Hazaku was walking into the main part of the city and could see store after store
"wow" "this place must be based off of trading' Hazaku said as he continued farther
a strange sense took off in Hazaku's mind "is someone following me?" Hazaku started
to run and felt even more uncomfortable and he spotted a figure on the roof jumping
roof to roof to keep up with Hazaku. Hazaku just ran fasted and so did he Hazaku was
leaping store to store to fake out the guy on the roof then an arrow came down and
barely missed Hazaku's head "Damn" Hazaku leaped faster and faster and another
arrow came down and was an inch off of Hazaku's hand "Damn... he saw me pull
out the shuriken"
Flash Back
Another arrow came down and was an inch off Hazaku's hand but took his shuriken
to the ground. Hazaku kept leaping and an arrow came into Hazaku's face *woosh
"Shit, that was close" " how am I gonna get out of this..."

All of a sudden Hazaku blacked out...

Hazaku regained consciousness over
the dead body of the one that was
attacking Hazaku. Hazaku had a
bloody shuriken in his hand and there
were puncture wounds in the body
"ahhh..." Hazaku wonder were he was
he looked over his shoulder to see
a small village 'I must be somewhere
near Ur`Almen" "Hmmp... figures"
Hazaku took off "Huh... whats that?"
"Sticking out of the mountain"
Hazaku stopped and planted his feet
to the ground "Wait a second..."


Flash Back
Yes Hazaku becareful going out to that
place the Labyrinth is near by

"THE LABYRINTH!!! hmmmp... just figures"
"...just figures..." Hazaku started off in the
Labyrinth's direction "I bet that guy was sent
I bet he was..." "I will find who did this and...
KILL HIM" Hazaku jumped up and entered a
hole in the side of the wall sticking out
"Damn... its dark" Hazaku continued into
the darkness Hazaku came to a giant room
with a little light seeping in a thick voice said
"DIE!!!" as monsters surrounded Hazaku.
Hazaku wondered if it was better to see
or not as he listened to the demonic sounds
coming from the monsters they all charged
Hazaku. Hazaku swung wildly hoping to get
the demons of the dark and got clawed from
all directions "AHHHHHWWWW" Hazaku could
barely take in all the pain. Hazaku turned and
splattered the demon to the ground Hazaku
tried his best to keep from passing out as all
the demons charged again "AHHHHHHHHHHH
WWWWWWW" as Hazaku got clawed up Hazaku
was close to dieing were he stood eyes opening
and closing swaying back and forth blood all over
the ground still bleeding out Hazaku closed his eyes
and fell possibly for the last time...

Some sounds came from somewhere in the city. Oh well.

Another peculiar man. His lips were busted, he was suffering from pink eye in both eyes, had a cough whenever he talked, and walked like a zombie. Man this sounds like someone I know.

"*cough*You*cough*woke*cough**cough**cough*meup!*cough*"

He charged at ultra unexpected speed, especially for his condition.

Hazaku opened his eyes barely he was in
another part of the Labyrinth the tall figure
walked toward Hazaku and with the thick
voice it said "Heh your awake time for your
endless torture" The figure pulled out a sword
and swung at Hazaku over and over "AHHWW"
Hazaku yelled at the top of his lungs "enough
of this my arm is tired demons... kill him...
the demons slowly made there way around
Hazaku who was tied to a piller they charged
Hazaku but just them everything slowed down
for him he looked around and could see the
sword leaning on another piller he quickly used
"wind style : Gust" and pulled the sword through
a demon and the rope and into Hazaku's hand
"Chaos Spin" He slashed every demon to the
ground getting blood on his clothes and the floor
and wall. Hazaku pulled his head up "You will PAY!!!"
Hazaku griped the sword with both hands and took
off down the hall "I WILL MAKE YOU PAY!!!" Hazaku
quickly made his way through the seeming infinite
halls with fury in his eyes like he was possessed
with killing the man who tossed him aside and
caused him pain Hazaku dashed down the stairway
and pulled the sword above his head as he approached
a dark figure and charged it...

