[Steel Samurai]

They stepped through the tall doors and walked straight past the guards, who saluted at the Badge Steel showed them, containing a Trident and Sword intertwined . . . somehow. Steel whispered in the ear of the butler, who hurried off as quickly as his stubby legs could propel his stout body. They were soon ushered into the presence of a tall, gracious woman, who was more handsome than beautiful, but over whose hand many in the Alliance had fought. General Alexia Verancel. Steel bowed and pressed the back of her hand to his lips.
"Edward, it is a rare honor." Steel would've shot a warning glance to Kitsune had his eyes been uncovered and still had sight in them, but as it was, he could do nothing.
"The honor is mine General."
"What may I do for you? Surely you did not come simply for a chat."
"Much as I wish that could have been the case, no. Although it is no favor I come to ask, merely to inform you of something which you might wish to be informed of."
"Pray, continue."
"It has come to my attention that a young protege of yours, Shadow Link by name, has been committing numerous felonies around the city lately, including, but not limited to, kidnapping, and swinging around the city causing damage to structures with an unauthorized device."
"No . . ."
"I fear so. I know you would not act against one of your own merely on the word of myself, so I had these pictures taken."
Steel produced several scrolls, which, when unrolled, revealed pictures of someone swinging around on his hookshot causing decided damage to the brick walls, running off with the maiden over his shoulder, and attacking several harmless pirate actors and cosplayers, among other misdemeanors. The general sighed.
"He has been such a bother since I let him off of jail. Really, he's not that good at any sort've stealth, I've no idea how he managed to steal as much as he did. And now it seems he can't even clean the streets properly." She sighed again. Steel nodded sympathetically "I know how you feel. I have had many such in my dealings. However," He looked at the large sundial on the balcony "I fear I must be off."
"Do pay me another visit before I leave in a week."
Steel bowed as he left.
"I shall do my best, General."

As Steel and Kitsune left, the General turned. Before even saying anything, a whole team formed up in front of her.

"Nooby. Crabman. Hammer. Wodahs. Bobby Bootleg. Spaceless. And party leader Creedy. Looks like we're all here. You all know what to do?"

Nooby: "yes ma'am lol ftw"
Crabman: "MAH CRABS ARE READY!!!"
Hammer: "HAMMY."
Wodahs: "Haey Lleh!"
Bobby Bootleg: "WHAT HE SAID WITH A LOW PRICE OF 3 CENTS!"
Spaceless: "yessma'am!"
Creedy: "Black baggin time!"

"You are the current NPC powered NPC hunters. Move out."

They did as she wished, and went.

(Do you ever read? The girl was not from the play, she was ina a real pirate attack. There are also other people hiding from the real pirates. And technically Shadow IS the proper authority (would it kill you to read the profile?), and last of all, SHADOW IS NOT A BAD GUY!!! I wish you'd actually READ what I type and stop turning everything into a circus. If you guys have some kind of problem with that, then for the love of God, tell me what the hell the problem is!)

Shadow stopped in front of the real pirates. They were invading the evacuated buildings and taking food, although they were still quite drunk. At least the screams had died down.

"There are Alliance guilds around here, what's taking them so long!?" he wondered. "Oh well, no time to ask them for help."

And with that, Shadow drew his sword and went into a building after a group of pirates. One of them looked at Shadow in anger; it was the same one that he'd kicked away before. Said pirate charged at Shadow clumsily; he merely sidestepped and tripped the drunk. That prompted the other three pirates in the room to charge at him, all at once. That was the problem; Shadow just stepped out of the doorway and all the pirates got stuck in it since they were charging all at once.

Shadow smirked and took out his metal hammer, using it to knock the pirates for a loop and sending then sprawled out on the ground inside the building. "Well, that's four down... they must be all over the place. I can't do this alone." He took this opportunity to run off to one of the Alliance guilds, hopefully where he could get some extra muscle.

The SeptaNPC squad were already on their way out when they ran into Shadow.

Nooby, being the noob that he is, yelled "ol" (out loud) saying "zomg where did u com from//!? he said as he lost the close quotation marks.

He was helped back up by a bunch of crabs from crabman.

