Well, I usually drink cheap cider (but not that cheap as Frosty Jack's).
On a side note, I just can't come to terms with the fact that in England Absolut vodka is cheaper than Bacardi.

Tonight I had Chimay for the first time.
I was unimpressed. But then, I don't like beer with a strong citrus flavor.

Tonight I'm drinking a cheap-ass Trader Joe's red wine, it's fine

Monster energy drinks are my current drink of choice. I try to remember to drink a glass of water occasionally so that my heart doesn't explode.

Usually milk or water... Or V8 as of late.

I've been drinkin' Redd's Strawberry Ale lately. In fact I just bought a 12 pack. c_c It's pretty yummy for Walmart booze.

Bell's Cherry Stout. It is a stout with cherry juice and I love it.

Dogfish Head 61, an IPA brewed with Syrah grape must (what's left over of the grape after making wine with it). It's great. The grape balances out the bitterness of the hops with just enough sweetness.

God that sounds fantastic.
I've been drinking Miller Fortune, because as I was leaving the store with my usual sixer of Old Dirty Bastard scottish ale, I saw a twelve-pack of Fortune for the same price (edit: with an acceptable ABV by comparison). And I compromised like the dirty liberal I am.

What's that like? I don't like things that are artificially fruity or overly sweet but I like a nicely-balanced fruit beer.

Bell's Oberon.
It's a light (by their standards), fruity beer. I enjoyed it quite a bit. It would be very appropriate for summer.

I'll make a mental note of that one; I see it around a lot but I don't think I've ever ordered it.

Oberon is a solid beer, but their Two-Hearted Ale is where my heart lies.
I am drinking vodka + triple sec + green water enhancer + diet squirt. The soccer mom cocktail. It's like drinking a lollipop.

You and Sean...euuughhhh
More Porkslap for me tonight! I've mentioned it here before. It's my decent mid-priced beer at the bodega around the corner.
(not my pic)

But now you're making some nasty-ass Rockstar vodka abomination? Inspired by Zach?

Look at this snooty-ass gentrified New Yorker criticizing our mixers, Sean.

I am fine being a food snob and I am prepared for all accusations of snootiness; I'll cry into my local microbrew

I'm fully aware that my drink choice tonight is trashy, but I won't have it paraded in front of me. I put in my time; I have my microbrew cred; I drink Old Dirty Bastard Scottish Ale. Sometimes I just need something cheap and disgusting.

I must have it. Bell's is awesome.
Right now: Ommegang Three Philosophers. When I was buying beer last night, I couldn't decide between Bell's and Ommegang. Why not both?

Cruzan Black Strap Rum, neat.
Black Strap is distilled not from the raw sugarcane like most rums, but from the molasses that is made during the sugar refining process. And boy howdy, does that make a difference. It's delicious, if you like a kind of heavy drink (maybe not if you don't like molasses). It's somewhat better as a mixer than as a sipping rum, and a little goes a long way, it'll totally overpower a Coke. Pair it with a really strong ginger beer like Blenheim's or Red Rock, and it will make the best Dark and Stormy you've ever had. And it's pretty decent as a sipping rum, too. And it's super cheap for how good it is. This stuff gets my vote for best $12 bottle of booze you can buy.
Ooh, and I just thought of another use - I bet this would be super in bread pudding.

This thread reminds me that I've literally had nothing but water to drink for weeks. And milk. Sometimes Apple Juice. MY PALETTE IS LIMITED.
Posted 23 April 2014 - 10:49 AM
I mostly only drink water. I made a pitcher of iced green tea recently and I can't ever remember to drink because I always just get a glass of water. I should go get a glass of iced tea...

I mostly drink Pepsi.
And water.
Mainly Pepsi.
It's a problem.
