Zelda still has the ToW on her hand in the WW ending even though the King is touching the whole Triforce.Um....no they didn't? Because they made all that fuss about the Triforce being used and the pieces flying off and such.

Eh? We have never been told how much time Ganon spends in the Sacred Realm. Also, we are never told if Zelda returned to the castle or not. So you can't tell I'm contradicting canon. And your theory isn't possible in a single timeline because Ganon can't be sealed in the past and be free in that past's future!Zelda tells Link to return the MS and close the Door of Time, that is clearly open in the ending. Therefore, Zelda has already flied away. But since Zelda is in the castle, we can assume Ganon has been sealed. It's the only possibility.

Fyxe. It's a simple battle tactic: If your enemy knows where you are, don't be there. The castle may be relatively safe at the time, but Zelda and Impa wouldn't have returned if they knew Ganondorf went after the Triforce. Because once he came back, no amount of soldiers could protect them. You're right though about outside castle not being any safer. Which is why the only way Zelda could protect herself is not just be somwhere else, but BE someone else. Which is exactly what she does in OoT's dark future.

I don't know about uyou but a Triforce crest that takes some time to fade away or a replay of the same scene at a different angle seems more logical than Zelda returning to castle for God knows why.
Also, exactly what in-game text does it contradict?

I see you all are confused with the timeline, correct? Well, I think I can explain some of these things. Anyways, HeroOfTime5 and I have been doing a lot of timeline debating over at Zelda Universe, and we (okay, and five other people) actually got a new sub-forum to be created for timeline discussion. Okay, here's what I think happens at the end of OoT.
Zelda sends Link back in time, we know that. She says that he must lay the Master Sword to rest and close the Door of Time. So, if she doesn't want history to repeat itself, what does she do? She sends Link back to after he drew the Master Sword (because it's impossible for him to be sent back to before he did it) but after Ganondorf entered the Sacred Realm. When Link closes the Door of Time, he seals Ganon away inside the Sacred Realm. This fits nicely with some text on the Seal War in ALttP which talks of Ganon not being able to find his way out of the Golden Land. This is known as the "metaphorical hole" on ZU, because in a way he has fallen into a hole and he can't get out. When Ganon gets the Triforce, it will split, which won't contradict the events before TWW.
