, high defense and so on. You have 510 ev points and it takes 252 to max one stat to its highest as the IV will let it. You have 6 stat areas, at most its only possible to get a strong stat area in 2 areas and spreading them even is killing your pokemon.

Anyway I don't really use any of the rare and legendaries anyway....I'm mostly a UU player or make UU teams and stick one of the OU's in for support. I mostly play Netbattle rather than the actual game due to lack of competition here.

I use whichever ones suit my teams and my opponent. If one gives my team an elemental weakness, it's gone. But generally, if one's uber powerful (like Mewtwo or Lugia) I'll have it because I know my link-up opponents will have something similar. And I'm glad I've got Silver because with Level 40. Lugia, you have a move that works like a critical hit hyper beam and because you train it from younger, it'll beat other legendaries.

Ahhh, the Pokemon days... I had the Blue and Gold versions. Unfortunately, my Gold version got corrupted, and I didn't feel like starting over.

I leveled up my Pokemon equally, but I never substituted them between other Pokemon that could've been potential starters. After I beat the Elite Four a few times, then I would start raising my other Pokemon.

Ahhh my blue version... I had raised up all my Pokemon to such high levels that the weakest Pokemon I had was level 50. :D Good times.

Is the National Pokédex order in Leaf Green/ Fire Red the same as in Emerald?

Nope, it's Kanto regional so I believe it's "Bulbasaur - Mew - Chikorita - Celebi - Treecko - Jirachi".

Gah.. I'm so confused. How many different orders do they have for the PokeDex now? I say they just stick with the "Bulbasaur to Deoxys" one.

There's Kanto regional which is also National (Bulbasaur to Jircahi), there's Johto regional (Chikorita to either Mew or Celebi but without any Hoenn monsters), and there's Hoenn regional (Treecko to Jirachi without any Kanto or Johto creatures).

Orre has no native pokemon and so no pokedex. It's a desert.

Here's a question, who do you prefer: Minun or Plusle or Pichu or Azurill?

Once I get through with San Andreas, I'll be buying Leaf Green and Fire Red! I've neglected Pokemon for quite a while, and I could do with getting back into it!

How many of the little blighters can you catch overall with both LG and FR?

*smacks Zythe* Nope! Some GS Pokemon (all of 'em?) are on the Seven Islands, which you have access to after beating the Elite Four. You can even get a Togepi egg! I think you can even catch a Mew if you have the right merchandise or something like that.

You get Mew in Emerald by going to an island that you get a Treasure Chart/map thingy from Nintendo (like the other tickets).

I have 385, although my Celebi is illegit.

So your missing the other forms of Deoxys I'm guessing? Since theres 389 pokemon Deoxys accounts for the last 4.

No. Deoxys counts as one. You can't have all his *5* (Colluseum has a mix of the other forms) forms on one game because it changed when it's traded.

Uh...no. Deoxys four forms are exactly like the Unown's 26 different forms. It all counts as one single Pokemon in the grand numbering scheme of things.

Besides - there are 386 Pokemon, not 385. :arcee:

The pokedex still regards Deoxys 4 forms as separate pokemon, Deoxys #386, Deoxys-F #387, Deoxys-L #388 and Deoxys-E #389.

Its not the actual game but rather the listing

How do you get Pokemon out of Collosseum? I knew the American and Japanese versions came with a Jirachi, but the PAl one got nothing! I was dissapointed since there wasn't a Box organiser like there was with Stadium.

What does Collosseum offer a Gameboy game in terms of actual pokemon, and how do you get them?

After you defeat the final boss in the last story mode colluseum, you can then go to the first pokemon center and send pokemon between colluseum and the GBA games.

My favorite game was Yellow (i like the originals the best). Thats why I was thrilled with leaf green and fire red.

Does anybody know where I can get game shark codes for fire red that actually work. None of the one's I got actually worked.

Oh, heh. Yeah. That team in my sig is kind of outdated now. I decided to update it after every gym battle.

Anyways, has anyone seen the anime lately? I saw a rerun today, and it involved Ash in a dress and Brock trying to seduce him. O.o
