One thing I can't help but notice is... how do regular citizens of Hyrule Castle Town get to and from Lake Hylia without using such... well... dangerous mini-games?

Especially since the people apparently
Spoiler : click to show/hide
pray to Lanayru quite often, since some soldiers mention how the people are complaining they can't go to the spring (when the province is covered in Twilight)...

I'm pretty sure Link is not the only client of that game shooting people up and out of the lake (I'm sorry but I can't be bothered to remember his name).

Rather I'd like to know how they get in without diving from a considerable height...

DON'T TAKE EVERYTHING SO SERIOUSLY :P

I'M NOT, YOU MANCHIMP.

In any case, your 'it's called a joke, coinilius' reply was all so serious and deadpan to what was just a silly reply to a joking concept, unless you were being equally tounge in cheek with that post, it struck me as very funny that you were taking it all so seriously ;)

Hi. I'm called tone. You cannot hear me over the internet, so it's sometimes hard to discern sarcasm. However, I have a friend. He's called common sense. He told me that sometimes, if a person is liable to joke around, then maybe, just maybe, you shouldn't take them seriously or think that they are taking you seriously. Because they may end up thinking you're somewhat *insane*.

:D

Stay away, you madly grinning freak of nature.

Disclaimer: FYXE IS RARELY EVER SERIOUS. Deadpan does not equal serious. Deadpan is a form of humour. LEARN THE FUNNY.

Rather unsafe, don't you think? And impractical, seeing as people go there for water or some such nonsense.

Besides, both Fyer and what's-his-name make it sound quite clearly as if they've never had clients before and that their "attractions" are for amusement only.

Deadpan is not only a form of comedic delivery, it's also used to describe any situation where a person says or does something in an impassive/feelingless way. LEARN THE FUNNY to you too ;)

And in case you haven't discerned it, I've been quite flippant myself in these posts. I'd add some kind of smiley to make sure you know that I haven't been taking any of this seriously and just enjoying your reactions, but 1) I don't think there's a smiley that quite covers all that, and 2) you seem to have an aversion to smilies.

Edited to remove an inadvertent smiley in my sentence about not using a smiley

Link is probably the only schmoe in Hyrule not smart enough to just take the elevator out back :P

I know the funny. How dare you deride my funny-making abilities.

I was clearly being deadpan in a funny way. We're in a topic primarily about Goron nipples. How can anyone take it seriously? RECOGNISE THE FUNNY.

BLAH.

Smilies are ugly, generic and degenerative to the English language and eliminate the intelligence needed to discern meaning from language, thus making people into dribbling idiots.

Mainly it's the ugly thing, though. They're ugly as sin. My face is not a perfect, bald circle with freaky inhuman eyes and skin colour that makes me look undead/seriously sunburnt. Thankfully. People mock me every now and again for being a furry fan, but there's far worse things. The plague of the perverted, twisted smilies prevade the internet and aim to eliminate our very language as we know it.

BLAH! BLAH!

Now we're being vampires?

But I wasn't seriously deriding your funny-making abilities, just saying you shouldn't deride someone else's based on false funny information.

As for smilies - what were all those '¬.¬' things you were using if not basically a smilie?

They're not ugly. I rather like some text-based smilies. They're vaguely clever and they have an element of imagination to fill in the gaps. They're not fugly round balls with stupidly exaggerated expressions on them that make the user look like a nitwit.

I'm not aiming this at anyone, just the evil, evil smilies and their insertion into internet culture and the fact that every scrub looks like every other scrub when they're used.

I am not particularly fond of the sideways smilies either, mind you. They're just annoying.

As for Lake Hylia, I think people either drop buckets in from the bridge above and winch them up (bit far, though), or just use the cannon. Wait. Don't they have running water? They probably just have some pipes somewhere.

Now that I agree with.

Hmm, that's an interesting point about the running water - there would probably be evidence of a pulley system in place if they were using buckets to winch up the water (although I suppose there isn't any evidence of pipe work at Lake Hylia either).

There are three people in Hyrule Castle Town that run tours to the spirit spring though, aren't there?

Parachutes.

Canoeing down is probably the safest way, though. They can get the Zora apprentice to pull them back up when they want to return.

People describe cars as sexy too, but that doesn't (usually) mean they actually want to have sex with them ;)

Except this is Fyxe we're talking about here. C'mon!

Hey, like you wouldn't do the dirty with Ruto.

Wait, not you SOAP, I know *you* wouldn't. Um. You can have, um... King Zora. XP

Showsni's explanation sounds like the best so far... and I guess the touring guys in Castle Town have a similar solution. Maybe.

Just out of curiosity now... what means do we have to tell Agitha's legal? (In case it isn't clear, I'm just trying to drag on the jokes now )

I don't even know. She can be anywhere from her early teens to early twenties. She could one of those crazy twenty-something girls that act and dress below their age. Either way she's a cutie and her bizarre bug fetish makes even hotter.

Fair enough...

Was anyone else a little concerned with the welfare of those insects though? Some of things she wanted to do to them... Poor bugs!!

And did anyone else try to leave her house when you had a bug you didnt give to her? MAN that was creepy...

I thought Agitha was fun!

Agitha always seemed to me that she would have been legal, but dressed up younger looking as part of her whack job personality. I think the players guide says she's in her early teens - if she is, that makes the stalker guy looking through her window at her pretty disturbing as well.

I absolutely LOVE Agitha. She is so adorable in every way! *_* And she's so sweet! I should learn something from her...

I also think it might be possible she is a lot older than she seems. She reminds me a lot of Yukari Tamura, who is 29 at the time of this video:

Agitha's eyes seem kind of droopy too, so that could be a hint at her age. Or maybe it's just here eye shape.

King Zora? That's the best you could come up with? What about, uhm... er... maybe Japas? Evan? A random Zora gaurd?

Oooo yeah Japas could tune my pipe any time! <3
