Cheaper to live here too than in Europe.

I think.

I finally let it all out at my ex last night. I had been pretty much taking care of her because she and all her friends and boyfriend are entirely fucking useless. I couldn't say no because I can't not help people. She has totally taken advantage of that. Then last night she brings up her sex life with her boyfriend. I'm just like what the fuck. We get into a fight.

We won't be seeing each other again. Feels good to be done with it.

Good for you, Elven. There's a difference between helping people and letting them walk all over you.

Also Kissy, if you have the funds or are able to get them, totally go to Europe. This is probably the best chance you'll have.

If you have the money, go for it! Europe is great fun! (Not that I have anything to compare it with...)

I used to get ear infections all the time when I was little, but I guess I've grown out of them. I kind of miss Amoxycillin now...

Well, I told my mom about it, and she's TOTALLY opposed to it. :c
I don't know. I have an entire year it figure it out. And save.

Financial aid goes towards study abroad, right? Right?

Why would she be opposed to it? Paranoid that you're going to get mugged/kidnapped/forced into sex-slavery?

Financial aid can apply, you just have to talk to your school about it and find out. Either way, DO IT. The most boring people I know are those who never travel.

Well, the obvious one is money. But even if I got financial aid she kept saying no.
I'm guessing she's seen the movie Taken too many times.

The thing is I want to travel. SO BAD. I keep trying to convince my family to skip a vacation one year and go to Europe. But they don't want to. They always wanna go to the freaking beach or something. I want to see the WORLD, dangit.

Well, at least as a teacher you'll have summers off..? :L

Also, you know Spanish, right? A couple friends of mine got sweet jobs in France/Japan as English teachers, maybe you could find a similar program in a Spanish-speaking country? I could ask both of them if they know of any you could apply to, if you want.

It'll cause problems, but if you can afford it, go. Don't let your mother hold you back. She doesn't want you to go because she loves you, and doesn't want anything to happen to you, but at the same time you can't let her fears prevent you from enjoying your life.

Ugh. Today was supposed be my day to relax and rest! instead I got off work only to take my dog to the vet. Found out her toe isn't broken, but she's in the process of losing nail :( Got mess for her and went home to sit and wait a couple hours for a plumber that should've shown up right after I did. 5Th time someone has looked at our tub but the people below us are still complaining about water leaking. After he left played apples to apples on the xbox with quis. Just finished doing the salt soak on my dogs paw. Now... To stay awake till darklink gets off work so we can either game or do synchronized netflixing lol. I will sleep good tonight!

Oh and Rova if you get hives from any meds ending in -cillin you might have a penicillin allergy, and those only get worse with each -cillin use normally....I can't take any meds ending in -cillin because of my penicillin allergy :(

No, I want to teach here in the US. I don't wanna permanently teach in another country, I just wanna have that experience.

Oh yeah, I already know I'm definitely allergic to penicillin/amoxicillin/whatever and don't take them, lol. I'm also allergic to ibuprofen and aspirin. :T

They're not permanent. Both of them signed up to teach there for a year, and one of them ended up liking it so much she's renewed her contract a few times already and she's still in Japan. But the other friend who's in France is coming home on the 6th, I think she first went back in like September.

Yesterday was uneventful. Worked, played Apples to Apples, was going to make fried chicken and then realized I had no oil. Oops. Just woke up about an hour and a half ago, played on the Xbox a little, and now waiting for Cafe World to quit being so freakin' slow. Stupid Zynga. I should probably eat something here soon too, Sylvia is starting to beat me up.

Wrote a physics test on waves today, and wrapped a qualitative analysis lab that involved burning stuff which was awesome. Watched the NFL Draft earlier too, gonna study for the chemistry test tomorrow with some pals.

Good day, overall. :)
