link goes to the market, sees a little dorky baby dragon locked in a cage and buys it. he trains the dragon to say "link" then in the future he fights the dragon which doesnt remember him and then link cries when he cuts off volvagias head... then volvagias head cries and says "link..."
THATS BULL! you can't say that isn't cheesy... it was better when he was a dragon, killed and comes back as ganons servant.

I'm not a big manga person, sorry. It's too melodramatic and unnecessarily crass a lot of the time. I don;t understand the emotions of the characters too well either.
That could just be me. What turned me off from manga was Fruits Basket. Are they all like that?
That's like asking if all American films are like American Pie. You can't judge an entire country's contribution to a medium from one example.
Try something like Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind. http://store.viz.com...ICAA/s.nLqvmoHo

No, Malon and Marin aren't RELATED or PARALLEL, but they are extremely similar. Extremely. In any case, it's not Zelda. And this was Link's dream. Maybe his subconscious threw him some hints about who he likes...not that it matters. This isn't OoT Link, where Malon is a suspect, but anyway.
It was the Wind Fish's dream, he says so himself. Link somehow became trapped inside it.
EDIT: Ahh, double post, had the replies in different tabs and thought they were different threads. >.<

Well, basically, Zythe, they're the same person, unlike conqueror Ganondorf and demon Ganon. As the princess, her name was to be Zelda, but as a wild girl born on the open sea, her name was Tetra. King changed it, but even in that dress of destiny, (big scene with ToW, her dress was changed to signify her princesslyness,) we soon see that nothing about Tetra has changed at all, besides her being a little more reverent, but that affects her Tetra-self too. Her garb changes at the end to symbolize living for the future, a moral the King realized too late. But overall, it's just one slightly confused girl having a costume/name change.

Anyway...she was a girl, grew up as a pirate, and when destiny called, she donned the dress and took it all in stride until the King gave it up and she went back to being pirately. No magic to it, save one instant costume change and an old fart stuck living in the past calling her a different name.
