Z felt satisfied when he saw Motoko crying. "Ah, music to my ears. I've done enough damage for a while. Time to go."
Koran took out a purple pendant from his cloak. It glowed bright purple, and a portal similar to the previous one opened. Koran jumped through. Z turned back before stepping through. "If anything, you should be glad. Now you won't have to put up with me for a while." Z glared at the three girls. "But you'd better hope that our paths don't cross again anytime soon, because I won't hesitate to destroy you... fare-the-well!"
Z bowed, turned around and jumped through the portal. It closed behind him.
(Z and Koran disappear from the RP now, but you can expect that they'll be back.)

Lena then went down to reach Motoko, and brushed away a falling tear down her cheek. She almost felt like crying, seeing her face in such misery. Now what was to happen to them? They were on an island in the middle of storm, twilight was approaching, and they had a comrade somewhere on the mountains. How would they be back together again?

“Damnit. More trouble?”
He landed in front of Motoko, Gabriel and Lena.
“What happened here? Is everyone alright?”
Perseus looked around.
“Where’s Kitsune?”

Suddenly, the jewel on the necklace that Kitsune gave her started to glow

[I'll reintroduce Z into the story when he gets a good chance. But not so soon after he left, please.]
Sorry. XP
Motoko was still in tears as Perseus flew back down and talked to them, looking at the three of them on the ground.
“Damnit. More trouble?”
"I'm sorry to say, but there was. Z wasn't helping us at all. He had left with some other being, and now is in search for the crimson chest himself" (OC: I think that's what he's doing now, right everyone?)
“Where’s Kitsune?” Perseus said after hearing Lena's words. Lena paused, she didn't want to say in front of Motoko, but she did anyway.
"He...he was teleported up somewhere in the northern mountains, and it will be awhile before we can even reach him. I feel so useless right now, I could have stopped Z before he left, but for some reason I couldn't...and he got away." She seemed to fade out as she spoke to him.
But then Motoko said something...
"Kitsune...I..." And a burst of bright light came from her necklace. Lena's eyes shot open, and turned around to face Motoko. The blinding light didn't bother her at all, as she relaxed and then put her hands on her cheeks, feeling the soothing energy from the girl. My my, she thought. This girl does have some spiritual powers...I could probably teach her a thing or two about channeling them in a controllable burst.
She remained silent as they both stayed still, Feeling the harnessing power that came from the jewel. The ends of her hair started to flow behind her..

“It is my duty, I have no personal interest in the chest.” Ken responded to the woman’s comment.
“Oh?” she spoke back, with a mild curiosity. She walked up to the boy and eyed him more. “Roll up your left sleeve,” she commanded.
Ken did so, revealing the Forbidden Fortress tattoo.
“So, the Pirate Admiral DarkJuno sends another…”
Ken gulped.
Another? he thought.
The women turned to some work she had been doing.
“… Well, if you want to get that chest, it will take more than that sword.” She said, pointing at the Wolfen. She stared into Ken’s eyes, psyching him out, reading him like a book.
“You know there is something terrible on this island don’t you?” the woman spoke with a chuckle, “Good, then you are not like the other idiots he had sent.”
“Just tell me where I can find it.” Ken stated, his voice fluctuating slightly.
“You will have to find a cave on the southwest side of the island, inside a thick group of dead and dying trees.” She stated, with a slight smirk.
“And then, what do I do?” Ken asked.
The old woman launched into a poem.
“Within the seven prayers
A fragment guards the first part
A part of the forbidden.
The bloody wolf howls for rest
Awaiting a great spirit
That his agony may go.
Recite the seven prayers
That you may calm the great beast
And give the fragment mercy.”
Ken stood there, absorbing the lines into memory.
“… Is that it?” he asked.
“Yes. Now if you do not mind, I have things to do.” The woman spoke flatly.
As Ken turned to leave, the women’s eyes glanced him over again.
“One more thing before you go boy, what’s your name?” she asked.
“It’s Ken. Ken Miyamasa.” The other answered.
“… Hmm. Well, happy hunting.” The women said back.
Ken went out, heading to the southwest part of the island.
* * *
The old woman sat there for a moment, trying to think.
“Miyamasa… Ken Miyamasa… Wait… That was also his name! But it can’t be… I thought he had no family…”

