She's also annoying.  If anyone called me fairy boy, I'd nut them.  Also, people who stand around singing all day should go on Pop Idol or something, not be in a Zelda game.    But, heh, seriously, I don't hate Malon.  I just prefer Zelda X Link.  

well he IS the only boy she knows that has a fairy following him everywhere, and in hyrule it seems that they don't really have the stereotypes that we do in the real world, so fairies might not even be considered girly.

It's not offensive, it's just a REALLY stupid statement. Status in life does not constitute love or Link. He himself is a humble Hylian who thought he was an elf, hero or no, he has a humble "peaceful life" nature. Monique has just bared to the world her n00biness yet again.

Zelda would be nice, but she is a bit of a snob and saving her butt gets annoying.  Strike out for her.  Saria would be the best bet if she actually grew up.  Ruto is a complete no because it really sucked when she is mean to you, and then is worshipping the ground you step on when you save her.  Malon is the best, in my opinion, a simple farm girl.

people assume zelda is a snob because she is a princess, but there is no proof of zelda being snobby.

Zelda does have some snobbish blood. She orders Link around like nothing, confident her plans will always go right, and she has this elegant leaderly air. In the end, she becomes very humbled, realizing she screwed up and all, but yes, young Zelda is snobby.

Even if she wasn't her personality just doesn't click at all. She's too strong for OoT Link, and he usually seems too stunned and humble to be attracted to her, only a loyal friend. Zelda herself is one of the few characters

Cremia was quite possibly the only one since his mother died to actually give Link a hug.

But it really does look like Link went back home in the end of MM, sorry to break it to ya! I love that part, but I've only seen it once, can anyone tell me how I can get her to do it again? ......Wow, that didn't sound right...anyway, someone tell me, I've tried, it hasn't worked...
