"I'll have a pear if you got any?" Lena asked, as Germanlink tossed over a pear to her, and ate it slowly.

So now we have to find this ship, she thought to herself. The salty breeze blew around her, her hair twisting behind her.

Kitsune was on the upper deck, endlessly staring out at the vast sea. He couldnt spot any ship yet, which he was growing impatient for. He heard everyone conversing on the lower deck, but he didnt bother listening to what they were saying.

The sky was now a darkish blue color, and getting brighter by the minute.

Daybreak... Kitsune thought to himself as he was staring out and thinking what to do if he does make it to the Forsaken Fortress...

[Happy Monday, everyone!!!]

Motoko, now gaining all of her composure, was standing at the bow of the ship. Her eyes were fixated on the waters before her. She smiled and took out her flute once again. I have no idea what to play, but my heart's telling me to she thought and placed it at her mouth. She then closed her eyes and the notes flowed out of her with heart and passion

Flute music? Kitsune turned to where the sound was coming from, to see Motoko playing.

Finally awake, eh? I havent heard that flute music ever since...I was still in the woods...

With her soothing music, Kitsune quietly walked up to her.

"Sorry to interrupt your song...but, where did you learn this music from, anyway?" Kitsune asked in a very calm manner.

"That music. It sounded like something I heard when I was much younger, back in Taiyo..." Kitsune said silently as he stood staring out to sea with Motoko standing next to him.

He then realized they had been holding hands this whole time, but instead of jerking his hand away as he usually does, he left his hand as it was.

"Keh. This doesnt mean anything..." He said in a reassuring tone as he turned around.

He was just staring into her eyes as she played away.

"They're beautiful." Motoko said suddenly. She then noticed his confusion and giggled. "Your eyes. They're very beautiful."

[Mystic Kitsune]

"Eh?...Keh! Of course they are...eyes of a fox...half of one at least" He said as his voice trailed off.

He wasnt used to these type of situations. He had no idea what to say. He had a slight blush, but, his past experiences had taught him to hide it. Or most of it at least.

"...eh...um...you have nice eyes too..." were the silent words that came out of his mouth.

This is not like me...whats with this girl?!

She only blushed and smiled at him once again. "Thank you." Then after a few moments, Motoko leaned toward Kitsune and gave him a shy kiss on his left cheek

He had a heavier blush now. The softness of her shy kiss made his heart rush.

He was a feeling a degree of happiness, but then came a thought that brang him sorrow...

"Motoko...the Kaze-dao...if I were to get it...would anything happen to you?" Kitsune asked in a curious and worried tone at the same time...

She was surprised by the question. "I....don't know. It shouldn't do a thing to me. Or, at least, I don't think it would." She then wrapped her arms around his waist in a hug and rested her head on his shoulder

He felt the gentleness and compassion of her arms as they wrapped around his waist. He said nothing, and gave her a return hug.

The Kaze-dao...if I were to draw it...what use would there be If I cant use it to protect someone special to me?

After thinking, he whispered into her ear: "The ship that pirate promised us will come shortly...while on it, and afterward, I want you to stay with me. I wouldnt want you getting harmed..."

"(Okay, Kitsune-kun.)" she whispered back. I wouldn't want to, anyway Motoko then closed her eyes and blocked out all noises from her ears other than Kitsune's heartbeat

He let go slowly and gently. He removed the necklace he had, and put it on Motoko.

"Take it. It was a keepsake of my late father. Its said to bring good fortune to the wearer. Keh, I dont believe it, but the emerald on the necklace would suit you well." He said while he turned around to walk off.

When he was near the cabin door, he turned around, "Keh, Arent you coming?" He said, having his original tone of voice returned to him...