“It seems everyone in this small fellowship has magical abilities. I am learning something new about you all every day.”
Lena seems to be absorbing the power from that necklace… I wonder…
Perseus sat on the sand, wings outstretched, to absorb the sun on his back.
“Well… I say the only thing to do now is to look for Ken and try to help him find that chest. I’m sure he could use some companions. And is anybody else hungry?”
Perseus’ stomach rumbled

What is it that the Admiral wants? What is in that chest? the boy thought to himself.
As he continued onward, Ken got a worse and worser feeling that something was definitely wrong. He had a minor sense of detecting aura which let him know something bad was here--and that sense was letting him know that whatever tainted this island, he was walking right towards it.
____________________________________
(OOC: I decided to tack on some extra stuff to help keep the story going.)
Ken had gone on for quite a while not stopping for food or rest. He was even beginning to slip up, tripping over a few times.
He had just tripped over a stone, and was trying to bring himself back up, but his arms buckled from the fatigue.
"Damn, I will not be weak, I will not be weak..." he recited.
He tried to get up again, falling flat again. He was about to try again when a familier voice spoke in his mind.
^Stop, young one.^
"Raiyu... I can't... I must finish my duty..."
^The warrior knows when he is beaten, whither it is by another, or by his own limits.^
"Silver Wolf..."
^Your challenge is one that taints and corrupts. Something that was made from that which cannot exist. Rest and eat, if only for a little while...^
Ken lifted his head and witnessed the vision of the Silver Wolf himself before. The boy also no longer felt that bad feeling. It seemed he was displacing the dark aura around them.
Deciding that he was not going anywhere anytime soon, Ken pulled out the little bit of bread he carried with him and ate it with haste. He did not realize how hungry he was.
^Rest as long as you wish, young one. I shall watch over you until you wake...^
"Thank you... Raiyu..." the boy spoke, the words barely escaping from lips, and his eyes drooping shut.
The guardian spirit held his word and sat by the young swordsman, watching over him and everything around him.

Z flowed along the ground as a shadow, trailing Ken ever since he entered the old woman's home. He too sensed the dark aura, but he didn't care. He could defend himself. "I just wish Koran could assist me..."
*Flashback*
"Sorry, but I'm not yet finished."
"STILL nothing? This is getting hopeless... we've been searching for the ultimate power for so long, and not finding any clues... I used to think it was the Bake-Dao, but not after it was shattered in one hit."
"And that's why I will press on and continue to search. If I find something, I will let you know."
"Alright. Meanwhile, I'll keep an eye on Ken. This 'Crimson Chest' sounds intriguing..."
"Fine. Until next time." Koran disappeared into another portal.
*End Flashback*
Z previously didn't know that Ken worked for DarkJuno; if he of all people wanted the Crimson Chest, then there must be something valuable inside. Perhaps even something pertaining to the ultimate power... Z decided to keep a close eye on Ken, until an opportunity presented itself... it was unlikely that Z would be detected, anyway, thanks to the other dark aura on this island. Z could go circles around Ken and his spirit blade without them noticing.

Suddenly, Motoko heard a voice.
"You wish to be with the one you love, young one?"
Y-Yes....
"That cannot be so. For the half-demon, Kitsune, is no longer within my reach"
But--!
"There is, however, one more of your companions that is."
All four of them were warped to the area where Ken was lying

"Now HOW did that happen? Z thought, then he noticed Motoko's bow glowing with a slight, sky-blue aura. "The bow... interesting... but definately a problem. I'll have to be extra cautious not to reveal myself now that the geek partol is here..."

Loking around, Motoko saw a silver wolf. Although it was the first time she's seein it, there was something familiar....