Shadow fell down as well after running into Nooby. "What're you people doing here!? Do you realize the danger you're in!?" he scolded before seeing a real pirate stumbling out of a doorway, cutlass drawn and charging at the people. Shadow drew his sword and blocked the attack, then booted the drunken pirate to knock him out. "Get out of here before you get hurt!" he said, glaring back at the others. He then ran into the house where the pirate came out of.

(They are part of the police squad...SL. Pay attention.)

"Woah, hold it kid." Said Creedy, "If anyone should be gone, it's you. We're the special forces, son." He said in a very highly authoritative voice.

"Crabman, Hammer, you stay with him. Bobby Bootleg, check who he kicked. Spaceless, go jam the door. Nooby, stop being a noob."

"Sir, this pirate is one of the escaped circus pirates, the ones who escaped three months ago! This one's name is...Johnson. No wonder he escaped. What kind of a crappy name is that? His name could have been Jack Swallows or something..." said the king of bootlegs.

"Good job, you and everybody else go handle the others outside, I need to talk to this boy."

The others left.

"Now, I've heard you've been a naughty boy..." He said as the door was shut behind the others.

Meanwhile Kitsune was sitting around, thinking of what to do with his shapeshifting powers, whether to actually use them for something like recon, or just waste his time tricking people. Knowing the men of the village, he could easily get a good laugh out of what he could do with them, but...

Shadow stopped when he saw no pirates inside. He grunted and turned around, only to see his way blocked. "Now, I've heard you've been a naughty boy..." the man said.

Shadow just raised an eyebrow. "And just who are you supposed to be, another of the pirates wrecking the town?"

That time it was Creedy's turn to raise an eyebrow? "Excuse me? These are pirates in a play."

Shadow twitched, then smacked his forehead. "This town is full of fools! Yes there are pirates in the play, but at the same time a bunch or real pirates started attacking the town! Drunk, but still attacking. I'm not trying to cause trouble, old man, I'm trying to prevent it. Now get out of my way; I need to get to the Alliance guilds and get some help before this gets any worse." Shadow explained.

"Son, we arethe Alliance guild." He said still in a calm and straightforward manner.

"These pirates are real, yes. They escaped from a circus where they received pirate training, for an act. But now they're using it. They're not drunk, they're just not well trained. Now let us handle it. You can come if you want. Nooby, you stick with the kid."

They cleared the doorway, but Crabman and Hammer had already had most of the pirates bagged in black bags and hand cuffed. The tough pirate who was left seemed to fight better than the others.

Nooby said "dude, tis guy iz lk...the bst fighters everest..."

The man turned to Shadow "You can handle him son, we'll do the paperwork."

All seven just watched Shadow, to see what he was capable of.

Kitsune decided he would try out his shape shifting techniques, to that of a woman. But, for this to happen he would have to have someone to trick. Or do something notable while shape shifted.

He looked around town for something to do, with the power of shape shifting.

Shadow raised an eyebrow; he didn't like being given orders like that, especially since he probably outranked these people. But he figured he'd play along. "He must be their boss. Perhaps beating him will make them run off." Shadow murmured.

He looked the pirate over, only he didn't really look like a pirate. He was dressed in a light blue cloak that looked strangely familiar to him, too familiar for his liking. He didn't like what he sensed from him, either; magic power. He was also armed with two blades that formed a "7" shape, one on each hand.

"You're... not a pirate, are you?" Shadow asked. "Just who are you?"

He was silent, just charging at Shadow obvously not wanted to talk. He moved fast, almost too fast for Shadow to dodge, but he managed to do so with a cartwheel. The mysterious attacker stayed on top of Shadow's movements for a little while until he finally got around to drawing his sword again and blocking his attack. Shadow noticed some kind of necklace flow out of the cloak, a simple chain with a symbol.

Shadow freaked when he saw that symbol. "Th, that necklace..." The "pirate" took advantage of this distraction and kicked Shadow in the face, knocking him back, but he rolled to his feet. "I thought you looked familiar! The necklace has Z's symbol on it! You're one of his goons!"