OOC: Time skip of about a day. [/ooc]

XI awoke with a start; something he seemed to be doing a lot lately. This time it wasn’t because of dreams, but because of the wobbling mess of a ship he was in. It had been over a day that Steel told XI and Button to take a crew and find a group trying to find their way to the Forsaken Fortress, and XI still hadn’t gotten accustomed to its constant lurching. Sitting awake in bed, XI was surprisingly well-awake in a turn for the odd. In boredom, he thought about the message written on the map Steel had drawn up.

"The boat you're looking for is the Namor. Her crew shouldn't be too tough to handle. Be wary of the 'cargo'," it read. XI had memorized it. Letting his imagination run wild, XI began to wander about what the cargo was. It wasn’t long before his eyes drooped and he found himself back in dream world.

“Wake up, XI!” a pirate yelled in XI’s ear.

“What, what! I’m awake, awake!” XI screeched. Sun shone brightly through the window of the room XI was sharing with three other guys. In a more standard grogginess, XI beat off the pest who woke him up and rose out of bed to find his torn-up clothes.

Before long, XI was out on deck. It was an incredibly peaceful day, and seemed to be about noon. Typical. Still craving a bed, XI rubbed his eyes and walked over to see what was being looked at: a vessel with the name Namor painted on the side in bright, gold letters. Well, if that’s not an indicator, then what is?

“Yo ho ho, y’all!” XI shouted to the Namor, “So you want to get to the fortress, eh?”

"Ahh so you're finally here eh?" Germanlink looked down over to the smaller, much faster-looking pirate ship. He saw a young man with torn clothing yelling at them. Around the young man was a smaller crew. "We finnally get to start moving again." Germanlink grabbed a barrel and jumped off the the ship and used his wind arts to glide over to the pirate vessel.

"Well? what are the rest of you guys waiting for? Get some supplies and get down here so we can finnally get to the fortress.". Germanlink put down the barrel and checked the crew out, even if they had decided to turn on Germanlink and the others, they might have been able to fight outmatch the pirates.

Cap'n Button wasn't right with the thought of bringing the forest folk aboard his ship. Though he didn't care for anyone else, he particularly didn't like them, and what was worse that they were going to the Forsaken Fortress. He stepped out to view the Namor and looked upon it's guests with disgust.

"Alright, let's hurry this up and get them ter the Fortress, though I don't particularly like it that those are coming aboard." said Cap'n Button, and he pointed at one of the forest folk.

Some of the pirate crew also muttered their disgust in outcries of "Arghh!!!" and "Yaaaar" though couldn't find one they agreed with. Nevertheless, Cap'n Button made sure that his crew would help them transfer ships.

"Let's do hurry this up, there might be a long voyage back." He shouted. Then he turned and climbed below deck, muttering all the way.

Ayden quickly made his way down the ropes and began the process of transfering supplies. Somehow he knew that the pirates would scuttle this ship, so he decided to take anything they would need as well as anything he himself found worthy of taking.

There wasn't much though so all he really ended up with was a flask with a leather case. It had been filled with rum. Ayden emptied it onto the deck and after rinsing it out, filled it with water.

With his new toy, he continued working on moving supplies, in a hurry to get done with whatever they were going to have to do.

"Keh. We dont need supplies, they ARE the fastest." Kitsune said looking at the disgusted pirates on the other ship. The only thing Kitsune took along was his sword, and nothing else.

He boarded the other ship, keeping a weary eye on the pirates.

"Keh! Long voyage? I thought you guys were supposed to be the best at sea, and the fastest!" Kitsune said to the captain and his crew.

He quietly just sat in the corner of the upper deck, laying low.

Im just going to be in and out... I have no other buisness with them.

The parchment said to avoid the cargo. So XI had to see what was so special about said cargo. Seemed reasonable. May as well take care of another problem while he was at it.

"You mind coming with me to the other boat for a quick look?" XI asked the pirate who woke him earlier.

"Hm? Oh, sure, why not?" he responded.

Perfect, XI thought.

Managing to switch ships with little hassel, XI found the cargo hold with little effort. Annoyed, XI found Ayden moving things about. Crap! XI thought, He may be taking what I'm looking for!

