@Selena, I myself find Halestorm rather refreshing these days. Well done.

Not intentionally, it kidna just worked out that way so far. GH and RB putting in the songs I always really liked is probably why I attatched myself to the squeaky plastic instrument genre so readily.

To be fair Vet, Sparks are American and Thin Lizzy is from Ireland.

Yes, your first selection... was by an American artist.

Husky! Kansas is fucking awesome. Most people I know haven't listened to them past "Carry On Wayward Son", and that's greatly depressing to me.

I knew about Thin Lizzy but didn't check Sparks. I blame Lena.

As I need endless music to give me a semblance of drive and motiviation to do work with a deadline approaching I reckon I'll give everyone's list a blast - make a change from the same old songs I've been listening to.

Is there a reason this forum is private? It'd be sort of nice to be able to link my playlist-in-progress to friends not from LA.

I've PMed the other admins cos I can't work out why it's hidden.

Don't think it was said here, but it's been fixed, so feel free to share away.

I may make my own thread sometime soon, but I'd need to have something worth posting. *shrug*

DJ - I always wondered how demented/twisted the music video for "Enter Sandman" by Metallica was but I always kept forgetting to look it up. It definately is twisted. Thanks for the post and helping me stay lazy.

DJ, I noticed you posted some In This Moment. This probably makes me a noob or a poser or something, but check out "Blood." It's a recent song by them (my first exposure to the band) and one of my local rock stations started playing it. It's pretty badass.

Props on the King Missile, Steve. Best song to sing quietly to oneself in a crowded men's room.

Your whole playlist is made of glorious 90s win.

It is a pretty good song, it's what makes me curious to track down the last couple albums that flew over my radar. I've done a really bad job of listening to music for the last few years, even with the whole excuse about life getting in the way.

Oi Vet. I noticed you have David Bowie on your list...but you don't have his best song/performance...

EDIT: Is there a rule on the subject matter of a song? I heard a hilarious song on The Bob and Tom Show this morning that I had to add to my collection but the song is rather adult themed...

Well that's good to know but the song that prompted me to ask was just taken down from YouTube...so it'll have to wait.
