I'm also hoping for some interesting type combinations for the starters, since last gen's ended up being a tad lackluster.

I'm guessing Fire/Psychic, Water/Fighting, and either Grass/Rock or Grass/Steel.

The official site is confirming it all now - plus some new stuff! I like how they're making male and female Pokemon with more dramatic changes more along the lines of Unfeazent then before when it was just a longer horn or whatever. Also, the new Team Flare scientists - because you thought the Team Galactic guys weren't silly looking enough.

That watch transformation sequence just makes me think Kamen Rider even more. Being able to change your trainer's outfit is also kinda neat.

Oh, and the English trailer for that new Pokemon movie. Only mentioning it since the XY anime will have its first two episodes shown right after on October 19th on Cartoon Network. Nothing strange there.....except that series itself would have only premiered in Japan on the 17th, two days prior. I know that these things are done six months out before the Japanese airdate and the gap between it and the US airing is only about 90+ days at this point, but holy crap that's fast for being dubbed and localized.

I'm starting to see that this game is getting pretty big on genders. Having the games be X and Y now has a whole new meaning. I wonder how much that will play into the game itself?

Man. That is just not what it would look like. Movie magic I guess.

Also, I wonder if Einhorn was really transgendered or if Finkle was just using crossdressing as a disguise/excuse to feel pretty?

So, that Pokemon OVA retelling the events of the first game? We're getting it in one form or another.

For sure on the Pokemon App for iOS, though it wouldn't surprise me if this gets aired on Cartoon Network and subsequently put on-line sometime too. Hopefully they do a different cast instead of just using the guys from the main show.

Aw, Charizard X looks neat, but having it be in that Origins OVA is kinda disappointing since it was supposed to be a throwback to Red and Blue/Green. I kind of wonder how many more X and Y versions there'll be now.

No no, Mega Charizard X has always been in Red/Blue/Green. His name just used to be 'M.

His stats were too damn mega for the Pokedex.

Delphox, Fire/Psychic, looking more and more legitimate every passing minute.

This one not as believed, but still looking likely. Water/Fighting.

Not really a fan of large bipedal anthromorphs... I don't mind the Machop line or the 'chans but Pokémon like Blaizken, Gallade and Fennekin the Third don't do it for me.

That's the move that does extra damage to Flying types, right? I guess that just became crazy lethal.

Hmm...I do recall one of the devs saying the Starters were based on fantasy RPGs. So since we've got our mage and thief/ninja, I expect Chespin to end up being some sort of warrior/knight.

Leaning towards Chesnaught myself, which is ironic, considering Chespin and Quilladin were my least favorite of the last two batches.  :P

I'M THE CHEZZERNAUGHT BITCH!

I'm really pleased with all three of the starters, mostly because the last set were boring and to keep us going was a Gen II remake which had equally boring starters in my eyes.

Greninja will be my pick. And for the blue Charizard I'll have to pick X so my preorder can finally go in.

As much as I like knowing the three starters final evolutions, I think I'll go blind for everything else. Even back in Yellow I had seen the show and looked stuff up before playing so I knew what I was getting into, so I'm kinda excited to finally go into a game completely ignorant of everything.

Somewhat leaning towards grass now, and will definitely get X.

I figured it was safe not to bother with spoiler tags for the starters since people like to know at least that one bit of info for starting a new game.

Anything else I find will be in spoiler tags.
