By the way, has anyone collected cards from the Yugioh movie? It strikes me that most of them are level 10 cards, especially the Andro Sphinx.

I've got the movie promos

they're stupid and no real duelist uses them except maybe for a specialty deck or a sphynx deck (which doesn't even work very well)

Most duelists never use a deck that has 60 or more cards because it would take forever to get to the cards you want to play. Also, a deck of 60 cards or more is WAY too big. Most duelists would use a deck in which the size ranges from 40-50 cards. That's why there's a deck size limit.

I like to just make a exception for Return from a Different Dimension...For Chaos deck players that card is great for a one turn blitz since Chaos decks revolve around monster removal.


And theres no actual limit

Theoretically you could have 100 cards in your deck....but its pure common sense....

If you have 60 cards, you only have 1-3 in 60 chance of drawing the card, 40 cards you have a 1-3 in 40 chance....increased chance. Throw in cards with similar effects you can bump it up to another 1-6 in 40 hence why most people play with themes. Since themed cards have more related effects they more all-round useful.

Ugh... I got an error message after I finished creating my deck. It says Windows won't allow me to play online-- something like that. I wonder what's wrong with the YVD? I'll have to download again.

I think I got it working now. Instead of creating a deck of my own (which I'll do later), I used one of the decks available in the program. What it says next is "connect to an opponent" and that requires IP. It looks like a private duel option.


I thought the main rule of the game is that you can gave up to a minimum of 40 cards and maximum of 60 cards in your deck. I think that rule is always followed when entering Yugioh tournaments/competitions.

EDIT: Are attachments currently uploadable? I got an error while trying to attach a bmp file. I tried the same with jpg and still it didn't work.

You can't upload .bmp files on LA... And make sure the file isn't too big.

I'd also mention that Return from a Different Dimension is good

and Peten is good in a stall deck

mainly I was referring to the big honkin' sphynxes

Anyone has Inferno Tempest? It leaves your deck full of magic and trap cards alone and also monsters can't be revived as they are removed from the graveyard.

I have several and its absolutely near worthless.....

The activation trigger is horrible....I can only be activated by battle damage of 3000 or more in one attack....

Only monsters I can think that would that level of damage even in a direct attack are Blue Eyes White Dragon, Envoy of the End and Envoy of the Beginning, Blue Eyes Ultimate, Five God Dragon and maybe some fusions and monsters pumped up on drugs. Also even if you did you did something like magical box your own 3000 atker onto their side I'd think they'd get at least a little suspicious at what your upto.

Chances are it only activates if you build an entire deck which forces them to or your very godamn lucky and do it within your first 500 games.

Well, anyone wants to discuss about the current Yugioh episodes being telecasted? As I mentioned before, I stopped watching just after the end of Marik's defeat, so I didn't get time to see the next new episodes. The last episode I saw was of Yugi riding off to a valley after Rebecca's grandpa was kidnapped.

Besides its not like they haven't used guns....

Kaiba jumped out a window when he was threatened with guns repainted to be large fingers and many other people who tried using guns got killed with dark magic or forced to shoot themselves so MEH. n_n

You guys in the U.S shouldn't complain about the censoring...at least the series isn't as behind as in S.A!! I didn't even know that there was another series after Marik's defeat! Plus, I have yet to watch the movie since it's based after the series which was still showing when the movie was out...the DVD is coming out on April 1st and I can't wait to watch the movie...

I havent actually bought any new cards for almost a year now, but i am getting back into it because I had to teach my frined how to play. I noticed that in his deck he has a couple of magic cards that are the same as mine. Except that now all of the recent magic cards are called "Spell Cards" instead of "Magic Cards" I just noticed this and thought that is was kind of odd. So I was just wondering when this change happend?

They probably changed Magic Cards to Spell Cards because of the actual game"Magic: the Gathering". And since they are "Magic Cards", there was probably a copyright problem.
