Yeah, I can't see it ending like this. But I suppose I just wish there was a more definitive direction. I mean, I keep up with Naruto too, and there ALWAYS seems to be something else. You know there's more left.

But with this it's like Aizen is sealed. Pending him breaking the kidou somehow, it's a toss up as to what direction the series takes. Yammy is still alive I think... barely >_>

But who else is left?

And I highly doubt the Captains before are dead. They got sliced up good, but how many times has that happened to Ichigo, Zaraki, Toushiro, and Renji?The one I'm really curious about is Hiyori. :-( I want Hiyori to come back, but she was cut clean in half.

I would hardly classify this as spoiler as it doesn't tell you anything. They haven't explain anything about it. It's like saying "Ichigo took a breath in the last issue."

If it's a MacGuffin Badge, then it should probably have been in spoilers as it's not just a badge but a major plot-point badge. The plot-driving badge no less. So it'd equate more to saying something like "Gollum had his ring stolen" and a whole bunch of story elements are tied together. Spoiler material.

The fact that they give you a title for the next arc and then do NOTHING to address it in the very next issue is idiotic to say the least. As far as plot-driving.... I'd say they pointed the plot in a direction and then stuck a boulder on the accelerator. There is no driving going on yet....

This series has needed change for so long. Kubo has taken far too much time to do the last arc, especially the final battle that was paced to terribly between chapters. I know I have made a statement about that before but I feel it needed repeating. Anyway, this should be amusing to see what he has planned for this arc.

I figure the badge can't be meaningless. But I'm also hoping Ichigo's sarcastic younger sister plays into this as well. I feel like Bleach would be an interesting generational type show.

I also feel like if we had more Urban Fantasy and less Soul Society it would be better.

OK, so let's revive this thread.

It's been confirmed that the latest arc in Bleach is going to be the last one, which is probably a good thing considering the nature of the last large arc going on forever. The X-cution arc was a nice break, although shorter than I figured it would be for the kind of plot points they were dropping. Maybe that was for the best. But it seems they've taken a step back with the story, bringing it back to the beginning (in a matter of speaking) with it just being Hollow Hunting in the human world. I haven't read the series for about a month and a half now, hoping to let it build up while I wait out some rather unpleasant cliffhangers. But yeah, I see this manga going till volume 50+.

Now that it's almost over I should watch more of it. I stalled out in the middle of the Arrancar arc, so by the time I catch up they should be almost done. lol