Steel nimbly sidestepped the charged zombie-like figure and shoved it into the wall, its head imploding into dust. "Any others?" He sighed and continued out of the alleyway. Steel lifted his head and inhaled deeply, then turned left and continued down the main road. Though it was quite dark by now, the city was still full of merriment, laughter, shouting, and hiccups emanating from the taverns, bawdy-houses, and gambling rooms which lined the broad streets. Steel put his hand against the sides of the establishments, feeling the way the wooden facades dipped and rose under his fingers. At last he stopped in front of a small tavern with an ornately carved sign featuring an Eagle and a Dragon locked in mortal combat. Steel shoved the double swinging doors open and walked into the front room, lit by a small but toasty fire and candles set in the walls. He walked to the back of the room and slid into the booth furthest from the door, taking off his swords and putting them within easy reach directly beside him, hidden from the rest of the tavern's patronage by his body. One of the bar-maids came up to the table to serve them, her long red tresses bound up in two braids which were twisted up on the back of her head.
"What would you be wantin' now then sirs?" Steel removed the cloth which, till now, had obscured his face, and lifted the bandages which covered his sightless eyes, their black irises glistening in the candle-light. A look of shock passed across the girl's face.
"Hello Freya."
She fainted, and fell to the floor.

Hazaku swung down and the dark figure quickly
jolted out of the way as a huge crushing sound
could be heard all through out the halls when
the sword clinged the floor the figure just took
off down the halls Hazaku yelled "so... you wanna
play games do yah..." Hazaku ran up too him and
swung the dark figure swiftly moved out of the way
and the sword collided with the piller Hazaku leaped
at him again and sliced another piller and Hazaku
heard a loud crumble. An idea popped into Hazaku's
head Hazaku stopped as the figure moved away
Hazaku turned and downed another piller then
another and finally he came to the last one and the
figure leaped out and grabbed the sword before the
strike and the thick voice said "STOP!, you dont
know what your doing" Hazaku replied "I know
exactly what im doing Hazaku summoned the last
of his strength and plowed the figure down taking
out the final piller. The place caved in around the
two Hazaku jumped up ready to take off but was
knocked down by falling pieces Hazaku went out
cold as the rest of the pieces fell, the noise echoed
all throughout Ur`Almen.

CRACK! Hazaku emerged from the ruins covered
in dust and rock. He quickly punched into the rocky
wastes in front of him and pulls out the man by the
collar. "WHO SENT YOU!" The man looked up at
Hazaku revealing his face "WHO SENT YOU!!". The
scar-ed man replied "no one... I" Hazaku interrupted
"I KNOW SOMEONE SENT YOU!". The man looked away
"Have it your way!" Hazaku threw the man into some of
the ruins, the man tried to stand as Hazaku walked over
and tossed him again. "AHHHW" the man tried to crawl
away but Hazaku grabbed and threw him into more rocks
"AHHHHLLLL right" Hazaku stopped. "It was a powerful man
named... Kazaja..." Hazaku bursted out "KAZAJA!!!" "DAMN HIM"
"I will kill that bastard if its the last thing i do... my bro has
pulled his shit for the last time!" Hazaku turned away
"Hes somewhere in Ikana Canyon..." Hazaku turned
to face the man "Thanks for your help! I appreciate
it!" Hazaku pulled out a shuriken "no No NO! Please
don't NOOOOO" Hazaku killed the man and took off
toward Ikana...

As Hazaku stomped his way toward Ikana
he began to think... *I shouldn't charge in
there there could be a trap...* Hazaku looked
over and saw Ur`Almen in the distance
"I guess I could stop for supplies" Hazaku
started off to Ur`Almen...

"Now I will need food and shurikens lots and
lots of shurikens" Hazaku walked into Bargin
Market and purchased the supplies "Now
what to do" "*yawn" "i need some shut eye
before I go..." Hazaku purchased a room at
Ur`Inn and went to sleep...