"Erm, so what are you doing, Mystery-Man-I've-Been-Sent-to-Pick-Up?" XI asked in a pathetic attempt to get some answers.

Germanlink felt the wind starting to blow. His new desert clothes were actually quite comfortable even in the middle of the sea, with the sun hitting him directly. He saw two pirates head back up the larger ship Namor. Germanlink didn't exactly care much for what the two pirates were doing up there, but he wanted to get moving as soon as possible.

"Can we possibly be moving any slower? Hurry up and finish up so we can leave already!" Germanlink yelled in an annoyed tone at the other ship Namor. He looked around and saw the rest of the pirate crew looking at him with an annoyed stare. "Hmm? I just want to hurry up so we can all go on our business, I'm sure the rest of you want to get this over with as soon as possible."

The rest of the pirates looked at each other and decided to agree with Germanlink, even he himself was surprised. They all went to their posts, ready to sail the ship at any given moment. Then the pirate in the crow's nest of the pirate vessel yelled at the other ship, "Arrrgh! XI and Lugaber! Will 'ye be comin' wit' us er not!?"

Gabriel had left Motoko and Kitsune alone so she could take a quick nap.

After a few hours, she finally awakened to the sound of voices. Pirates. They're here she thought. Grabbing only her hammer, burnoose and a sack of food and water, she walked up to the main deck and peered at the smaller boat. With the agility that her family (and curse) has granted her, Gabriel leaped from the Nemor's sturn and over thirty meters of water and landed softly onto the deck of the pirates' boat

This was taking to long. Ayden wasnt here, either was that kid Kitsune saw earlier when boarding.

He calmy got up, told Motoko to stay in one place, walked a few steps, cupped his hands around his mouth, took a deep breath, and...

"HEY! AYDEN! GET OVER HERE ALREADY!" he yelled it loud enough to make the swords on the ship vibrate.

Motoko was a little nervous and frightened of the pirates, but she did as she was told and stayed put. Suddenly, she realized something. "Wh-where are my glasses?"

Kitsune turned around, and held them out. "I had these in my pockets, I put them there when you were asleep, they were making marks on your face...Keh heh ^^"

He then looked at them, to see they were shattered...

"oh...mustve been the shouting..."

Motoko only smiled and wrapped her hands around both her glasses and Kitsune's hand. "That's not important now." She held him close to her. "(The fact that you kept them is.)" she whispered

He took Motoko by the hand back to the corner of the ship. He set her down and sat with her, on a rather defensive stance.

"Keh, you looked better without those glasses anyway. Just stay with me, these pirates dont look like the type to get yourself involved with." He said.

[Paladin Anthony]

Ayden narrowed his eyes seeing straight through Xi's pathetic attempt to hide something. He wanted something that Ayden may have been taken. Sadly, Ayden had found nothing of value, so he simply smiled at Xi. "I was looking for food. Wouldn't want to burden your supplies for a bunch of woodies, right?"

Then he heard Kitsune followed closely by Aiden's exasperated yell. ^I SWEAR! Ayden, let me kill him. PLEASE let me kill him.^ Ayden almost laughed. ^So he's impatient... you two have something in common.^ Aiden's response was ice cold. ^That's not funny.^

Ayden nodded to Xi as he finally left the cargo hold. "Cya on your boat." Ayden bit back the smirk spreading across his face, anticipating Xi's possible reaction to calling his ship a boat.

Moments later he crossed to the other ship. He knew this crew probably wouldn't like him hanging around the sails and such, so he settled in on the main deck.

Motoko blushed. "I--" Her feelings kept getting in the way of her words and she wasn't able to say what she wanted, so she just rested her head on Kitsune's shoulder and closed her eyes

He thought this as he saw Ayden finally come aboard. He just watched him silently.

He started stroking Motoko's hair with his left hand as he watched the crew do their things to get ready for sail.
