Steel turned and faced Ken once more. He sheathed his blade. "Now, Lieutenant, are you ready?"

(Gabe's Post.)

Gabriel leaped from the mast and landed just outside the captain's quarters.
"Let. Him. Go." she ordered. Suddenly, her neck scar started to burn. She gasped when she realized who it was."YOU!!!!" She then quickly unsheathed her katana

Kitsune saw Gabriel go in to engage the warrior. He decided to stand and watch how it goes...

Steel turned. "Ah. The leader of this ragtag bunch. As I told the demon, my business is with Ken, not any of the rest of you. And, I'm not taking him unwillingly. He swore an oath to serve Dark Juno, an oath sworn in blood. I would advise that you not get in our way."
Diel. This was getting out of hand. How had she woken up, anyhow? Must've been the half demon. Curses. Allthough it had been several weeks since Steel's blade was stained with blood, he was in no mood for a protracted duel. For the moment. He simply wished to fulfill his mission and get to the planning of the attack.

"You......!" Gabriel growled a litle, then lowered her blade. "Fine. She stepped out of the way and as Steel and Ken walked past her, she whispered something. "(The next we meet, I shall make you pay!!)"

"If you are so ready to die upon my blade, then, by all means, be sure your conscience is clean and you 've said your prayers to Diel before that time comes, for you shall not get another chance, wench."
Steel slipped a short blade from the sheath at his side and cleanly sliced the Forsaken Fortress tattoo on his upper right arm. He looked expectantly at Ken.

What the hell is this guy doing? Slicing himself like that?

He eyed Gabriel, who was ready to fight...

And what the hell is she thinking?! Going against someone so professional like that?

He took out his sheath, ready to be defensive just in case anyone tried attacking him.

Dammit...whose side am I supposed to take here?! thought the confused half demon...

"My God is not yours!" she spat. She then noticed the strange look from Kitsune. "(What? It's not like he's going to kill me.)" She then gave him a smile. "He didn't before, during the War."

He couldnt take it. If he were to help Gabriel, then his chances of reaching the fortress might never happen.

Then again, if he could help her and save Ken, they can still make it.

But, Steel has a guarantee, where as if it is a failed attempt to save Ken, then there is no guarantee.

This...may be bad on my trust record, but.

He smacked Gabriel down to the ground using the sheath of his sword, and kept his foot on Gabriel's back to keep her on the ground until Steel left the cabin.

Knowing there was going to be a rant about what he just did, Kitsune was prepared.

"Im sorry...Gabriel...I just cant allow you to get Ken back right now..."

[Gabe Puratekuta]

"I.....understand. If our roles were reversed, then I'd do the same."

[Mystic Kitsune]

Kitsune smiled, and lifted Gabriel back up.

"Itll work out Gabriel...I made a deal of sorts with him. And I trust him..."

He then remembered.

"Gabriel, wheres Motoko?"

[Gabe Puratekuta]

"With Lena." As she brushed herself off, Gabriel handed Kitsune her sword. "Here. Until we find the Kaze-Dao, use mine.

[Mystic Kitsune]

He smiled, "Thank you Gabriel..."

When turning around, his impression on Gabriel changed...

All this time I thought shed be the yelling type... Kitsune said.

"Oh, you never told me Gabriel, how exactly, do I...I mean we draw the sword from its pedestal? I heard it had some sort of spell on it..."

[Gabe Puratekuta]

"Well, the legends says that the spell will breal on it's own when one worthy enough touches the hilt."

[Ken the Wandering Soul]

"Just give me a moment to retrieve my sword." Ken said to Steel.

The boy slowly did so, making it clear he intended to co-operate. He then mimiced Steel's action and slid part of the blade on his own tattoo, then sheathing it.

[Mystic Kitsune]

"Worthy..."

Would I be worthy? This blade...picks its own master...I heard it has to be someone worthy to protect a human...

"So, this ship is heading in a certain direction we dont even know about. Any ideas on what to do next?"

[Gabe Puratekuta]

"Only one: We wait for where it takes us." She then looked up a the stars. But I don't know what'll be waiting for us when we get there....

[Mystic Kitsune]

"Wait until it takes us somewhere...Gabriel, do you have a reason to get the Kaze-dao?"

That boat better come Steel...I had to give Ken away for it...

[Gabe Puratekuta]

Gabriel suddenly glanced at him. "Huh? Umm, no. Not really." She jumped onto the roof and layed down, still looking at the stars. "But I don't want this world to be swallowed up by the gates of Hell. Both the spirit and the earth realms must be saved."

"I see. Is Motoko related to this blade in anyway?"

Thats a relief...she doesnt need it. Why am I getting so paranoid about the sword? Its as if its calling me...

