[Billy Goat]

"This is no time to rest. I think we should follow Kitsune, he may be in danger if we leave him alone." With these words Germanlink ran towards the direction that the Kitsune ran to, then stopped short, turning back and seeing Gabriel standing there. "Well, are you coming or what?"

Gabriel shrugged. "{Why do I even bother....}" she whispered to herself in Nihongo. "Fine. Just give me a minute so I can grab my things." She then ran into the Temple and navigated to the room she was staying in. She quickly grabbed her burnoose and teakettle and ran back out the entrance and after Germanlink

Dammit! If only I could... Then he saw it, the sword still in its sheeth lying near the river, just as he left it.

"Yes!" Kitsune packed up the sword, and turned to run back.

By the time he reached back to the temple, he noticed something. His ears were back, along with his advanced senses and silver hair.

... Why am I not possessed? Kitsune thought...

He placed the Katana on the floor, and finally drew the other sword out.

I fear if this breaks the power may go straight into me...and that may cause some trouble

He then detected Germanlink and a faint smell of Gabriel.

"Wha-" He got cut off on mid sentence when the sword started moving on its own...

Grabbing ahold of it, he ran off to where Gabriel was with the sword, and ran in.

"Hey! Sorry to ditch like that, any of you happen to know how to break a katana?" He said...

"Not really. But I'd imagine a mystic volcano would do the trick." Gabriel wasn't so sure. She was too busy putting on her burnoose to give a proper answer

"Good, we should try destroying this sword. That way Ill be able to accompany you outside the forest, seeing as I have nowhere to go."

He laid the sword down, and pulled out his giant longsword.

"Ill try this out.."

"What the..." as Germanlink was heading towards the waterfall he saw the Kitsune pass him and go deeper to where Gabriel was. This time though, the Kitsune had silver hair, and he had his fox ears back. He must have passed through some rays of light. As he headed back to where the Kitsune and Gabriel were he saw that the Kitsune was indeed his half-demon self once more. He then heard the suggestion of heading out of the forest.

"So you're also heading out of the forest eh Kitsune?" he then thought for a while, "Well, if it's not too much of a burden, I would like to come along with you both, seems like my brother is not in this forest at the moment."

Inside himself though, Germanlink was thinking of the journey ahead of him, going to a Mystic Volcano, seeing new lands, traveling with a group of newfound friends. I wonder if Billy Goat enjoys traveling this much, maybe he never came home for the same reason I don't want to go back.

"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's get the hell out of this forest before we have to encounter more monsters." said Germanlink with a smile on his face.

[Mystic Kitsune]

"Speaking of monsters..." Kitsune said now looking a bit depressed...

"Germanlink, I want you to hold this sword for now. If I leave the forest wielding it, I will probably return to my...well...original self. I have to hold on to this long sword for now..."

He offered Germanlink the sword...

I hope he doesnt get possessed...if thats the case, Ill have to bring him down and give it to Gabriel...

Germanlink looked at the sword and had a slight memory of the last night. "Hmm...I understand." said Germanlink as he accepted the sword, he then put it on his belt and started walking.

"Alright, lets get out of here, I'm a bit tired of looking at so many trees." said Germanlink, as he started to head out. "So uhh...which way is out of here again?", he said in a humorous tone.

[Ken the Wandering Soul]

Ken finished the meal, not wasting a single crumb or drop. He thanked Ayden again and walked back to where his sword was still firmly planted into the ground. The boy looked concernedly to the great trees representing the barrier between the Lost Woods and the world outside.

Ken felt worried. It had been awhile since the little group had left the forest, but Gabriel still had not come out yet. Had something happened to postpone her arrival?

The boy's thought's drifted to an image of the half-demon. Ken knew he looked familier, but he was just starting to remember himself why. He vaguely remembered a half-demon fox who lived in the villlage, but at some point left. If this was the same one...

Ken sat down next to the spirit sword impaled in the earth, crossing his legs and leaning slightly against the flat of the blade.

"If I see him again, I'm going to ask him..." the boy promised to himself.

[Gabe Puratekuta]

[Jeez, now I'll have to PM him about it....]

"Good idea." But I hope that seal holds until then.... she thought. Suddenly, Gabriel remembered something important. D'oh! I forgot about Motoko-chan! "Follow me. I'll get us out of here."

Motoko had just finished eating and looked at Ayden. "More, please." she said with a very kawaii expression

Kitsune nodded and followed. Keeping his senses about due to his nature of not trusting people to easily.

He silently followed Gabriel to whatever destination they were going, and kept a weary eye on the sword Germanlink had with him.

Keeping her eyes closed, Gabriel swayed with every change the spirits tell her until they finally reached the edge of the Lost Woods. Opening her eyes as if they were being used for the first time, she quickly fell backwards with a happy and relieved expression on her face. "Ahhh! It's good to feel the sun on my face again!"