The person winced at having his identity found out; no need to hide anymore. He snapped his fingers, and on command a spike of ice shot out at Shadow. He quickly drew his shield to block it.

"Yup, that's one of the sorcerers alright... what on Earth would one of them be doing in this place?"

Hammer slammed Nooby's "o" button into place...

"oo not cool man. tis guy shoots ice and stuff lol"

They sat and watched the sorcerer fight Shadow. Just watching, every movement, seeing how they both fought. Crabman was too busy playing with crabs.

Kitsune ended up upon the scene behind the squad. He could shape shift into the general for the hell of it, but he was busier figuring out why the heck Shadow is just thinking instead of fighting.

Shadow glared at the sorcerer, inspecting him. "The Ice Sorcerer, Koran... what would someone like you be doing with a bunch of ragtag pirates? Don't you have to babysit Z?"

Koran was silent for a moment, not pleased with that insult. "Hardly..." he said, his trademark Ice Armor forming on him. "Z sent me to keep an eye on you. The pirates just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time."

"So you're babysitting me? Huh. You wanna know what I do with babysitters? Make them cry!" Shadow said, charging at Koran. He did the same, but at the last moment Shadow jumped up. Koran wondered why he chickened out, hearing a fizzing sound below him. He looked down to see a bomb that Shadow dropped there, which exploded under his feet sending him flying back. Shadow continued te onslaught with his metal hammer, striking Koran in the chest and sending him plummeting to the ground. Shadow was smriking, but then frowned upon seeing his ice armor unscathed. "A direct hit from my hammer and it's not even scratched. I've gotta do something about the ice if I'm gonna beat him."

"I'll skewer you!" Koran moved his palm to face Shadow, and a large number of ice spikes blasted out from his arm, heading right for Shadow. There were too many to block, so Shadow ran, doing all sorts of athletic jumping to avoid them until he was up close to Koran. They then began clashing swords, though Shadow was usually on the defensive since he knew it was futile because he couldn't cut through the Ice Armor.

He finally jumped away and thought, "Wait, that's ice... I have an idea." Shadow then took out a yellow bomb and threw at Koran's face. He used an ice spike from out of his arm to destroy it, but got an unpleasant surprise; it was a flash bomb. The light reflecting through the ice into Koran's eyes blinded him, just long enough for Shadow to get close. He had another weapon out, a red rod with a crystal. "Good-bye." The rod then unleashed a burst of fire. Koran screamed in surprise as the fire blew away his Ice Armor.

Koran jumped away and said, "You'll regret this..." A platform of ice materialized under his feet and he started to fly away. Shadow tried to stop him with a bomb, but Koran fired another bunch of ice spikes at Shadow, making him waste his time dodging them.

Shadow's fist shook in rage. "Shoot!" he cursed as the elemental sorcerer got far away fast. He looked down at the bagged pirates. "Well, at least the town is safe..."

The seven watched as the ice man flew away.

Nooby shook his head in a noob fashion saying "y do they always run away? he couldve finished him lol"

Crabman punched him. "Because, his 'evil' rate would drop if he stayed to the end. He has to fly away. Or run."

Wodahs, who hadn't spoken for awhile....still didn't speak.

The leader said, "Are you content, son? You got your fighting, now go to sleep or something." He said as the seven of them turned around and headed back to the station.

Kitsune, on the other hand, had been busy hiding and practicing looking like different people. But he decided he could have an alternate alias that could be used if he had to commit a crime or sorts.

No crime came to mind, so he stayed in his current form.

Shadow scoffed at them as they left. "If only they knew who I was, they wouldn't be so rude..." he muttered. He then sat down on the ground; the whole ordeal had left him a little winded. His thoughts drifted to Koran and the other sorcerers. "Damn them..."

Shadow watched on in horror as his house was burning to the ground. His anger seethed at the ones standing in front of his house, holding large sacks of his stolen stuff. They all wore cloaks, and he could tell that these people were evil. Their leader, someone dressed in black, just smiled sadistically and left with his underlings. Shadow was left to cry; he was only a kid, and he lost everything to a bunch of freaks. It was only a matter of time before the Alliance saw this fire and arrested him for his crimes...