He stopped and looked at his blade...

...or maybe im just getting away from this one...

"Yes, and no. Genetically, she's my clone. But since she's also the human representation of the Kami-Dao, which is also the fang of the honorable Demon, her hidden power and the power of the Kaze-Dao together must be used to save both this world and the world of the spirits." She then looked at Kitsune, tears streaming down her face. "But I fear that it might kill her as well...."

"No...no she wont die...she cant!" Kitsune said silently to himself...

This damn sword...is it really worth all the trouble? Ive lost already one of my own...and possibly another may be lost...

Seeing as Gabriel was still tearing, he used his own sleeve to gently wiper her tears away...

He stood at the door way staring out into deep space...and silently mumbled, "dont cry...itll work out..."

"(Thank you.)" she whispered and smiled. Suddenly, she sensed something. Gabriel then quickly jumped off the roof and ran below deck. She skidded to a stop right on front of where Motoko was soundly sleeping.
Motoko slowly opened her eyes and sat up. "What happened...."

Gabriel zoomed right past him, into the lower decks.

"Whats going on?" Kitsune said as he followed her.

He came down to the lower decks to see that Motoko had just waken up.

"Motoko!" Kitsune said with a sudden change from a calm to worried tone. "...are you okay?"

[Gabe Puratekuta]

"I think so....." she said with a groan. "My head feels a little funny, though."
"Can you stand?"
"Yeah." She tried to stand, but lost her footing

"Cant get up eh...Keh."

He lifted motoko up, and carried her in both his arms.

"Ill hold you...for now. Okay? ^^"

Her body...is so warm all of a sudden...it was cold when I was lifting her...

"Come on Gabriel, kets go to the upper cabin..."

Steel drew a seal from a pouch on his belt. He put a spot of blood from both his tattoo and Ken's on each side, and then placed the seal on the ground. He then drew his sword and traced an intricate pattern in the deck of the ship. When it was finished, he and Kenstood in the middle of the circle, and Steel lit the fuse with a match. As the seal burned, the intricate pattern lit up with a blue flame. The flame grew higher and higher, engulfing the two. And then, with a flash, they were gone.

[Paladin Anthony]

The scenes played out below him as Ayden watched from the crows nest. He had vowed to protect Ken, but something in Steel's demeanor said he meant no harm if everyone cooperated.

Ayden sat back down as the two vanished with a flash of blue light. He was fully awake now and trying to decide what to do next. He had no idea how to get to the Forsaken Fortress, so he would have to hope Steel's vow was legit. Otherwise, he would end up scoaring the seas for awhile till he found a FF ship and stow away. The latter was far too sketchy for his liking.

It was now a waiting game.

Lena realized that Motoko had been taken back, and that Kitsune and Gabriel were not there with her. She panicked silently, wondering what had hapened, and then heard footsteps up the stairs, not knowing who was approaching, she sat there, and waited.

The door bursted open, and found it was Gabriel, along with Kitsune who was holding the now awake Motoko.

"Oh, so you're all alright," She said, sounding reassured.
"Are we heading out to Forsaken Fortress soon? I cannot stand being in this Inn very longer."

"Well, we were heading there until someone came and abducted our captain, who was also the only person who knew how to use a ship."

"Dont panick though. He promised us ( or at least me ) a ship."

He better send it. Or Ill hunt him down for eternity...

"The hell?..." Germanlink was sitting down trying to cover himself with sheets from the rain when he saw Ken and a very powerful-looking man walk into the decks. "What's he gonna go do with Ken?", Germanlink then relaized that if Kitsune or the others hadn't tried to stop this, then Germanlink would probably be better off letting them go.

Germanlink went to the upper decks,finding Kitsune Gabriel and Motoko. He also found out what had really happened. "Damn, so we have to wait now?...Well, at least we still have a ride to the Fortress."

Germanlink walked outside to the quarterdeck, then decided to keep himself busy for the rest of the night by wondering around the ship, since he could not fall back asleep. Going down to the lowest storage room, he looked at a red crate that he relaized that he and Ayden had never actually brought into the ship. He went over and opened it and looked inside. "What the..." he then found something particularly weird, being in a ship and all.

He pulled out some clothes, which seemed to be more suited as desert clothes, such as dervish male clothing, after that he looked through some hay and Germanlink had found himself a set of curved daggers with the word "Khanjar" engraved into each of their sheaths.

"Hmm...this must have been a merchant ship that had dealing with the ignaos desert once. Germanlink equiped his new set of clothes and the daggers, and decided that Motoko must have been hungry. He grabbed some fruit from one of the barrels and headed to the upper decks once more. "Are any of you hungry? I brought some food."
