Not that it matters to me with the whole no PS3 DLC thing on top of my console being temporarily out of service, but still it's nice to see this one looks a bit more substantial then Dawnguard.

I am a bad person? I'm still in Whiterun, messing around doing a few quests and whatnot. I've joined the Companions, too. Then I decided to go on a random killing spree for a bit, because hey, I can always reload. Chopped up a few innocent people in Whiterun, then the guards were killing me, so I ran to Jorvaskr (or however you pronounce it). The rest of the Companions, seeing I was under attack, drew their swords and attacked the Whiterun guards. Now the townsfolk I hadn't killed already were obviously helping the guards, so we ended up with a pitched battle on the streets of Whiterun with the Companions against the townsfolk and guards. Apparently the Skyforge Blacksmith counts as a Companion, because he joined in on their side, even though his wife was on the other side. It was pretty funny. The Companions won fairly easily - though of course the children of Whiterun are indestructible. So we ended up with the Companions chasing the children around, hacking away at them and shouting how they were the weakest enemies they'd ever faced.
Also, my horse is awesome. She even runs up and attacks dragons for me (well, I've only fought once dragon since I got her, but she was right up there stomping away at it). I haven't seen her get killed yet, even though she keeps attacking frost trolls and so on.
I did this exact thing in Oblivion after I figured out that my game was busted (for some odd reason). I started systematically killing the guards one by one in one of the towns by luring them into the Fighter's Guild building and having all the FG guys help me fight them. I then proceeded to decimate the town itself and virtually created my own rebellion against Cyrodiil. Best Oblivion experience ever. I restarted my file because of the game breaking awfulness (which I forgot what it was) in order to start the quest to take Cyrodiil over again, this time going all the way.

Cliff racers? Please say no...
They could have been worse.

Although there is a mod out there that revamps Morrowind with Skyrim's graphic engine, assuming you have both games already installed. There was one for Oblivion's graphics, too, but haven't tried it.

I've had a real hankering to play this lately, just haven't had the time to sit down and sink some hours into it. I got Dawnguard but haven't touched it. And I still have to try and beat the glitched invincible Alduin, which should be fixed by now.

Looks like it also has a specific new enemy type that intentionally hunts you down if you hit the level cap and is a legitimately tough baddie to down.

They will all be 50% off the first week, so....dammit, I'm getting them anyway so I guess I'll have to snap them up when they're released.
So fellow PS3 players, cross your figners and hope your console doesn't explode into a massive inferno when you try to go to a new area. Hrmph.

It didn't yellow light did it? Cause once it does it'll happen again and again and again.
Fortunately no. Something went wrong when I had the hard drive replaced, and it kept freezing during updates. I'm still waiting on a call back from the repair shop, since I wanted to know if there was something wrong with the system or the hard drive I bought for it, since they took it out and replaced it with a 40G. Either way, it works fine now.

Hmm, I pretty much have to get it that week then since I don't know if I'm willing to pay more then $10.00 out of the gate.

No time to really play it yet since I'm actually kind of under the weather, but nothing erupted horribly upon boot up so that's a plus!

I also love how just a little over a year later, the game is still giving me amusing stories to tell.
So, you know the cultist who tries to murder you when you hit level 30? Unfortunately for him, Raidant AI sicced him on me while I was in the middle of an Imperial camp since I threw my ring in with them for the civil war.....at the exact same time a Frost Dragon popped up to take me on. Poor fellow, not only did he have the dumb luck of having the dragon decide to focus attention on him, but after I slay the beast, he became the target of 8 - 10 Imperial soldiers and 4 horses. I was busy looting the dragon corpse to even notice he was after me, really, till I noticed all the soldiers in a circle hacking away at something on the ground. Say what you will about the Empire, the troops help one another out.
