Where I'm from you could vote, consent to sex, join the army and buy cigarettes, but not drink and/or gamble.

me...so i didn't....i have had alchohol in any form less times than i have finger on one hand....im not a social drinker, although i do offer to be a DD for my friends that are....

Well, I don't drink as it is, and it's not because its technically illegal. I could go into a long-winded and probably really stupid explanation as to why, but suffice it to say it's very roughly analogous to why vegetarians don't eat meat.

Don't worry, I didn't do anything really nutty on my 21st either - I worked at my summer job (data collection out in a salt marsh, yay!) and then that night my folks stopped by and took me to Outback Steakhouse. Even now at the most I'll drink alcohol maybe twice a month. :/ It just isn't my thing, y'know?

My 21st I got so drunk I licked a carpet...and I will never live it down...
For Shekey's 21st I plan on taking her bar-hopping in Aggieville (there are like 20something bars there) Yay college towns!

Eh, only if your friends can't hold their drink. I've rarely been in the situation where I've had to look after a drunk friend.

Then again, 21st... could be tricky.
