From this point forward, this thread had BETTER be about Zelda. I'm taking enough time to just delete posts, rather than outright closing this thread.
PS: Link is teh s3x0rz. Although the graphics of the new game don't look extraordinarily above to all the other games out right now, the trailer certainly makes it look good- and a million times better than what OoT had, of course.

How. In the hell. Can you say TWW sucked? It may not of been as long as OoT or MM (which actually has fewer dungeons, unless you count the moon dungeons), but it was still a great game. The graphics were beautiful, etc, etc., you can't judge a game by graphics, and all the other stuff that has been said to TWW-hates since '03.
You know, you're right, the moss creature does look like Doshin. That would be cool if it was named that, too, just for a cameo's sake.
hey, I personally did hate the graphics of WW, but I looked BEYOND them... what I truly hated in the end about it was a trite and lame ending, coupled with removed dungeons, etc...

The actual Hylian has a completely different typeset across the two games, actually.
It only had a different typeset because they decided to let it be translatable... it's STILL Hylian text...

Not gonna lynch you but, I actually think he runs naturally as I run pretty much like that normally. This is because of spending quite a few years running for my school coach with a bag(s) too heavy for me. It makes me think of someone running with a heavy load on their back, and it's not as if Link doesn't carry a fair few items with him in Zelda games.
well, yeah, you've got a point. I thought about that after I made that post, as its more "natural" to run that way. But it just looks really strange for Link.

i wonder if the zoras will start wearing some clothes too. laruto wore a dress in ww, so its possible.since Goron's are "better rendered," rather than being just blobish now, they gotta cover up their "genitalia"

Well, they might as well 'dress up' characters, enemies, and settings, since that, in some ways, can add so much more detail and character. The Goron's warpaint/tattoos are awesome, by the way.
I also love how the trees look so much more...organic in the forest scenes, especially that one screenshot (the other one with the cats). That tree is awesome, it reminds me of those giant redwoods in CA where cars can drive between their roots.

Although I'm not doubting that you didn't like tWW, MK, the ending actually wasn't really trite... trite is something that ihas been repeated too often/over familiar through overuse. In terms of the Zelda series, the ending of tWW didn't seem trite - the rest of the plot was pretty trite, but the ending was something that actually broke with tradition more than anything else. But then again, I don't know what you mean by the ending - the end sequence of them sailing away, the fight, the destruction of Hyrule?
Here's what I mean...
Ganondorf beats up Link and Zelda/Tetra and is moments away from his great victory, he is announcing his wish to be complete uber demon ruler of Hyrule. He is sticking his hand out, when, out of NO WHERE the dead king shows up and makes the WORST WISH EVER!
King: Blah blah HOPE blah blah DESTROY HYRULE!!!!!
He could have used that wish to send Ganon to Hell, restore Hyrule, and make everything be right in the world, which WAS the whole POINT of the hero returning to Hyrule and it being sealed away to begin with, so it could be resurrected!

Wow, you missed the whole "POINT" of the ending. The king's wish was, inadvertantly, the only real way to stop the repetition of Ganon returning again in the future as he always does. Here's what I mean...

Spoilery, hilight to read (though I don't see how it matters after what's already been said):
The Triforce decided--based on the king's wish for hope--that the only way to stop Ganon from trying to conquer Hyrule again was to remove it, so that he'd have nothing to conquer.
Sending him to "Hell" clearly doesn't work, as that's been done. Please refer to The Imprisoning War--or the results thereof-- circa Link to the Past. Destroying him never seems to stick, either. What good villain would let his own death slow him down? Ganon certainly never did.
It was a brilliant plot move, really. The only problem being now the game designers have to dig their way out of it. But it's good, really, they shook things up, which will hopefully help the series avoid being actually trite. Isn't that ironic?

sorry, but that's three wishes, and the triforce only grants one. also, the king wouldn't restore hyrule, because he realized the mistake he had made. he was clinging to the past. hyrule was kept frozen in time for all those years. then he realized that hyrule's time was over, and the children needed to forge their own path forward into the future, not bring back the old kingdom. also, if the king would have known not to wish that everything was right in the world, because if there weren't any bad things, nobody would appreciate the good things. He could have used that wish to send Ganon to Hell, restore Hyrule, and make everything be right in the world, which WAS the whole POINT of the hero returning to Hyrule and it being sealed away to begin with, so it could be resurrected!

Please tell me you're being sarcastic.Look closely at the screenshot that Showsni just posted. Look at the scabbard... it looks just like the Master Sword's scabbard, from OoT.

Not really. OoT's Master Sword had a more colorful scabbard than this one, from what little I can see. The colors are the same, but the pattern is different. Then again, it's awful hard to tell with that small shot, so you might turn out to be right. Might.

Also MK saying hope was the worst wish ever, traditionally it has been humanitys hope that has let it survive, because without hope you can't do anything. Also imagine if the King wished for Ganondorf to die, and before you fought him and it killed Ganondorf, that would be the worse ending of a game ever as there would be no final boss.

Why would I be sarcastic? I noticed a similarity, and pointed it out.

I dunno, you guys will just have to excuse me. i'm taking a rather cynical point of view towards all the in-depth analysis of the trailer.

Deku Babas are moving!
You know Skyreus I was actually thinking that the creature might have been a Snap Dragon, you know from A link to the Past, but then again it could be a moving Deku Baba.
Also did anyone notice Link doing the downward swordthrust attack on that spider (possibly Tektite). I thought that was cool, a returning move from the Adventure of Link.

Is Link a werewolf? Is the new Navi a wolf? Is Zelda cursed into being a werewolf and Link has to save her?

Actually, I'll bet the wolves are like the new villain's minions or something. I mean, come on, the Moblins are Ganon's minions, the wolves could be...um...Weregarurumon's minions! Yeah!
