There is no "best film ever made". There are a lot of good films, and great films, which introduced new concepts in camera movements, or story-telling, or design, or aesthetics, or artistry, or etc., etc., etc...but claiming that any one film is the "best" is foolhardy. True, Casablanca is a great film, but it is not the best.

That being said, Twilight still blows and goats and in no way advances or uplifts the field of film in any way.

I think my objections to the Twilight series are summed up in that cheeseburger video.

Basically the cheeseburger works perfectly as a replacement for Bella, and that shows how passive and one-dimensional she is in the story. And given that's she's one of the main characters, that's pretty poor.

I'm not saying every character has to be 'strong' or something like that, but if their role can be alternately filled with an inanimate object, there's something wrong.