Steel picked Freya up and carried her to the bar. "Bit of a fright she had I think," he said, winking at the tavernkeeper. The man looked at him, and then a look of recognition flitted across his face, being replaced by the stony look once again. "Very good sir. Will you be wanting rooms for the night?"
"Yes indeed. Tell me, do you know when the next Gryphon leaves?"
"Gryphons aren't here at the moment sir. Lord Khuffie has them all busy up north. Won't be back for another week or two."
"Well then, we'll simply stay here for that time. Get us the rooms on the south wing . . . you know the ones."
"Yes sir, of course sir."
Steel ascended the stairs to the top, sat on his bed, and began writing on a scroll. It would not do to waste the time he spent here, there were still things he could be doing while he waited.

It took them a while to get to rooms, especially since they had a hair limit for men. Not like he cared, he could sleep outside for all he cared. Just spare him the small margined posts of randomness and he'd be fine. He saw too many of those lately.

Hazaku awoke with a good feeling being fully
rested. Hazaku went down the stairs to the
door and a weird man looked at him as Hazaku
exited the building. Hazaku thought am I ready
to go yet as Hazaku was walking out of Ur`Almen
"maybe I should 'borrow' a horse Hazaku said with
an evil look in his eye. Hazaku looked left and right
for a place that rents horses but couldn't find one
"I could go to van`duras but its still pretty dark
over there ...WHAT EVER im gonna get going..."
Hazaku headed south east to the desert...

Steel sighed and paused his writing. What was the last thing he needed? Ah yes. He quickly noted it down and then laid down on his bed, the soft pillow an unaccustomed luxury. Steel instantly fell into a light, but restful, sleep.

[Mystic Kitsune]

Kitsune looked at Steel. And kept looking. He could never see whenever he fell asleep, partly because he couldn't even tell if his eyes were closed or not. He could very well be awake and know that Kitsune is staring at him, and it would become an awkward and strange situation.

Kitsune lay back, wherever he was, and tried to sleep. Maybe he should borrow a blind fold? He took his sword sheath and placed it over his eyes. Well, that didn't help, but it sure did make him close his eyes. But why couldn't he do that without the sheath? Oh well.

He couldn't tell if he was asleep. He had a dream that he was awake staring at the sheath. He wouldn't feel too good in the morning.

*Yawn* The sun was Hot and Hazaku kept moving toward
Ikana Canyon, "I shoulda brought some water..." Hazaku's
lips were dry, "damn..." Hazaku looked up hmmm" "the sun
should set in a few hours..." "until then I will have to keep
moving" As Hazaku approached the desert that is Ikana, Hazaku
could see a small sand storm in the Canyon. "Huh... what the..."
Hazaku ran around to it sand was flying everywhere. Hazaku
could see two guys fighting inside, Hazaku watched as the battle
ended.

[Steel Samurai]

Steel awoke at precisely 5 O'clock the next morning. The soft bed tempted him to stay, increasing the time it normally took him to be up and dressed from 2 seconds to 5. He pulled the scroll he had been writing on from his pocket, running his highly sensitive fingers lightly along the slightly raised ink. Right. Steel turned. Kitsune was snoring softly, his sheath somehow balanced over his eyes. Steel prodded Kitsune with the toe of his boot. "Time to go."

[Mystic Kitsune]

He woke up, making his sheath loose balance and falling off with a really noisy clattering sound. He just nodded and rubbed his eyes and motioned Steel to lead the way.

[Steel Samurai]

Like a shadow Steel slipped out of the tavern into the back alleys of the large city, bustling even at this early hour. The bakers in the food quarter had already been awake and working for an hour, and the rest of the vendors were only just beginning to set up their stalls. Steel stopped by a nearby bakery and purchased a couple large rolls, eating one as he walked and handed the other to Kitsune. He quickly walked towards the Guild Quarter, where the Mage's Company, the Associated Smiths, and other Alliance sanctioned guilds could be found. Steel stopped first in a little herbalist shop near the Mage section. the interior was dark and smelled strange, a multitude of different smells assaulting the senses at once. The attendant looked at Steel and then promptly vanished, reappearing some moments later with a wizened old woman, who was seemingly deaf.

