Amazon has put Mega Man and Sheik on delay for me, which I think is their way of saying they'll probably be canceled. I am not amused.

 

But Bowser and Toon Link are on their way at least. So that's some consolation.

God no. The store I bought the Wii Fit Trainer from just mailed me "Hi we don't actually have it, your order is delayed". It was showing 10+ stock when I made the transaction, so I mailed them (angrily) that I want my money back. 

 

On top of that, just got the happy news that my Majora's Mask limited edition won't be available because Nintendo won't supply enough to fill pre-orders.

It's a miserable kind of enjoyment, but the rewards are sweet. When I got my Pit in the mail, everything felt like it was coming up Milhouse. But when you can't get the ones you want it's like the lowest low. Shulk is currently my biggest heartbreak because I didn't think to pre-order him at the time so my options are import or get price gauged on eBay.

Yes, Play-Asia is good. It's where I've been getting most of my shipped Amiibos from (with the exception of Villager, who was from eBay). If EB Games doesn't get its shipment of Mega Mans and Ikes soon (I had Mega Man pre-ordered from them), I'll be getting them from Play-Asia.

 

As for what amiibos I currently have, they are: Villager, Marth, Wii Fit Trainer, Bowser and Rosalina & Luma. Hoping to get Mega Man and Ike soon, and then Pac-Man and the other Fire Emblem characters later on.

 

Yeah, I'm pretty much collecting all the Fire Emblem amiibos for the sake of Codename: S.T.E.A.M. The rest are gimmicky/powerhouse characters for SSB4 that I want to train up.

You've got me beat. In the order acquired: Link, Zelda, Marth, Captain Falcon, Toon Link, Bowser, Mario.

Looking to add Ike, and maybe Luigi and Sheik. I definitely want Ness and Robin, on the horizon. Whenever they add Ganondorf, he'll be a definite too.

Greninja will be a mandatory addition of and when he is released. Managed to also get Shulk via Web to Store at GameStop. They'll be releasing another shipment of him for the new xenoblade game coming out for 3DS

I couldn't say for certain but I wouldn't be surprised. After all, Smash Bros revived interest in the series and Nintendo is not one to totally turn a blind eye to budding promising franchises.

I got my Pit on eBay, I understand your pain.

Well since it's an import, it's not really the same as scalping. You're buying it from someone in Japan because the amiibo you want is more widely available there, and it's not like you could go to Japan yourself just to buy an amiibo. $35 doesn't seem disgustingly greedy to me for an import, unless the shipping was completely unreasonable.

So far I've got Link, Zelda, Sheik, Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, Wii Fit Trainer (finally), Ike, Pikachu, Kirby, Mega Man, Star Fox, Sonic, Captain Falcon and Samus. 

I'm holding out on some the Mario stuff until that line is released, so I can pick the bestest looking ones. Too bad I haven't gotten hold of Pit, Little Mac and Marth yet. Other ones I really want in the future are Ness, Game & Watch, ROB, Duck Hunt and Pac Man.

Currently have a nice little war chest of tradable Amiibos to ensure the ones I want to get. Zelda, Toon Link, Shiek with Rosalina and Meta Knight. Debating on whether or not I'm going to hang onto some of them or if I'm gonna trade them off down the road. Wave 4 can't get here fast enough, it's going to be exciting.

Shulk just came in the mail yesterday.  I've ordered Rosalina & Luma as well.  And when the new wave comes, I'll be getting Charizard.  After that, I think I'll be good.

I'm curious, how do y'all have your amiibos laid out? I got mine at my desk for easy view and ease of access for touching to my gamepad for training and such. Here's a pic:

While I'm still looking into some,I'm think I'm officially out. I was about to drop $30.00 or so a pop on a good bunch of them and stopped myself. If I'm going to spend that much I might as well spend a little more on a figure, so I opted out and grabbed some of the poseable Japanese figure releases instead. Yeah, it means I won't get all the characters I wanted, but surprisingly there's a few obscure characters out there - already put a pre order on Lucina.

Take that Nintendo, instead of giving you my money I'll......give even more of it indirectly via another company you licensed it out to.

Oh! That figure! Love figma figures, they're so much fun.

 

As for Toon Link and Shiek, they were hard to come by when they first came out in February but have been lowered down from "Rare" to "Uncommon" Status. They're not super easy to get but they aren't difficult to find either. I've been told that Mega Man and Sonic have been lowered to the same level or rarity these days too.