Gabriel landed right in Kitsune's arms. He just blinked for a second and dropped her on the ground. He noticed nothing about him changed.

Just as I thought...it was that damn sword this whole time...

He gave a quick smile since he didnt transform.

"Now then, go get Motoko and lets go. Ill wait for you to come back." Kitsune said to Gabriel.

[Gabe Puratekuta]

"That should be easy. She's one-of-a-kind, that daughter o' mine." Gabriel said as she stood back up and brushed herself off. "But I doubt you'd be interested in what my agenda is out here." She then ran her finger along the scar on her neck once more

"Actually...I would like to know the people Im travelling with better...what was your reasons for leaving the woods anyway? You never told me..." Kitsune said looking at the scar on her neck...

...deciding it would be to nosey to ask where the scar came from, he would ask later. But it gave him an uneasy feeling for some reason.

"Oh. That's quite all right." she said with a smile. "Say, have you by any chance heard of a pirate named 'Steel Samurai'?" Before Kitsune or Germanlink could give an answer, Gabriel saw the sunlight reflect off of Motoko's glasses. Very little gives Gabriel so much joy as to see her daughter smiling

Seeing the smile Gabriel made. Kitsune looked up at the sky and thought about something he hadnt thought about for a long time...

She's such a delicate flower.... Gabriel was focusing on nothing else around her. Perhaps when this is all over, we can finally return home and see her "mother" again. A slight breeze started blowing, further lamenting the tranquil scene. "(That's exactly what we'll do!)" She then noticed Kitsune's stare at what she whispered. ".....what?"

Kitsune was staring at Gabriel. But not on the way she was just standing there, Kitsune was in fact in deep thought. He was trying to recall the last time he saw his brother...it wasnt a pretty reunion...

"...what?" he heard Gabriel ask which broke his thinking.

"Nothing. Anyhow stop standing there and get your daughter already!" He said while pushing Gabriel with his sheath.

[Gabe Puratekuta]

"Itai! Fine, you don't have to be so grumpy about it." She started toward where Motoko, along with Ayden and Ken, had sat down. I promise. We'll go home soon....
Suddenly, Motoko stood up, about to cry, and ran toward her father. "Otou-sama!!" she shouted as they gave each other a hug

"Keh...sono you na koto ga iwareru to iya datta" Kitsune mumbled to himself.

He saw that same boy he had seen when he was possessed the day before.

Ken...was it? Kitsune thought...

He turned to Gabriel, who was busy catching up with Motoko.

*sigh* Isogu hitsuyou wa arimasen... He mumbled yet again while he just sat down cross legged.

(Translation: "I dont need you to tell me that..."

Kitsune turned his attention to Ken. Feeling to lazy to be indirect, he just asked straight forwardly to Ken, "Have we met before?"

Ken looked over Kitsune as he sat down. He wanted to ask the question, but he felt nervous. The words wanted to come out, but they just clumped up in his throat.

"Have we met before?"

The boy was surprised by the direct question, but it also gave a small sense of relief to him. He scrached the back of his neck hisand lowered his gaze to the ground a little bit.

"A-actually, I was going to ask... Have you been to a village called Taiyo?" the boy sputtered.

"Taiyo? Why..." Kitsune was stopped in mid-sentence...he was having sudden flashbacks of his home in Taiyo, those memories which were forgotten in sacrifice to become a full demon...

..."Im...from Taiyo...Ive been there and back many times..."

"Why do you ask? And you still didnt answer my question."

[Gabe Puratekuta]

Motoko suddenly released herself from her 'father' and walked toward Kitsune. "Umm, Kitsune-kun? Your aura seems different somehow... Has something happened in the forest?" She let on more than she wanted when she asked that

He turned to Motoko and gave a light smile.

"Lets just say, I got somewhat enlightened Motoko-chan."

Keh! This kid can sense my aura? ...she may be useful if she can detect the aura of the sword if it starts acting up again...

[Ken the Wandering Soul]

"Sorry. Well, I think I saw you a few times. I..."

Ken halted his sentence as he a memory showed itself further to Ken. He started looking up.

"I think... I think I met you in person when I was delivering a sword for my father to you."

By the time he finished the sentence, Ken was looking Kitsune directly in the eye. He was just 9 years-old when that happened, but he recognized the half-demon completely.

"It was you..." the boy mumbled under his breath.

"Keh! Youre that boy? Youve grown. That sword that was delivered broke awhile ago. Shattered on a-" He was cut off once again, this time because he remembered the innocent man he had shattered the sword on...

"...man...it was on a man." Kitsune silently said finishing his sentence.

"Whats that look for? Im not going to eat you or anything." Kitsune said to Ken who was now looking up at him...

"Y-Y-You've.......taken a life........?" Tears started to well up in Motoko's eyes and she quickly turned around to hide her sadness from Kitsune. "Why.......? Why would you do such a thing..........?"
