best to fight one of us at least once, to understand what we're talking about. Synile did. And he's better prepared at building his team.

I don't think I'm ready yet, but I'm closer.

Why are all the trades on GTS completely unrealistic? I go on looking for a Murkrow to finish off today's newspaper article, and they're asking for a level 100 Giratina and so on. I did find someone who swapped Machoke for Machoke, at least, which seems fair.

The trick is to never search for the pokemon you want, instead upload something and wait. Especially a Munchlax, if you can offer a Munchlax people will trade you anything.

What I'd really like is a way of seeing what people are offering for what you've got. I've got loads of Chimchars and Feebas and stuff, and I'd like to search for anyone looking for them...

Yeah, it's very restrictive. It's also a pain that you can't see more of the pokemon that's up on offer, such as trainer ID and stats so you can work out if it's fake or not.

If you put up a Feebas, I guarentee someone will send you a Murkrow. Hell, even a Misdreavus will work.

If you put on a murkrow or misdreavus, you can practically get anything else back. They seem to punch way above their weight.

I used to just go catch Murkrows en masse before going on and offering whatever i wanted for them. I scored a just hatched Mew (dont know how they managed that... ditto?) a female Combee, a few munchlaxes and various other treasures just in exchange for Murkrow.

I never quite got how the whole tradin system worked in retrospect.

You got a Mew? Seriously? You think I could get a Palkia or something if I offer up a Murkrow or Gible or am I thinking too big?

It's a fake. :( You can't hatch a Mew.

And JR, I've only battled DN and Showsni so far.

I traded some Chimchars for a Piplup and a Turtwig. I really want a Charmander, but even though I've fought with one on my side in the Battle Factory it's not in my Pokédex.

I'm thinking maybe I could have another shot at getting an LA badge. I've done some EV training and everything!

Anyone got a spare Life Orb?

Fancy that. I might have to jump on that band wagon and get my ass kicked.

Now THAT was a fight

WTF moments:
2 misses on Hypnosis w/ a Wide-lensed Ninetales.
A fast frickin' Infernape
Frozen? Seriously??
Thawed the next turn? SERIOUSLY?? O_O;;

And I KNOW, you were hating that Paralysis at the end XD

That was a true fight to the finish, man. You were so close.

Try again soon, dude :)

EDIT: Honestly, you were more prepared for this fight than any of the others I've fought. You set up very well, and kept it going until the end. The biggest deciding factor in the end was luck. You got my down to my final pokemon and he was nearly in the red. That's not something to take lightly man. I just wanna stress that.

Well you know for certain now since, like D~N, I've PMed you my team after two battles.

Your team was fine, but I have to query the choice of Luxray and Staraptor. There are more effective electric types, and the less ice-weaknesses the better.

Yeah, they're ones from my "playing through the game" team that I haven't replaced yet. EVs all over the place, pretty random movepool and so on... Though Luxray gets props for taking down Charizard and being immune to hypnosis. Gyarados isn't properly trained either; but her final showdown with Weezing was pretty epic...

i've been on the recieving end of some ridiculously beneficial trades. i got my Dialga for, like, a rattata or something equally ridiculous. just don't mind his name being japanese, cause odds are that's what you'll get

I looked at my Pokemon, none of them are EV trained. At all. Hell, I barely have a grasp on EV training. My guys would get MURDERED, over and over again.

So, I'll just have to design better Gym Badges.

:3:

When I said I would do this, I sounded kinda like a pretentious punk who didn't know his head from his ass.
Despite my exclamation to make badges, here they are. If you wish to use them, I would be honored. If not, well at least it gave me something to do during class. :3:
The glossy finish looks a little weird, I'll admit. How do you guys feel about it?

By the way, what's Vet's badge called again?

I know it's a bit picky to ask, but I''m a fan of the Volcano badge from the Kanto region. Is there a way to model it after that? Not saying I wouldn't use that. But if you're maybe bored again during class...? :P

Hey, your the gym leader. ;) I'm used to drafting multiple ideas.

I'll sketch something up later, I've got some ideas to run with.

Ooooh I really like mine, but could you make it the same style as your updated inferno badge (assuming that's what GG is going with)? There's more of a definitive outline on the new one.

Oh, I called mine the frost badge.

The cold snap has ended! I have been thawed!

Showsni is the first member of the Legends Alliance Pokemon League to win the Frost Badge!

A well deserved victory!

You called nearly every move I made. Blocking my Rapid Spin was sublime! I didn't see it coming. There are great things in your future!

As well as the Frost Badge you can now use SMUG outside of battle.

Oh! I almost forgot your shiny Lapras! *sends another PM*