Z, too, noticed the wolf, but didn't give it a second thought. It had some of Ken's aura, and seemed to be on his side, and that was all he needed to know.

She quickly stood up and, without taking her eyes off the wolf, took a step toward it. It didn't move. She took another step. The same result. Finally, she bowed to it. "Hajimemashite she said to the silver quadroped

Raiyu slowly turned his head to Motoko. Though his lupine visage held a neutral expression, his voice spoke warmly in the girl's mind.
^Pleased to meet you as well, Motoko the Kami-Dao.^
The silver wolf kept his gaze locked, the only thing on his body that seemed to move was his shining fur in the low wind.
[Anyone is free to have heard Raiyu speak into Motoko's mind if they want.]

Bowing before it, she greeted it with respect, and looked back into the ice blue eyes it had. They somehow brought warmth into Lena. As it was, she had tried to bond the energies of her and Motoko together, which may have triggered the teleportation. But until later, she could say how.
"Greetings, Wolf" She said, as it asked also welcomed Motoko.

Shutup!
Button's body had been running full speed in a random direction, but all of a sudden his right foot flew out from under him and he fell on his face, only to immediately jump up and continue running.
Testy, aren't we? Oh, good man, you passed up the opportunity to save someone's life and now it's come back to haunt you. I'm going to finish the job you started a long time ago.
You evil...maniacally, egotistical PARROT!
My friend, flattery will get you nowhere
Button's body picked up a scent, and strange sounds nearby. It came to a stop and ducked low among the trees, and then silence was heard ever after.

"Alright, this is getting ridiculous. So many mystics in one place... I could probably take them, but I haven't the time for a drawn-out battle..." Z thought to himself. "I'd better not risk staying to close to them for too long..."
Z slid closer to Ken's sleeping body. "I will possess Ken for a moment and read his mind for the information I need, then scram before the spirit wolf notices. This won't take long..."
Being careful that no one would directly notice, the shadows of Z slowly slid into Ken's body. Z wasted no time in scanning his mind.

His eyes were deep and passionate like they had seen a thousand years come and go.
Perseus stared, feeling the wolfs mind probe his. He flinched, knowing he was naked before the majestic animal.
The wolf’s gaze first went to Lena, then he turned Motoko, staring at her as if he was saying something. He then looked at Gabriel, a slight grin coming on both their faces. And finally he turned to Perseus, and spoke to his mind.

"....."
Suddenly, she felt a warmth that flowed through her very being. With it, was a familiar presence. Kitsune.....? Are we......connected...? But before she could find out the answer, she fainted.
"Motoko!!!" Gabriel screamed as she ran to her daughter and held her in her arms

^Fool.^ he stated simply.
The wolf looked at Ken.
^It appears you will not have as much time as would be liked young one.^
Raiyu laid a paw on the boy's sleeping body.
^Accept the form of your guardian, young one, that you may run with haste.^
Ken began to stir, and Raiyu turned the others.
^That fool risks releasing an insanity upon himself. Only the Wolfen can defeat the fragment.^
Ken was envoloped in a small sheet of light. The light faded, and revealed Ken in the form of a wolf, just as he had when he first met Aiden. He looked almost identical to Raiyu, though a bit smaller, and his fur a more platinum-white, like his hair, and his facial tattoos appearing as discolored fur. The only other artificial object that remained was a morphed wolfen. The blade was now shorter, and split into four: A short spike existed where the handle once was, two curved blades come out the side of the guard, and the main part of the blade was now shorter. The morphed sword hovered inches above Ken's back.
Ken was now awake and confused, not sure what to do, but looked up at Raiyu.
^Go, now!^ The Silver Wolf spoke before dissolving away into the wind.

Z also sensed something very strange. "What the... something is drawing pure life energy inside the cave... I wonder, could there be some kind of guardian? Or maybe a monster looking for a home? Or maybe in the chest itself. In any case, I believe I may have found my deliverance from those fools..." Z thought sinisterly. He flowed in the cave, ready to investigate further...
