"Wha-wha-...No! I mean...that wasnt...did I make her cry?!" Kitsune looked closley to see if she was bluffing or not...

"Dont cry about it! Its just the way of the sword! Besides, he deserved it, he treated me badly when I was younger..." Noticing he had said to much, he just stopped talking and turned around.

"Keh! Just dont cry!...okay?"

Ken watched what happened and lowered his head again a bit.

"It is what a sword is for..." he mumbled.

He looked up again a little bit.

"I'm not afraid, it's just... Your the first person I've seen from Taiyo in at least three years."

While trying to calm Motoko down, he turned his head to respond to Ken's comment.

"Three years? Were you in the woods all this time?" Before he could go on, he had to get back to Motoko...

Even though she wasn't crying, it was hard for her to hold back for tears. Then she heard Kitsune's voice.

"Keh! Just don't cry! ...okay?"

That, somehow, helped her. Motoko quickly wiped the tears with her arm and quickly turned around, a smile on her face. "I guess it's what's expected from a half-demon like you." She then realized she might've hit a soft spot and decided to try something nonverbal. She then gave the kitsune hanyou a light kiss on the cheek

Ken stared a little bit at the kiss, then blinked sa few times, bringing himself back.

"Yesterday was first time I had been to the Lost Woods in awhile." the boy spoke.

Ken thought about what he had been doing for the past three years...

"I almost never go anywhere for a reason... I've spent most of my time just wandering around, waiting for something to happen." he continued.

"Did you just say a hal-" He was interrupted by a soft kiss on the cheek.

"Wha?"

He had a faint sign of blushing on his face. He turned around to avoid people seeing him blush.

"Keh! Im not blushing or anything!" said Kitsune. He was never good at lying but he couldnt think right now.

Arigatou...Motoko-chan.

He said to Ken, without facing him:

"Wandering around wont get you anywhere, Ken, if you dont have an objective."

Motoko only giggled.
Gabriel, on the other hand, wasn't paying attention to those three. She was looking at the sky with a worried expression on her face. What.......is that I sense...? Suddenly, she fell to one knee as a large concentration of darkness rippled through her.
Motoko was affected, too, but her resiliance wasn't quite as strong as her father's and she passed out.
Nooo.......!! "Mo.....to.......ko..........!!"

"What the hell?" Kitsune said looking at Gabriel.

Crap. This better not be the work of my damn sword...Kitsune asked Motoko, seeing as she wasnt down,

"Where is the energy coming from?!"

[Ken the Wandering Soul]

Ken was about to speak when he himself felt something coming. He stood and looked around, reached both hands to his sword's handle. As the darkness passed through him, the boy's legs buckled. He hung onto the sword as he felt weak, gripping it like a lifeline. He vision faded in and out a few times before it stabilized.

"What... what was that?"

[Gabe Puratekuta]

"I.......I..don't know.... But it's very powe--It can't be!!!" Gabriel tried to stand, but the evil energy had hit her center of gravity and she kept falling to the ground. "If it's what I think it is, then we are seriously boned!!"

[Mystic Kitsune]

"What do you mean?!" Kitsune was about to say more, but it seemed his sword was responding to the energy.

This isnt good...that sword...if it were to come back in my possession...

He was going to help Gabriel up, but he noticed that his sword of illusion was glowing...

Damn this energy...if only I knew where...

"Jigoku no Sounda.....!! After seven hundred years, it has returned!!!" Gabriel had got back to her feet again and stumbled to Motoko's side

"Dammit! Where is it though?! You people keep going on about the energy, but no source!" He said.

He wasnt afraid, more puzzled. He was in the mood of beating on someone, especially if that someone was bringing his sword back to life.

"Gabriel, just what is this 'Jigoku no Sounda'?..."

[Gabe Puratekuta]

She looked at Kitsune. "It is a very powerful and dangerous blade. The Jigoku no Sounda, or Sounda of Hell, can open the gates to the Netherworld and send everyone on earth to oblivion! There is only one way to defeat such a sword: The Tetsusaiga of Earth and the Tensusaiga of Heaven must be used at once!" She then looked back a her daughter. "If it finds a human to wield it, then there's no way to stop it without those two blades!"

"Keh! Where have I heard this story before?" Said Kitsune in a humorous tone...

"Great great...so um...how 'bout we make a run for it...like that way?" Said Kitsune pointing in the western direction.

Theres no way those blades will be found...theyre not even on this continent...

Germanlink had been very quiet these past few moments, seeing as he had not much to say. He was actually very amused at how everyone in the group was getting along so well.

All of the sudden a great tension built up when Motoko had passed out and Gabriel kept falling to the ground and would keep on stumbling.

Germanlink didn't really feel any "evil energy" or anything of the sort, in fact, he couldn't sense energy at all. "What the hell is going on?" the blade he was holding sure was reacting to the energy though, it was shining and he could actually feel a pulse out of it. Kitsune's other blade, was also reacting in a way.

He then heard Gabriel say something about some swords and how one particular blade, the so-called Sounda of Hell was causing all of this. Germanlink clicked when he heard a remark about a blade of earth.

"Great great...so um...how 'bout we make a run for it...like that way?"

