Look at what is wrong with this. Another bozo who thinks that he has the correct timeline.

I keep getting into stupid arguements with that idiot on youtube regarding if TMC is a prequel to FS and FSA or not when it is obvious that it is. I am tempted to get a lot of youtube theorists as well as people frm other sites to kick him out of the Zelda timeline community. Even my old timeline makes more sense that that guy's timeline.

That whole thread makes me rage with the fury of a thousand Glenn Beck tantrums.

I know. And just look at his "sources" that say OOT is still first (people still believe this and yet they ignore the oldest tale quote for FS? OOT being the IW in 1998 had as many problems that FS has with FSA. FS-OOT is still official and Nintendo never said that this isn't the case). I brought this thread to Zelda Dungeon and someone there showed me this:
http://www.pokemaste....ad.php?t=18852

This guy thinks that Kid Icarus takes place in the Zelda world (Yes. I said world. Not universe). Honestly. I have seen the craziest stuff on some of these sites.

What is the craziest and stupidest theory mentioned in this thread so far?

Actually when I was a total n00b to game theorizing I had imagined all the Nintendo games (except for obvious exceptions such as Metroid, Kirby, and Starfox) taking place in the same planet. Specifically I had the Mushroom Kingdom and Hyrule on the same planet. This was way back when OoT was still new and I thought the paintings in Hyrule Castle meant that the King of Hyrule had diplomatic relationships with Princess Peach.

I even tried to draw maps of how all the game worlds fit together.

Masamune can tell you about it.

If your timeline's kinda weird, and it looks a tad unfair, just close your eyes and make believe; the games can go anywhere!

Shit. I hate myself for that.

I swear, Zelda Universe and Youtube have the worst theorizers.

Zeldauniverse is occasionally bright. But I swear if you think ZU is bad, you should check out Zelda dungeon.

ZD isn't that bad actually. ZI is bad (don't ask why). Show me one bad theory from ZD (they are the ones who showed me the thread mentioned above). Hyrule.net gets even worse than that. I try to avoid that site at all costs. Don't even get me (or anyone else here) started on the IGN boards.

If for some reason you were to pursue something like that, Mother 3 directly contradicts Earth's future as presented in Metroid and F-Zero. On the other hand, Metroid and F-Zero fit together rather handily.

Obviously James McCloud wasn't actually killed by Andross, but rather transformed into some creepy hairless primate thing, before finding himself stranded in some other galaxy, where he settled down, started a new family and the Galaxy Dog unit, etc etc. Actually, wasn't he supposed to have been lost in a black hole or something in the SNES version of the story? That could work.

EDIT: The ghost at the end of Lylat Wars was a hallucination. Fox was under a lot of stress.

I was refering to all of the Nintendo games taking place in the same universe in different galexies that have nothing to do with each other. Do you have any idea how big a universe (ours for example) is?

Only because I could never top that particular theory. :deadlink:

Well, this is just an observation, but people in Star Fox are all animal people. In spaceships.

You forget the timeline split!

Adult Timeline

Past (OoT --> Flood ---> TWW) --> Modern Day (Sports Mario games ) ---> Future (Mother --> Everyone goes barking mad and gets into furry porn --> Starfox games)

Child Timeline

Past (OoT/MM --> TP) --> Modern Day (Rest of the Mario games) ---> Future (F-Zero --> Metroid)

Not necessarily; we simply do better when we're allowed to have fun with it, as opposed to going at video game continuities like Joe goddamn Friday.

HAY GAIZ, MIYAMOTO COULD ONE DAY SAY THAT LINK IS ACTUALLY FRED SO HE'D BE WRONG SO EVERYTHING HE HAS EVER SAID IS WRONG.

I shit you not, Zemen said that once... so I sigged it 'cause it was funny and he flamed me in his sig. It was rather hilarious.

ZD is HORRIBLE. ZU has stupid and annoying theorists, but there are some smart people there, too. ZD is just stupid all around, for the most part. I've never had such and urge to swear so much than I have on that site. Funnily enough, the rules there are so damn strict. One time a mod PM'd me because I said "God damn"...

I hate ZD. Youtube is worse, but not by much.

If even that. If you want to technical, you can't even have them exist in the same universe because there's a good number of Nintendo games that take place on a fictional version of our earth in some shape or form that contradict each other.

Not theories per se, but I remember a bunch of old fanfics from around the time SSBM came out that had Marth and Roy show up in the Zelda universe. These weren't Zelda/Fire Emblem crossovers either. The writers had just played SSBM and assumed that Marth and Roy were from a Zelda game. I had a friend who even thought that they were from a game called The Legend of Zelda: Fire Emblem. This same friend also called Ganondorf "Griffinforth," so make of that what you will.

What the heck? Don't these bozos know that the Smash Bros. games themselves are crossovers? And Ganon's name being the name you mentioned? That NOA invention is more believable than that (even if the names in the old ALTTP manual were canon they would only apply to ALTTP's Ganon). Can you show me these fanfics you mentioned? Some of ones I have seen are much better than a lot of theories I have seen.

Speaking of which, check out some of these.

Some of these are just plain crazy. This one is my favorite:

Agahnim, Ganon and the Evil Jar

Notice all of the non-canon terms used here.

One of the tetraforce theories there is pretty interesting. It says that the forth triforce piece if there is one has something to do with evil. If there was a forth piece it would probably have something to do with time.

Hold on. Your name looks familiar. I think I remember arguing with you on ZD or ZU(I go there every now and again) or at least looking at some of your stuff on those sites. I do have to admit that there are a few idiots there (I remember someone there said that ALTTP/LA was never confirmed when I brought my old timeline there).

My name is Table on ZU. Although I'm not very active there anymore.

You've probably seen me on ZD.

Here's a screenshot I had of it: Posted Image

It had been a while since I'd seen the post, so I didn't phrase it perfectly, but you get the general idea.

And in that pic you can see his sig which openly flamed me (and I of course never said any of those things) after I put the part of his post where he mentioned he didn't read my post and him accussing me of not reading people's posts followed by something like "lol". So he changed his sig because he was mad at me.

The "Miyamoto could call Link Fred, Miyamoto would be wrong, so Miyamoto is always wrong because Link isn't Fred" argument can be seen in a lot of his posts.

I really hate Zemen. He's the only real reason why I don't go to that site anymore.

I know. Zemen is an idiot. But that doesn't mean that you shouldn't go there. I have the name Ganonlord on all sites except ZC and LOZ.com. I have a few topics that appear on both this site and ZD (mostly my timelines). And did anyone check out the theories I mentioned a few posts ago? I am goung to ZU now to find some crazy theories to mention here. I have lost count of the insane theories I have seen and brought here. The first kooky theory I mentioned here is by far one of the worst theories I have seen. Wait. Here's another one. I love how this guy thinks that a Zuna used the trident. And did Ermigard ignore everything I pointed out on ZI (providing it's the same guy) regarding the trident in LOZ? Maybe the trident in FSA isn't the same one from other games.

Wait, is that really such an outlandish theory? I mean, I wouldn't go around calling it canon, or use it as a basis for further theorising, but on it's own it seems reasonable to me.