"I'll make them pay... they ruined my life, and I'll make them pay for it..." he muttered, angry and crying a bit at the same time. Then something set off his senses for magic. He looked straight at Kitsune, feeling his demonic energy. "How long have you been there?"

[Mystic Kitsune]

"I've been here for awhile. Your emotion keeps fluctuating. What ales you?" He said, knowing he wouldn't get a truthful response. He was going to leave, but decided to see if he would tell the truth.

He approached Shadow, "You know, those guys were one of the top forces, even if they don't seem like it. They are known throughout the land. Elite and prestigious, they are."

Kitsune looked to make sure he was back in his normal clothes, which he was. That shape shifting wouldn't help if he was in the same clothes as before.

[SL the Pyro]

"Heh... I guess I can tell you; it might help..." Shadow said, sighing. "I was once a troublemaker, one of the most notorious theives in Uradiel. My hauls was spectacular, and I gave the soldiers the slip every time. But then they appeared..." He paused. "The elemental sorcerers... they need a lot of riches fast, apparently, and they heard of me. They found my hideout and burned it to the ground, taking all my stolen stuff with them. The fire gave the Alliance a major smoke signal that they traced right back to me..."

"I spent the next few weeks in a cell, until one of the Generals came up to me. He said I had skill, and that I should start using my traits for good, so I could repay my debt to society... I wasn't lying when I said I was with the Alliance; I am high-ranking. I just don't know how I got that sweeping badge."

"On my spare time I try to track down the sorcerers. That was the only one I've seen in a while, other that Z of course... they're pure evil. I don't know what they're planning, but I've made it my duty to stop them and their schemes, even if it means the death of me." Shadow finished explaining. "I don't know whether it's vengance or a good cause that drives me; all I know is that Z has to be stopped."

[Mystic Kitsune]

"Notorious thief. What does that past sound familiar?" Kitsune said in a half trance, while he was in thought. He was amazed that Shadow bothered to talk at all. He was expecting a lie. But for all he knows that could be a lie which he was just told.

Kitsune turned to be able to practice shape shifting. He needed to find some open empty home, or just a dark alleyway. Also a change of clothes. He quietly walked away pondering on a place to go and clothes to get.

[Steel Samurai]

Steel popped up next to Kitsune. "Enough boring soliloquys already. Kitsune, let's skedaddle. There's a couple other shops we need to visit. And a few people to call upon." With that, he turned around and left, walking down the main road towards a large building at the end with a large sign on it declaring it to be the "Finest purveyor of silk socks in the world"

[Mystic Kitsune]

"Yeah yeah...they have any pretty dresses?" He said as they kept walking.

[Steel Samurai]

"I'm sure, but please try to restrain yourself from living your sick fantasies while I'm traveling with you. It's somewhat disturbing." Steel stepped through the lacily curtained door of the shop.

[Mystic Kitsune]

"Meh, Sick fantasies is the life of a Kitsune. But it's more for trickery and such. Besides -" he got cut off by the sight he saw. Or was seeing. He didn't know what he saw, but it made him shut up for sure.

"I Think I'll stop in this town..."

"Are ye sure? 'Tis place here seem to be a bit...Bah! I don' know! Errr...bad."

"Hmm? Well, I've been traveling with your troupe for a while now, I feel I had to seperate off and kinda keep on with my journey you know."


Germanlink had been traveling with a couple of Nomads for a long while now, and he felt this was finally the time where he should set off on his own.

"Hey, I'm gonna take one of your horses ok? I kinda need it."

"Bah! You wouldn't be needin' no horse if ye wasn't leavin'!"

"But I am."

Both Germanlink and the Leader of the nomads, Arnold, smiled to each other.

"Well, if I cannot convince ya, then I might as well help ye out...take the horse"

And so, Germanlink entered the city along with his horse beside him and a lance hanging over his shoulder. He was halted at the city's entrance by what seemed to be guards, but was evetually let in after Germanlink had paid a hefty amount of gold to them.

"It seems no matter how suspicious you may look, money always saves you from any bind...I need new clothes." Germanlink said to himself.

