So the other day my best friend brought a flask of absinthe questionably imported from France.

I decided to give Victory's Golden Monkey a chance.  It's a Tripel Ale, so a very malty style.  It also has some assorted fruits and spices in the flavor profile.  Pretty good, but doesn't seem quite as rich as I expect for Belgian styles.

Fort Collins Brewery: Chocolate Stout

 

It's a little thin for a stout.  The first few sips, all I taste is roasted malt, but the chocolatey flavors start coming out after a while.  It's...ok.

Decided to try Victory: Storm King.  I've been eyeing this one for a while.  It's an imperial stout, so it's pitch black and you hear it smack the bottom of the glass when it pours.  It's super thick and malty.  Just how I like them.

Just opened a Lucky Buddha beer. It's not a huge deal or anything, but it's tasty and refreshing. And the bottle looks like this:

Nehalem Valley Winery makes a delicious mead! I'm not much of an alcoholic beverage drinker, but for their mead I would be. Just gotta get Ollie fully off the boob first....

I had a Mymosa once. 

It's a Vegas based drink company. Mimosa but... Premium or something. It was pretty cool. :D
