Who should Link end up with?

It's nothing like just saying something like the example you gave - I can analyse the text and come away with that interpretation, and it is a valid interpretation even if it is not what was ment by the writer as it is backed up by my reading of the text. It's like how people have different interpretations of meaning from 'Mobey Dick' or 'Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?' Unless you can provide an arguement as for why you think the opening of Star Wars is Obi Wan playing the bagpipes, it isn't the same situation.
The question then becomes 'what did the author intend and how well did they convey that intention', but I'm not going to go into that - do we really know what the authors intended when they wrote, scored and directed that scene? I can point out visual and musical cues which seem to play on and suggest a sexual undercurrent... was that intended? It doesn't really matter in this instance, as I only brought it up because I was pointing out a misconception that I originally held that coloured my original reading of that scene.

Monique, he was largely arguing against your posts. Don't get into Storyline and Contro levels of debate, guys!
I don't care! He's the one who made the biggest point out!

Psh. Guys. No respect for intelligent thought.
Psh. Females. No respect for their place in society.
Some of y'all need to grow up. Sex is a beautiful thing and more so in music. Advertizement of it (porn, smut, the like) however is not always so. There's a big difference between the two. Anything you can dance to and has a good beat, specifically something with drums is sexually suggestive because women (and I mean women not little girls who aren't mature enough to handle the idea of having sex) link dancing to sex. Dancing with a guy is one failsafe way to check out if a guy is good in bed without actually having to sleep with him. Also a guy who is well coordinated makes a good father that can handle a bunch of little kids running around house.

Holt shit! You really don't like women, do you MJ?Psh. Females. No respect for their place in society.
Okay uhm... I sure don't believe a EV game could have actually thought of Link having sex..
Now the teenrated! Oh yea!! I would see that one coming! WOOHOO!!
That's exactly what we need, "Zelda: Princess of Persia".

I think a little sexual tension between Link and Zelda would be fine if it's something like IndieZelda's TWW comic. Like the the scene where in the dark alley way in Windfall where Tetra lead Link to her secret stash of Bombs. Yeah, I could so see that in the next Zelda for GCN. After all, they said Link is a teen and teens do go through some crazy emotions. I miss those days...

Justy because something is rated for all ages doesn't mean that the authors are incapable of interjecting subtle clues, innuendoes or symbollogy that plays of particular age groups expectations or experiences. It just means that perhaps there are more levels at work in the narrative of the game than just a surface level reading would suggest - I mean, there are less than subtle references towards things of a more sexual nature with the carpenters and the Poe vendor commenting on how attractive Link is, and Nabarou's suggestions towards him as well.

I find it silly how some people hear the word sexual tension and automatically think it involves people boinking each other like a bunch of horny rabbits. Really folks! It's when two people like each other but one of them or both are too bull-headed to admit their feelings for each other, making alone time painfully awkward. That said, sexual tension can exist in a Zelda game without taking away it's "innocence" (not that hacking away at enemies with a sharp blade doesn't do that already XP). In fact, the Wind Waker has a few scenes with sexual tension in 'em like the cat burgular scene between Link and Mila. Yeah, she ran off because she knew she wanted to be all over him like white on rice.... in an innocent nonsexual sense of course.

Come to think of it, Husse reminds me of Mila...

I don't think LOZ contains sexual parallels, but, because of the story being told, almost any hormone driven teen can take it that way.

Funnily enough, I don't think I ever read any sexual tension in the Link/Mila scene, but it's been awhile since I last played that scene...

Yes, MJ, we know you're bi...or gay...can't tell.
Don't trust anything that bleeds for a week, psh! And if I could turn everyone on the planet straight, that would be keen, but seeing as I can't, I won't pick on you.

Husse, you should believe more in yourself. God does.

I quite honestly don't know what you're trying to say in that one at all.....

Okay, STILL don't know where you're going with that, ANYWAY, I'm not revolted with gays, I just think it's a perversity, and they don't need to do it, basically. It's a sad one at that. I don't hate gays, I mean, love the sinner, hate the sin, right?

How'd this go from a 'Who Should Link Nail?' topic to a topic on homosexuality.
To bring things back to the topic.. cough..
I voted that Link should play Mack Daddy. He's a smart guy, and I think he can play it off well enough to get away with it. Then, when they all realize that he's seeing the other, it's a huge fight, with the winner being the true woman for Link. Or, whomever can cast the best magic, or throw the best punch.
I'd go to watch it.

Anyways, I'd watch Malon and Zelda go at any day. In a pig mud pit. With hair pulling and teeth biting and nails scratching. That'd be awesome.

XD
I have to agree, though; i'd love to see.. wait.. I take that back.. every male in the entire WORLD, Zelda fan or not, would love to see Zelda and Malon go at it. In a mud pit. With bathing suits on. That'd rock.