On a side thought, Kitsune randomly thought: "Does the arrival of a goat really stop the evil intentions of shadow creatures and a certain quest to do something? Time seems to have frozen, evil seems to have cowered into the shadows, and...well, I should bring a Goat along next time...damn..."

[SL the Pyro]

Shadow just sat on the ground boredly, the same spot where he was since he fought the Water Sorcerer Koran; the pirate crisis averted, he really had nothing else to do but wait for his ride back to Ur'Almen. "C'mon... where are they!? They're 2 hours late!" he muttered. He then heard a horse neigh in the distance, at the town outskirts. Interested, Shadow got up and walked over there. He saw a wagon with the symbol of Uradiel on it and smiled. "About time!"

A couple of guards hopped out of the wagon and approached Shadow, saluting him. "Greetings, Sir." they both said. Shadow returned the salute.

"We apologize for being late, Sir, we ran into some resistance on the way." one of the guards said.

Shadow cocked an eyebrow. "What kind of resistance?"

"Vanadiel resistance." the other guard answered. Shadow's eyes went wide in surprise. "They had a base camp right along our path, so we had to find a way around it. It made no sense to me why they'd pop up out of nowhere like that..."

Shadow let out a hard sigh. "There's only one reason I can think of. Our worst fears have been realized... the war must be starting." he theorized. "Wonderful, just wonderful... I finally get a good lead on the elemental sorcerers, and Vanadiel picks now to start preparing for battle." He thought for a moment, then addressed the guards. "Let's not waste any time then. If the generals don't know about this base camp now, then I'm sure they'll want to know about it ASAP. Let's move!"

"Yes, Sir!"

Shadow and the two guards hopped into the wagon and the driver racked the reigns on the horses, causing them to neigh and run from the town. "I hate war more than anything... it all just seems so pointless; why can't Uradiel and Vanadiel just work out their problems like civilized nations?" Shadow thought. He then folded his arms. "Oh well... whatever the reason, if they want a fight, I'll give them one to protect my people. They've forgiven me for my crimes, and I'll repay that debt. Besides, the sooner this is over with, the sooner I can get back to hunting the sorcerers." Shadow then decided to get some much-needed rest as the wagon rode back to Ur'Almen.

In front of him was a large circular room with a domed ceiling, with pink decoration and trim. All around were shelves and racks of lace and silk goods of all shapes, sizes, and descriptions. Steel ignored them and went to the back, weaving his way around piles of undergarments. He spoke to the attendant.
"I'd like to see your special stock please."
The slight young man rolled his eyes and turned, pointing Steel in the direction of a pink door which said "Staff only". Steel thanked the man and stepped through the door into darkness.

Staff only. Oh well, if Steel's going in, he might as well too.

What's with all the shopping anyway? Seems to be the only thing to do these days...

After a very long pause just inside the door, Steel walked in.
"Damn this filler is boring." He thought to himself. "If only SL was here to bully. Oh well."
All around him were racks and racks of weaponry, containing every imaginable type of weapon. The long, narrow corridor ran parallel to the walls of the main room of the shop. Steel turned to Kitsune.
"See anything interesting?"

[Mystic Kitsune]

"I see nothing more interesting than this boring filler comment." Kitsune shook his head while telling Steel.

"Maybe we should start a commotion in the city!" Kitsune said feeling very demon like...or, rather, bored. A commotion is always fun.

[Steel Samurai]

"You don't have any mortal enemies around here do you? Like, ones which we could beat up or kill to make this more interesting?"

Steel picked up the various weaponry he needed and they left the shop.

"I guess going out of the shop helps things speed up a bit."

Kitsune pulled out a list of people who owe him something. All names were crossed off, some with red ink and some with black. Deceased or paid. Oh well.

He then pulled out his keyboard to check if all the keys were still there. Caps Lock...Shift...Ctrl...Alt...Delete...what happened to the PrtSc?! Oh right. He exchanged it for the shift key a while back.

He pulled out the cities' most wanted list...it was listed in categories of Name and Species, it seemed to be last written down at the station on their first arrest or once they learned their name, it seemed that most criminals were...

Kitsune put the list away disappointed in what used to be innocent mountain creatures. He always wonders how they became this evil
