I really do think the Shiekah could change into wolves. Doesn't surprise me in the least bit, actually. It's a bit different, yes, but not completely farfetched.

Not to be racist, but the person in cloak appears to have a white face correct? I know Ganondorf can change his appearance if he felt like it, but I would use that to rule out Ganondorf.
Also, by the height of the person I'd say its male and not a woman.
I want this game! And would EVERYONE please stop saying how much they don't like it

Hmmm... below are 4 different ways that Ganon can be in the game AND Link can be the same as OoT Link. Then how is Ganon in it?
1) Ganon is only in the SR/DW like in aLttP and Link from OoT has to go there to set him straight for some reason.
2) This shows how Ganon escaped in WW Bs and shows a hero that failed.
3) Link from OoT was sealed for many years, and this game shows 'the hero rise again'.
4) This follows from the Child Link ending, and shows the IW in detail.
Analising these:
1) Very possible as it was done in aLttP.
2) Unlikely as Link would have to lose in the end - OR Link helps convince the gods to cause a flood in the end.
3) We've seen Link stuck in time before so it may explain why the hero of time didn't save Hyrule before the flood. This would ALSO allow the game to be chronlogically after WW. BUT it wouldn't explain why Zelda looks like OoT Zelda. Maybe she was trapped as well? Who knows...
4) Plausable given WW was after Adult Links ending, and the trailer seems to show a 'swarm of evil' presumably from the SR. However, I don't know if Nintendo want to go over the aLttP BS anymore, but it may be a great way to resolve any inconsistancies that WW seemingly caused.
I'm sure there are other ways, but these are the more obvious ones. Feel free to add any more.

That explains why it's Ocarina of Time Link battling in so many of the different Zelda worlds we recognize and it will neatly explain away all the nasty timeline problems. By the way, the new Zelda herself is secretly Aerith.

That's the obvious conclusion, Zythe, but I hesitate to accept it could actually be. How could they possibly hope to hide her right our noses again? Fool me 3 times, and I'm a complete moron. Even if she's the wolf, no one who played Ocarina of Time and Wind Waker will actually fall for it again. The only way I can imagine they could conceivably manage to pull off a successful slight-of-princess yet again is to distract us with something that seems like it's obviously her, while slipping her in through a far less apparent twist. It wouldn't surprise if we're meant to believe the cloaked figure is her, while the real princess is the horse.I think it's Zelda in some sort of Sheikesque disguise. They're repeating elements from OoT to please fairweather fans.

Yeah! That's exactly what I was thinking! I also think the face looks feminine, but it isn't necessarilly a girl because of the anime style as coinilius said. But even in anime style, Ganon's face would never be that feminine or do I think his skin would change color. And it probably isn't Agahnim because his skin is blue and he had a pretty big nose as well. My guess is that it is either a sheikah or Vaati.the art is definitely going more and more OoT-ness.. but that cloaked figure? reminds me of zelda in the windwaker commercials (you know those really annoying ones? actually i guess it could have been tetra they were representing)

I dunno if I posted this earlier (I know I did at ZU)
Maybe the cloaked figure is...Link.
You heard me.
Kind of a 'duality' thing going on here, maybe? Heck, while I'm at it, I'll chuck another one - how about Dark Link?
Hmm?

I really think it's a Sheikah person. Maybe not Shiek, but definitely a Sheikah. The Eye says it all, really. Man, I'm excited about this new game though. It's all the little things that's making it more and more Zelda-esque.

Now there's a cool concept. You're lucky this is pure speculation Tekky, else everyone would be on your ass about that's too much fanfiction, lol. But I do like that idea.

It would make sense in light of the transfiguration theories that have been flying around.
The sheikah are clearly influenced by the ninja, having their own remote village nestled on the side ofa mountain prior to OoT, the dissapearing acts, the stealth capabilities, the mystery and awe that surrounds them, their service to the royal family.
One other rumored ability of the ninja was the ability to turn themselves into animals, which would give the transfiguration rumors some basis while staying true to the established canon.

99 times out of 100 in anime a guy who is really evil acts/looks feminine... and has white hair (it's just a rule of thumb...)
It's about time! I thought I was the only one that noticed something wrong with that apsect of manga.

As for who the Sheikah is, I think this time it will be a male instead of the generally used female Sheikahs in the story.
