I just watched this movie with rifftrax. I don't think I'd be able to sit through the whole thing otherwise.

My boyfriend found a DVDRip, so we decided to watch it since we weren't spending money. We were planning to rip on it.

It was....so....so boring, we couldn't even find much of anything to snark about.

This thread just made my day. I get such a sick pleasure from ripping on Twilight. XD

A conversation I had with my ex on Twilight (she's never read or seen it, but it's still pretty accurate :P):
(I'm putting it in spoiler tags 'cause it's really gross, lmao. You've been warned XD)

Spoiler : click to show/hide
her: here's the best simulation of watching/reading twilight
her: you sit in a chair in an empty white room, someone walks in, stands in front of you with their back to you, undoes their pants and pulls their underwear down, steps back and climbs up on your chair with their ass in your face, spreads their ass cheeks, farts in your face then proceeds to take a chipotle-taco bell hot smelly shit on your face complete with loud grunting and straining noises.
her: that has to be the worst thing i've ever written lol
me: and yet i'm sure you're immensely pleased with yourself right now lol
her: yes.
her: you've got to admit that's a pretty accurate simulation
me: well no
me: a more accurate simulation would be if the poop was sparkly

Bahahahahaha.

I kind of feel bad for ripping on Twilight sometimes, it's like kicking something small and helpless...but then I remember the number of teenaged girls (and otherwise perfectly decent adults!) who are obsessed with it, and consider it good literature. /facepalm

That's perhaps one of the most traumatizing things I've seen in a long while. o__o Makes me want to cleanse my brain and soul by reading about serial killers or something. XD

I would rip on Twilight, but then I couldn't justify my interest in True Blood. There are many differences in the two, but they are similar enough to make me feel guilty for wanting the time I spent watching Twilight back.

I am a minor fan of the Twilight books, and I find that rabid anti-Twilight-ness is just as fucking irritating, if not more so, than rabid fangirlishness. :)

Edit: if you make fun of me, I will eat your fucking head, seriously. It's JUST A BOOOOK. XD

Twilight fans might seem ridiculous to you guys. And nerds seem to be having fun ripping on them whenever possible. But, might I remind you of all the Cosplayers out there? Books written on the "science" of Star Trek? All those who have braved a Star Wars marathon, covered in sugar and various salts? Maybe you lined up at midnight for a video game? Or days in advance?

Have you never tried something awful just because a brand was plastered all over it?

I say to you, let ye who is without fandom cast the first stone.

That said I almost peed my pants when the dude came peeling into the parking lot: "Yeah! Just going 60 in a parking lot like I always do!!"

You think people don't make fun of cosplayers? ...Really? XD

Besides, Star Wars is actually.....good. ;)
