Oh, that's not a problem if you put in a new stereo. Dad's cars are 1989 and 1992, but the radios are a few years old and handle iPods up to the 5th Gen I think.Wait, hookup for the car? In a 1995 model?

Ben's all upset because if we have to go pick it up this weekend then he has to sacrifice some of his Guild Wars 2 Beta Weekend time.
Seriously? Tell him to stop being such a huge fucking waste of skin. That's disgusting.

Perhaps I should have worded that better. I told him we might have to go down tomorrow and he did the okay face and then got over it. Now we're both trying to get as much out of the Beta as we can today. All stocked up on energy drinks awright

Ben's a lot better at this game than I am. Both my Charr and my Norn are only level 3 but he has 3 characters and they're all at least level 6 already. D:

Feanen and canas were right; it's got a newer stereo in it.

It's a light goldish kinda color 1995 Toyota Camry. Ben's all upset because if we have to go pick it up this weekend then he has to sacrifice some of his Guild Wars 2 Beta Weekend time.

Sweet! I was excited when I got my car and realized I could hook up my iPod. Now I have an extra car stereo hiding in the house somewhere (I took the stereo out of my old car when the transmission went bye bye).
Today was actually a pretty good day. Woke up, went to work. Came home and B and I watched Grey's Anatomy, our latest Netflix hook. Except he keeps going ahead of me on episodes so I have to have him catch me up.

I looked for a job, two months and still nothing....
I know that feel.

I've mostly just been sitting around playing GW2 all day since about 3pm. The servers are back up, hooray!

Griped to my charge nurse about how badly I want to get into the Paramedic program...
Got a KTag for the toll roads.
I'll be heading to a local bar tonight to visit with friends for a short bit. Not planing on having anything strong, because I have to get up for work at 4:45 AM, tomorrow.

The director of Belle Plaine EMS happened to also be in the building at the time-- so he came up to where I worked and paid me a visit.

He told me to apply tonight for a part time position and handed me his card! He also encouraged me to come out and pay the station a visit! Fingers crossed!
If I get this, it's one step closer to getting into the Paramedic programs, here.

Today, a doctor working at the 1st floor overheard about how I wanted to work for Belle Plaine EMS.

Awesome!
I woke up at 4 AM and couldn't get back to sleep. Came downstairs and played the Xbox for a bit, and then when daylight actually hit, I started doing chores. What little chores I have left anyways. Got the dishwasher running (we have a small dishwasher, but a ton of large dishes), so now waiting for that so I can unload and reload. I have to get gas and do my WIC shopping, so I might do that here soon. I have no idea what time the Fred Meyer's gas station opens, so I'm most likely going to wait until 10 just to be safe. I should probably take the trash out too, or get B to do it on his way out. Maybe I'll play Apples while waiting.
Oh, a lady down the way just dropped off brownies for B and I, how sweet!

It's all awesome and has glowy lights and things. I just need to get used to this keyboard's weird layout now... And figure out how to turn off this spellchecker...

KEVIN FLYNN. WHERE ARE YOU NOW?

Loved that movie.
EDIT: I'm gonna try and find another Tron-related picture that isn't as blurry or dark, though.

Then I stopped at Mini Mart to get an Icee, and there was a lady with two little kids there. She looked at me, and goes "Baby wants n Icee?' I replied "Yep." and then we went our separate ways. I decided to get tacos since they were the special today, so I was waiting (again, it was busy) for the tacos. The same lady that had talked to me earlier was sitting there with her kids, eating. She asked somebody else in line when her baby was due, and the girl replied "I'm not pregnant." Whoops!
Finally got home, and came home to a bassinet. Yay! Now I just gotta figure out where it goes, and how to set it up.

[creepy]I want to crawl inside that mouth. Like a chipmunk or something.[/creepy]
XD Weirdness aside, I had a very interesting day, today.
It's probably common knowledge that I'm mentoring for Nursing as a nursing assistant at my job, and that I work in the Behavioral Unit.
We had a particularly new code orange today, who was very disconnected from reality, and she was very combative and possessive. She insisted my scrubs belonged to her, and she started screaming and pulling at them. I tolerated it very much, spoke to her in a calm voice, and I deflected and restrained all of her attempts to grab at my clothes. She did manage to get a hold of my pocket and she began pulling, hard.
To mine and the staff's surprise, a little woman in the corner -- and not just any little woman, but a fiery little Asian woman that I've fought with tooth and nail since day one of her arrival to eat, awoke from her deep slumber and leaned forward... She grew wide eyed and she tore the code orange a brand new one, "YOU DON'T TOUCH HER THAT IS HER CLOTHES! YOU LEAVE HER ALONE! DON'T YOU TOUCH HER! YOU SHUT UP! YOU SHUT UP NOW!"
Code Orange got quiet, fast.
See, we were all surprised that the little woman would stand up for me, because every time I came in to work, I would constantly nag her to eat and it would get to the point of her cussing and yelling at me as I force-fed her. And usually, I would tell her as I did it that I cared about her very much as a person, and that I didn't want to see her sick or weak... The staff and I figured all this time that she strongly disliked us! XD

XD I went by EMT labels, because I didn't want to divulge much on personal info. The hospital I work at a code orange is a chemical spill so for the first little bit of your post I was really confused.... Then I realized you probably meant a code grey.... for providence systems anyway....

I know what you mean... Usually, it takes the 'horse trank' to get them to calm down. :/
