So if any of you are still holding out for the Gamecube TP because you're worried about the controls, you have nothing to fear.

What? I had a feeling you'd have a Wii, but how on earth did you get TP so early?I just finished the first dungeon in TP and I am happy to report that my fears of the Wiimote hindering the gameplay were unfounded. The Wii remote works great, although I wouldn't call it an improvement over a traditional controller (yet.) However, I found targeting (selecting targets with the boomerang, slingshot) to be easier and a lot more fun with the remote.

Yes, IGN and Gamespot and dozens of other gaming sites would have release dates for you to check on, as well as reviews and scoring and what not. What did TP get, again? An 8.8? XP

There's no chance in hell of my Wiidom. My dictator Stepfather did the whole 'This is the last expensive thing I'm ever buying you / you're too old for video games" b.s.
He's 48, i'm 18.
He was a mario addict on NES ten years ago.
Asshole.

my social security will get revoked... :-(
EDIT - it's not a big deal, I'll be able to scrape out the money from social security to get Twilight Princess for my cube I got from the skin of my teeth...and at this point, that'd be the only game I'd want to get at this point...
plus i'm put off by the wiimote, a little bit....
and the fact that we have videogames so we don't have to move.
EDIT2- I just got upgraded to Sorcerer!

If you're playing Twilight Princess then my suggestion is to use your arm a bit more. Don't worry, there's not enough sword swinging to tire you outMy wrist hurts
I abused my Wii too much.

If it's not Zelda... then I honestly don't know which game would put so much emphasis on your wrist rather than your arms. My arms are actually quite sore after an hour of Rayman Raving Rabbids

Well, after 18 years involving 28 surgeries narrowing and narrowing down the problem...
I need a kidney transplant.... at this point, that's all that's left.
I've had the following though.
-kidney / bladder stones
-blown holes in my bladder (not pretty)
-there was some wierd bag thing when I was younger i don't remember...
-Failed kidney transplant in February of this year... well, didn't fail, technically, but it's a long story.
lots of stuff, that this really isn't the place to discuss... Thanks for askin though, it's no problem.

1) You're father is both a jerk and a moron to not realize just how popular the Wii will become. I've heard that most adults want it, too.
2) You've had THAT many health problems? Lordy, that sucks...
Green Goblin: *smacks forehead* You're supposed to move the Wiimote around, not stroke it...

I've also progressed in Red Steel to the point of where I'm finally in Japan. The graphics seem to have been brought out more, and the sword fights are becoming more engaging. I also just learned the "Focus Time" technique, so I'm looking forward to more gun fights.

The very moment I set eyes upon Red Steel, I thought, 'That has got to be the worst looking game I've seen all year'.
Reviews and gameplay videos tell me that I'm probably right.
I want a Wii so bad. SO BAD! While everyone else is playing Zelda, I'm here, twidling my thumbs. And to add insult to injury, my hopes that the Wii version would be horrible have been thwarted. Everyone's raving about the controls.
Ah, Nintendo, why do you torment me?