[SL the Pyro]

Unknown to either Steel or Kitsune, Shadow was also in the Mage area. He had been sticking around here since, thanks to Steel, he was too weak to get to Uradiel. He had spent the last few days taking various healing potions and herbs. He damaged arm and legs were still a little wobbly, but recovering fast. He had just finished downing a healing potion that further decreased the wobbling. "Ah, that stuff is a lifesaver." he said, giving the empty bottle to the potion brewer along with some money to pay for it.

Shadow was still taking things fairly easy, though, avoiding battles wherever possible in his shaky state. He started walking to the Alliance guild until his eyes caught Kitsune, and then Steel through the window of the potion shop.

"Ugh, look who the Kitsune dragged in..." Shadow said to himself. He hid behind a barrel and started spying, wondering what the pirate was up to.

Somehow Kitsune had ended up walking in front of Steel. Unknown to nature, but he did anyway. He shrugged and guessed he wanted to open the door (if there was a door...which is unknown) to let Steel go in first.

Well, anyway. They went in, Steel and Kitsune. Potions everywhere, tempting to smash them if Kitsune had bricks. He searched through his pockets, but who would keep bricks in their pocket?...

...he would. He pulled a brick out and looked around at a shelf, wanting to make quite a racket when destroying a shelf. For the heck of hit. Because, as far as he knows, he hates potions.

[SL the Pyro]

Shadow looked at what Kitsune took out of his pocket, then raised an eyebrow. "A brick? What could he be doing with... oh no." he thought as he saw Kitsune about to throw it.

Steel sensed Kitsune's intent and slowly shook his head. "I don't have the money to pay for broken potions right now."

Kitsune decided to drop kick it. The brick.

So he did, dropped it and kicked it. Ouch. It may have hurt his foot, but it lazily flew, missed the shelf, and smacked Shadow in the face.

He was too busy hoping around holding his foot to care. Why the heck did he drop kick a brick?

[Steel Samurai]

"Of course if that was all you were going to hit it doesn't matter. You'd best let the old one take a look at that foot. Drop kicking a brick wasn't very smart."

[Mystic Kitsune]

After realizing that it had hit Shadow square in the face, the pain in his foot left. It may not have been smart, but it sure was worth it.

He looked around to see what the potions were. Maybe one for the foot. He didn't want to see any old guy.

[SL the Pyro]

Shadow watched im amusement as the brick flew across the place, ricocheting(sp?) off the wall. He was not so amused, however, when the ricochet caused the brick to smack into his face. "YOW! YOU SON OF A--!" he yelled in discontent before covering his mouth, remembering that he was trying to spy on them.

So much for that; Kitsune and Steel were looking straight at him now.

He checked the damage; his nose was busted and bleeding profusely, but he could fix that with a potion like he did with his arm and legs. At the moment he focused on Kitsune, who he was peeved at for good reason. Shadow grabbed the blood-stained brick and thumped into the store. "Alright, vandalism is one thing, but assault is another! I oughta shove this brick down your throat!" he hissed. "...But fighting in here would be childish, not to mention it'd wreck the shop. What're you doing here, anyway?"

[Steel Samurai]

"Third from the left on the top shelf". Steel sighed. It would be a little expensive. No matter. Shadow Link's face, or, more specifically, dazed look, was worth it. Not that Steel could see his face, of course.

[Mystic Kitsune]

"Who says we have to pay for it?" He said to Steel.

"We don't even know anyone in this town...well they don't know us. And that guy is yelling at us for some reason."

[SL the Pyro]

The shopkeeper handed Shadow a couple of tissues so he could clean up the blood on his face. "I heard that." he said with a smirk. "No stealing while I'm around. You pay or you leave."

[Mystic Kitsune]

"What are you going to do about it? I'm not interested in these potions anyway..." He said as he just turned and waited at the door for Steel to finish his business.

[Steel Samurai]

"You don't know anyone. This is my favorite herbalist for around a thousand miles. They get in quite a few rare ingredients for me. Also, that tavern we stayed in last night? I own it." Steel sighed and turned to Shadow Link. "Get out of my sight. (metaphorically speaking of course) I have never met a worse eavesdropper. You deserved that brick."