Said the Kitsune, Germanlink looked in the direction he was pointing to, which was west. He happened to remember something.

"Hey Gabriel, are any of the blades you're talking about...umm...do they ave any connection to the Great God Diel's blade the DumGorin? I actually heard some story regarding some powerful blade...which was supposedly of some earth god or something of the sort." Germanlink paused for a second, making sure that the group was following him along on what he spoke. Of course, Germanlink barely knew what he was talking about, he had only heard a reference to the story when he was a child.


"Well...then again I also heard it actually shattered or something and the shards are in the lands of Vanadiel and Uradiel. I'm just thinking that the shards or the god may have to do with what you're talking about, not completely sure though."

Kitsune stared at Germanlink for a second, then lost intrest in mid-sentence.

"This all could be an illusion created by my sword. It does, after all, reflect one's greatest fears and project them to make it seem real." Kitsune said to the group.

It was for this reason Kitsune had no fear.

Ayden nearly dropped the cooking supplies when he heard Motoko's reaction to the half-demon taking a life. He shook his head, Aiden's actions were not his own then, he thought. And even though they aren't my doing, I'm still trying to make up for them.

He shook off the unease and continued cleaning the supplies as best he could.

Minutes later, he stood, everything packed away, and the campfire out. Ayden simply stood listening to the reunion. He was slightly antsy to leave just to get his retribution started, but he had no clear purpose or goal.

[Gabe Puratekuta]

"Earth God? I doubt it. The Tetsusaiga is the fang of a great demon and used to protect Man." She then tried to stand once again, this time using her hammer as a crutch. "Besides, we don't need to find the Tensusaiga. That fang is Motoko."

[Mystic Kitsune]

"Really...Motoko has the power of healing then?" He said looking at her while smiling.

Im beggining to like this girl more and more...

He turned back to Gabriel.

"Great. So you have your 'Tenseiga' or whatever right here." He said pointing at Motoko.

"Now where would the Tetsuiga be, eh? None of us could have the same power...if it would be anyone, that would be me...a..." Taking a deep breath, Kitsune let out a few last words.

"...half demon..." He said in a really silent and depressed tone...

[Hey, um, Kitsune? When my part in this thread is over, will your character help mine with Gabriel's agenda?]


"Well, actually, pretty much anyone can use the Tetsusaiga as long as two conditoins are met. Number one: The fang would have to choose him or her as it's new master; Two: The user would want to protect humans from the Evil demons." Gabriel then removed Motoko's glasses from her face and handed them to Kitsune. "Here, hold onto these for the time being. She can't use them right now anyway." She then smiled. "Besides, you'll be connected to her as well."

Kitsune took the glassess in his hand...

"Keh! What are you implying?" Kitsune said with a confused look.

"Well...we've been distracted for to long, lets go as far from these forsaken woods as possible." Kitsune said gesturing the way opposite the woods...

[Gabe Puratekuta]

"Right!" Gabriel, a big "I know a secret" smile on her face, moved forward. "Perhaps along the way, I can tell you of how Motoko came to be." She then stopped and looked at the others. "Well, aren't you coming? And someone carry Motoko. I really don't want to leave her here, especially now."

[Mystic Kitsune]

"Motoko cant walk?" He lifted her up and carried her on his back.

Seeing the weird looks some people were giving him, he just said: "Keh! No problem!...stop looking at me like that!"

He then turned to Gabriel, "I know Germanlink is coming. Im not sure of Ken. The others are going their own seperate ways. But Im coming with you wherever youre going. So lets go!" Kitsune said in a really excited tone.

[Gabe Puratekuta]

[Hey, how about this? We go to where SS is and say that we're looking for the Tetsusaiga and that my finding him is a side-quest]

"Of course she can't walk. She's out cold at the moment." Gabriel waited until the others were close enough and continued moving away from the forest.

"Out cold?" Kitsune felt a bit awkward for not noticing...

"So. Where are we going?" Kitsune said while they were finally departing the woods.

He turned to look back at the woods one last time...

These woods...Ill miss them...it was after all, my second home...

"You'll miss that maze of a forest, huh, Kitsune." Gabriel sounded as though she could read minds. "Aye, so will I. Although sometimes the spirits would get a little 'grabby' late at night, (if you know what I mean)." she said and winked

"Huh?" Kitsune just said as he heard Gabriel state an answer to what he was thinking.

"Keh! Grabby...well in my case, itd be the ears!" He said while he turned his eyes upward to look and point at the fox ears at the top of his head.

"But yes, I get it. Damn forest spirits!" Kitsune said trying to get his mind off his home.

The forest was in a distance now. He would always stop half a kilometer or so to turn around and stare for awhile, and keep going...

Ken looked off to the others as they began to go off into the distance.

"Well, what now?" he thought aloud to himself.

Ken had since regained his stability, and had tugged his sword from the ground. He brushed some dirt off the blade, and put it back into its sheath. He turned to Ayden.

"Well, what do you think? Shall we follow them?" the boy asked.

[Gabe Puratekuta]

"Yeah, they grabbed mine too. Sometimes it's tough being half catgirl...." Especially when your ears are the second most sensative parts of your body.... She sighed. "So, how about I tell the story of Motoko's appearance in this world?"
